Can use for very large loose-leaf binder full of documents and has handle to carry

I have three fire and water proof document safes but a flat 8.5 x 11" sheet of paper fills the bottom of these safes and you cannot use stiff loose-leaf binders inside the safes or the air-tight lids will not close properly. I needed a fire and water proof (resistant) document bag that I could use to protect a 4" spine-width extra large loose leaf binder full of legal documents. This document bag is wonderful--I can insert the extra large loose leaf binder inside with it standing up on its bottom edge rather than lying flat (which I could also do) but it is easier for me to access the documents if the binder is on its bottom edge and I just lift it out of the fire and water proof bag. It comes with a silica gel packet to put inside the bag but I also ordered the reusable silica gel packets that have crystals which turn from orange to green when they have absorbed all the moisture they can and it is time to dry them in the microwave. I also ordered a set of locks with easy combinations you set yourself to lock the document bag zippers together, but don't really need them at the present time; maybe when traveling I will want to lock the document bag. It has a handle on top for ease in carrying and also has a shoulder strap to attach if desired. I love this document bag and highly recommend it.

Perfect

We weren't as concerned about theft as we were fire protection for some important things. This bag is great. It holds a lot, but is light enough to carry if we need to leave the house quickly. It also keeps important things together if family members needed to get them. Fireproof boxes seemed to be so heavy for a small amount of storage, and not durable. This seems to be very well made. I would definitely recommend getting the larger size. There's always one more thing you think of to put in, and it's still not too big to store conveniently, or carry.

Highly recommend!! Great Value & Well Made

I bought one of these based on all of the great reviews & I was so impressed I ordered another. Setting up a type of emergency “go-bags”. A lot easier to grab these and run in an emergency than two heavy safes. Like some else has already said, if someone really wants to steal your stuff a heavy safe won’t make much difference & these are water resistant & fireproof. Great price, very well made. I really like them. In fact several members of our family have now purchased.

Holds a lot and is easily accessible and easy to carry at a moment's notice!

Obviously I don't know about the water tightness, or the fireproof status unless I throw the bag into the swimming pool or into the fire pit! I will do neither. I am relying on the testing certifications noted in the product description. Neither did I test the solid fireproof safe that I am replacing (measuring 12 X 13 X 15; weighing 30+ pounds empty) for water proof or fire proof characteristics! For the longest time, I did not have my important papers protected against water or fire. Then I found the solid fire safe, which worked out over the last many years. But now I have discovered the Roloway bag and I am sold! The Roloway bag holds all of my papers (that had been in the solid fire safe). There is still room at the side for miscellaneous items (coins, jewelry, etc??). The bag currently weighs thirteen pounds filled!! A major plus is that the Roloway bag is easily accessible in my home, and can be easily grabbed and carried with me for any last minute escapes should the need arise. The 'old' fire safe could have been carried, but due to its size and weight, that task would not have been easy ... and probably would have been time consuming at a point where there's no extra time to be had! Very happy with my purchase and would recommend to others!

Portable Lockable Lightweight Safe

I purchased this for my 90 year old aunt who had all her important papers in an expandable accordian cardboard type file folder. While it worked for her needs, it was not waterproof, fireproof or lockable. I went on a mission to find something she could lock and also carry with her in case of a fire. It does not come with a lock, but I inquired and found that a luggage lock set would work by placing the two zippers together and looping through holes of both zippers. A regular safe would have been too heavy for her to lift, so the Roloway will work to protect her valuable papers and is portable enough to grab and run in case of flood or fire. Hope this information is helpful.

This bag is a good safety item.

This bag appears to be well constructed and holds a lot of stuff. It is easy to load and easy to carry with the detachable shoulder strap. I have not tested the water resistance. And the only way to test the fire proofing is, well, you know. Hope I never have to do that. I loaded all my important and irreplaceable papers and there is plenty of room remaining for some small electronics--cell phone, laptop, chargers, etc. and maybe some jewelry. The bag is exactly what I was looking for. Unlike a safe box, it is light enough, even full, for me to carry. I feel safer having it.

Great product that I hope we never have tested!

I ordered 4 Roloway fire-resistant bags to hold larger items that I wanted to be as fire-safe as possible. These cases fit my larger items even including one large, over-stuffed scrapbook/album. In addition each of the bags came with a smaller pouch that I plan on taking down to my safe deposit box at the bank to store the most crucial items in the box. (Safe deposit boxes are not fire-resistant.) Thank you for manufacturing the larger size. Judging how well they are made, they may even hold up to a little water in the event of a deluge of water putting out a fire, something I hope we never experience.

Good quality bags. Definitely worth the money. I feel very confident if a fire broke out my papers and documents would be safe and survive. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for fire proof bags.
