Pleasantly surprised!

I really liked this product when I first purchased it, but unfortunately after my fourth use, the hose broke off and it is now inoperable. Since it is not something I use on a daily basis and it was not something that happened during the first couple of weeks of purchase, I no longer have the option of returning or exchanging it. It worked great while it lasted, but it turned out to be money wasted. Update: I am updating my previous review based on the excellent customer service provided when addressing the issue I had with my first pump. Within an hour of posting my original review, I was contacted to resolve my issue and my item was replaced. That alone will keep me as a customer. Thanks again for valuing me as a customer.

So far, so boss

Filling up my motorcycle’s tires has always been a hassle. The hoses at the gas stations have unreliable pressure gauges, so I’m always worried about over inflation. That means filling in spurts, and then using my Accu-Gauge to confirm the psi. The Helteko is incredibly easy to use. It feels well built, and it’s even smaller than I was expecting. It is possibly about 3 pounds optimistic. So if I want to inflate my front tire to, say, 31psi, then I’ll set the Helteko to about 34 or 35, and use my Accu-Gauge to bleed off any over inflation. However.... it could also be that my Accu-Gauge is off. So happy I finally got one of these things. Hopefully it will stand up to the test of time.

Accurate, Good Inflation Speed, Nice Storage Pouch

I got this tire filler and used it the same day. All my tires were down because the temperature changed with the season. This plugged into the cigarette lighter and I easily changed to PSI and set the 35.0 desired pressure. Snap the nozzle on, hit the start button and away it goes. From 26.6 to 35.5 in about 45 seconds. All the tires were stopped at 35.5 PSI, I'd rather have them a touch high than low, and they are all the same. Checked with a manual gauge that I know and got the same readings. Put the unit into its little storage pouch and done. This is MUCH better than my old method of getting the air compressor and tire gauge out, guessing how much, checking, fill some more, check, let some air out, check again. That caused me to ignore the tires except for twice a year. Now it'll be a monthly thing.

Very easy to use

Very easy to use. This comes with a long cord which is great. Many air compressors have shorter cords which are not long enough. One minor dissatisfaction is that the LED readout is very faint for the "type" of air measurement selected such as PSI, Bar, etc. That could be darker and easier to read. The actual numeric readout is fine. The unit is easy to hook up and stops when the right air level is achieved. Light weight, normal sound level, and attractive red & black color.

Great Compact Tire Inflator

My old tire pump finally died (after 15 years) and I searched for a while for a new one. I like to keep one in the car just in case. Received this item promptly through Amazon prime. My husband finally had the opportunity to use it and he was really impressed. Inflated the tire quickly without hassle. You can set the pressure and it will turn off when has it inflated to the correct psi. I love that it come with great storage bag and it is compact and light. Very easy to store in the car. I would definitely recommend this purchase.

Outstanding compact digital tire inflator

Helteko portable 12v DC digital tire inflator review: Pros: Lightweight compact design. Digital LED readout. After setting unit of measure and pressure (like PSI and 35lbs), the Helteko remembers it after being turned off. Soft rubber feet to reduce noise and prevent Helteko from moving around on concrete floor. Lever operated quick connector for valve stem. Automatic shut off at preset pressure. Bright LED light for emergency night-time use. Cons: 12v DC powered only, but a 120v AC adapter can be purchased. Note: Read instructions. The Helteko must be plugged into 12v DC power source first then attached to car valve stem second, otherwise the unit doesn't automatically power on and the start button can't be used. When used on my 2017 Chevy Equinox, I set the Helteko to 35lbs. Afterwards, the car's driver information center displayed the tire as having 36lbs. I reduced the Helteko pressure to 34.5lbs and the other three tires were detected as having 35lbs. Overall I give the Helteko five stars. I've owned several of these portable tire inflators over the years and this one is superior. It would be even nicer though if it was AC/DC powered, but the unit would have to be larger and heavier.

Works well, Seems to be pretty well built.

I woke up to a flat tire, and on a Monday. I ended up working from home because it was -4 when I woke up and I didn't want to change my tire. I ordered this in the morning and got it at about 5pm the same day (your mileage may vary). I was nervous about my tire as it was pretty well flat, but this pumped it right up. It probably took it 4 or 5 minutes to get the tire to almost 30psi on my Ranger. The motor sounds strong and the power switch feels like it's going to last, that may sound weird but I've run into a few things like this where the power button almost falls off every time you use it. This seems pretty solid and did it's job well. The flashlight is pretty bright as well. I LOVE that it's a quick snap to lock on and not a twisting action, it always seems like you lose a pound or two of pressure removing those things. This is quick and easy, even in sub zero temperatures.

Great pump to keep in trunk

I had a small pump to keep tires inflated but it was 120V house current only. Decided to get this 12V pump so that it is always in car trunk. Now I can adjust pressure whenever I need -- like when I go to snow country and the temperature is 30 degrees colder leaving tires under-inflated. ALSO - Now I know that when I need my neglected spare tire due to flat, I can pump it up to the required 60 psi. This pump is great. I set the desired pressure and all four tires get perfectly inflated. So easy to use.

Simply AMAZING

I am so pleased with this pump. It is a must have for every car out there. Out with the old bulky compressor in your garage. This is a compressor everyone can use , all it takes is two buttons its amazing. I pumped my tires in my SUV and Sedan with so much ease that I will buy 2 or 3 more of these, absolutely so handy love it. And so small that its almost the size of a phone. It also has a nifty flashlight and digital display in case of emergency when pumping at night. It will save you from so much trouble and money .

Great service & great compressor

So far so good! I have not had it long enough to get a feel for how well it works, but it did pump an RV tire up to 76 pounds, though it did cut in and out which stopped when I held the power button all the way in. Will update in the future as I use it more. 5/26/18-I upgraded this compressor to 5 stars, for it's usability and the customer service Helteko provides. The one I received above was damaged in shipping as it quit altogether after that use. They sent an immediate replacement and I've used it twice to inflate 6 truck tires to 80lbs, 4 car tires to 35lbs and 4 bicycle tires to 40lbs. The cutoff on the unit is within 2lbs of any of my tire gauges. It works like a champ and Helteko has your back-best customer service I've come across in years. Thank you Emma!
