Another Kodak moment!

Found a box of 40+ year old negatives & wanted to go through them and save the ones I thought were important. Super easy to set up and download the app. I was happily surprised at the results! Its very sturdy and I’m sure it will last me long enough to view all of my old pics even if I don’t save to file. Definitely a good value.

So sorry for the late review. End of the school year is very busy. This helped me a lot with all the negatives I found cleaning out my dad's stuff. I enjoyed that I could download them to my phone and share right away. Thank you again

It’s awesome! We used my iPhone camera— I did not use the app, just my phone’s basic camera app, and it worked great. Quick and easy— could probably do 100 slides an hour this way. Excellent value for the price compared to other options.

Really handy tool

This is a great quick and dirty way to scan slides and negatives from your archives. Very worth the little money it costs!

It works!!

I really like Kodak brand products! This device really shocked me, I was not sure if it would perform the task at hand, but it really surmounted my expectations! I need a larger machine to accomplish the task for the the amount of negatives I need to print pictures of, and I need one that I can hook up to a printer, but it works great the view of the negative has a lot to due with your electronic device as to how clear the picture comes out, and wipe your negative with a chemical and lent free tissue or cloth to clear it of any dust, but you won't be disappointed, the quality is amazing for the price!!

Low cost but excellent for scanning slides!

At first the device seems flimsy, but when correctly assembled it is sturdy enough to support your smart phone. The spacing is fine for the purpose and the light source is even daylight and makes for good color rendition of the slides you are copying. Since I am using an iPhone, I made spacers to ensure the phone would be in the right position (see photos) and used a slight magnification to make sure the slide image filled the frame. It does the job. I have just gone through over 1800 slides at one sitting. Note - make sure the slides are placed with the emulsion "up" to get sharper captures!

A must have

I am shocked at how great this little piece of machinery is especially for the price. I am a total moron (no kidding) when it comes to technology and I was able to get this working in minutes. I have 50 year old negatives that look perfect on here. It’s a game changer. LOVE IT!!!

Highly Recommended

Quick, good quality scans that are easy to share. Nice editing tools. Easy to set up and use. Convenient storage. Never expected to replace our $500+ digital film scanner that we use for high resolution, detailed work. The Kodak Mobile Film Scanner does an admirable job of creating shareable, camera-phone-quality images. The editing tools are a nice addition that allows experimentation with contrast, color correction, etc. Great little scanner for the price.

This is amazing!!! If you thought that your old slides were lost with time. Think again!!! They get uploaded straight to your smart phone to share endlessly with your family and friends. My grandpa saw pictures of himself from the 50s that he hadn’t seen in decades in just the time It took to unpackage the box. Amazing product.
