• Easily tilt your Echo Show 5 forward or backward to improve viewing angle.
  • Quick and secure magnetic attachment.

I have the original Echo Show in the kitchen, and two Echo Spots. when I saw the Show 5, I first questioned what it was worth, but (being a geek both professionally and at heart) I had to try it out. Saw a video saying the sound was poor. I disagree with that one completely. The sound is crisp and clear, with plenty of volume for a small space. If I need something louder, I can always add speakers or pay the extra money for a larger unit. It's perfect for a personal viewer on my deck (yes, I have electricity and WiFi in range) without being drowned out by the neighbor mowing their law or disturbing the neighbor by being too loud. The size many be smaller than either the original or 2, BUT it's larger than the Spot, and fits much better just about anywhere. It's large enough to actually watch a video like I would on my cell phone, and cost a lot less than any cell phone one the market. The only improvement I'd recommend for the cost is giving ME the option of when I want the screen darkened. I'm in the office at 5 in the morning, so I need it to go dark sooner than Amazon decided was normal. In a 24/7 world, there are no NORMAL sleeping hours.

Bought as a present for my wife.... We both love it. Using it in the kitchen and it comes in handy every day. Speaker is more than loud enough to watch a show while washing dishes, and it's cool to look up recipes with the step by step directions. Small size means we can put it almost anywhere without it getting in the way.

This tiny - the Echo Show is small - stand is perfect. It elevates the Show enough that the bottom speakers are accessed. Improved the sound a great deal and made me even happier with my new device.

This item is literally what it says it is; a stand for your Echo Show 5. It attaches to your Echo Show 5 with some sort of rare earth magnetic magic and can tilt to whatever degree the average normal person might prefer (bat people who hang from the ceiling might have issues though). It also gives your Echo Show 5 extra confidence as it adds about an inch of height (A little over two centimeters for you Metric types) and helps keep your Echo Show from the embarrassment of getting wet in the event of accidental spillage (a situation my Echo Show narrowly avoided recently). In any event, you probably don't need this stand. The Echo Show 5 is perfectly good on its own. That said, your Echo Show 5 wants it, and that along with the confidence and self esteem boost your Echo Show 5 will get from having its own personal adjustable stand makes it a valued addition to your Echo Device Family.

I purchased this stand for the purpose of “lifting” the Show 5 up a bit to see if clearing more space between the speaker and my nightstand would improve the sound quality (which is not too bad already considering the size) as well as offer better viewing options when laying in bed. This did the trick. I really like the Show 5 so much so that I now have one on my end table in my living room. I am not going to purchase a stand for the living room show 5 just because there is no need for it for my purposes (I have a Show and echo 2nd gen nearby so sound isn’t an issue and as I said before the sound is pretty good anyway+I really don’t need to enhance the viewing angle for the end table unit. Would I recommend this stand ? Yes, it’s of decent quality and for a bedside table offers a nicer viewing angle and less muffled sound.

Absolutely love this latest incarnation of the Echo Show. The 5” screen size delivers a very usable unit that is unobtrusive and perfect for being a clock, Alexa device and video calling device. I purchased two units at release replacing an Echo Show Gen 1 and Echo Spot I had and have been using these new units for a month now. I’m absolutely thrilled with them. I did spring for stands for both as the stand is adjustable making setting the unit up for video calls really easy rather than having to hold the unit at the right angle. Highly recommend.

Got this because my old digital alarm with BIG numbers was in last leg, this looked about the same size. It's actually a bit smaller and the clock displays smaller but I love it. Already had an Echo in the bedroom but this is awesome for watching videos in bed. Has too many great features to mention. My only complaint is, why didn't I get 2 or 3 while they were on Prime Days? EDIT: Ooops, didn't realize I was supposed to be reviewing the stand! The stand works well, attaches easily/securely. The base is slightly adjustable - but it's difficult to grab the unit to adjust without hitting the controls of the Show. I like that the stand hold the Show slightly higher, it does allow better angles than if the unit was just sitting. It's also easy to hold in my hand if I'm watching something in bed without my glasses!

I bought 2 during Prime Days. It was largely an impulse purchase because I thought the price too good to pass. I should have bought 2 more. I have the echo show 1 and 2. This is the perfect size for the night stand as the 2, which I had on the night stand before, was really too big. I have the ring doorbell cameras working with the shows and [aside from Ring's issues with delayed response] are great for seeing activity around the house in the middle of the night. The cost for the stand is preposterous. The device should "hook" to the stand like in the 2. The magnet is just stupid and ineffective. If they go on sale again, I will buy 2 more show 5s for xmas gifts....no hesitation.

Ok Amazon, ok...you got me. For weeks I stalled and resisted the urge to buy this stand but in the end, I eventually caved. I did have a gift card so it didn’t hurt quite as much but still...I just found it hard to justify dropping $20 for a plastic stand. But anyway, I bought it and I'm happy with it. Is it necessary? No. But I admit, it does enhance the appearance of the Show 5 and being able to adjust the viewing angle is a nice feature so for that, kudos to Amazon. You got me again!

20200121 1746. Excellent stand, magnetic, quick to attach and adjust. The stand attaches flawlessly to the bottom of the echo. The Echo 5 has a steep slant to it, so it looks up at about a 40-degree angle (40 degrees above horizontal). The stand tilts to get the Echo looking horizontal. The steep angle up is great for a night stand, but not so good if the device is in a room like a den or living room. The stand makes video calls much better if more than 2 people want to be in front of the camera. 20200205 UPDATE. These things are great. Maybe even better than the larger Echo Show. They take up less space, and make a nice addition to the night stand. I've replaced a number of things (like a clock) with the Echo Show 5. We have two, one on either side of the bed. They seem to figure out which one should respond. One disappointment: I grouped the two Echo Shows, and they play music as a group, but not in stereo. Amazon, you really need to do a better job on this. You would probably sell more devices if you could make them just a little more consumer-oriented.
