Bought my very first patio umbrella. I don't know anything about umbrellas or the base they need to stand upon, so I relied on positive Amazon reviews to make my choice. This particular base from Blissun had a wealth of positive feedback... ...and no wonder! The base was an absolute breeze to put together with each piece properly marked in the instruction manual. I had it screwed together in about five minutes. No problems whatsoever. At 22lbs. this base has substantial weight to it. With my 9' umbrella in place, it was not easy to tip it over. I feel very confident that my umbrella is safe in a closed position, during heavy windy storms, while sitting in this base. Additionally, it has a very nice design which you can clearly see in one of my included photos. One last thing... To ensure that this base fits different sized poles, there is a removable piston that sits atop the mounting bar. I had to remove the piston to fit my particular umbrella. At first, I wasn't certain I should be doing this as the piston actually looks as if it protects water from getting inside. However, I have been assured by other customers that removing this piece is fine -- especially if it means properly fitting your umbrella into it. I can confidently recommend this base. I am very happy with this purchase.

Nice design, good quality

I got this base stand for my patio umbrella which bought on sale. The color is pretty suitable to my umbrella come with high quality finishing, the 22 lbs base is heavy enough to hold the umbrella, and there is a tightening knob to properly securing umbrella to the base.

Great base, Looks Nice With My Wicker Deck Set

I was just looking for the least expensive patio umbrella base when I came across this one. I love the look of it! It matches my plastic wicker deck furniture perfectly! Nice weight to it so it’s holding my umbrella nice and secure. Good value.

Sturdy & nice looking umbrella base

This is a great umbrella base! It’s very sturdy, was easy to assemble, & is ascetically pleasing to the eye. We’ve had it at the base of our table and umbrella for a few weeks and had major storms that uprooted trees but this held up just fine.

Well Constructed and Heavy

This base is well constructed and quite heavy and holds our umbrella in place. We live in a coastal area that is windy and we have had no problems with our umbrella pulling away from this base. I would recommend this base highly.
