Great sewing machine for beginners! I have not sewn in a long time, so I had to remember basics, but the video that is attached in the product description is super useful! Mainly, need to make sure that you threaded your string exactly how it is shown in the instructional video and there should be no problems. For my first project, I used the sewing machine to fix my ripped jacket and it worked great! Sewing machine came with a black and white string, so if you need more colors, you need to purchase them. Make sure to get good quality string, because I tried to use one of the pieces that come in those mini sewing kits, and the string kept breaking as it was super thin and not fit for machine sewing.

Simple,light weight,and easy to use!

I am a beginner and i brought this machine recently. I used to hand sew and always wanted to try a sewing machine. After reading and comparing I decided to give this a try. It is very easy to sew with it. I love this little machine. It's affordable, simple, light weight , dependableam and so easy to use. I think it is one of the best value purchases I have ever made.

Great sewing machine for beginners

This is my first sewing machine, it’s so mini, great for my small apartment. As a beginner, I found it was very helpful to read through manual and watch the operation video before giving a try. So far, I have used it to make two sets of my daughter’s doll clothing. We have great fun designing and making the clothes for dolls.

Perfect for the beginner!

I'm a beginner. I was just looking for something cheap to get the hang of things. The old reviews had me nervous but for under $20 there wasn't much to lose! I took my time to learn every piece and it's purpose before even plugging it in. Now I'm addicted. It's so easy to work! I was planning on buying a fancier one after I practiced on this one, but I honestly don't need one! This does everything I need for my beginner projects!

I tend to usually hand stitch things since that was the cheapest thing. However when I saw that this sewing machine wouldn’t cost me an arm and a leg I figured why not? It’s a great beginner machine that can sew just about any fabric. It comes with everything you could need like the machine, needles, and thread. It comes with an easy to understand instructions manual that even beginners like me can understand. It’s great for sewing and making plushies and if you are on a low budget this machine would work great.
