Keeps water at bay automatically.

We ordered this pump because we had water in our basement coming through the floor, and we wanted something that would keep up with the water automatically. This pump was a lifesaver, and it is the only one we found that will activate at a shallow depth. We still have a shallow puddle, but the pump has kept it at a constant level and it isn't spreading. It is also pretty quiet. I would highly recommend this product!

Excellent pump!

This worked perfectly to move the excess water off my patio and away from the house during heavy rains, it really saved us!

Automatic on/off for shallow water

I have finally found an automatic on/off pump for shallow water. With the atmospheric rivers we have been having here in the Sacramento Valley, my yard fills up with water. I have automatic sump pumps for deeper water, but part of the patio fills up and does not get deep enough for a sump pump. I had been using small pumps for low areas near the house, but none were automatic so I had to watch them so they did not burn out when the water got too low. We are in a non flood area, but the houses behind us were built to drain to the back when our development was just a field. Our house is built to drain to the front so water from behind us drains through our yard. It is a relief to not worry about water coming into the house as it did in 1985.

Pump works great. Have a leak I can't control, this pump keeps floor dry.

marvelous little pump, so far

I was researching automatic utility pumps to move water off a mostly flat basement floor. The description of this pump sounded exactly like what I was looking for but had little history and only 1 review. I decided to take a chance anyway and I'm glad I did. I don't understand the mechanics of how it works, but it does. It senses water at a very low level, turns the pump on,pumps the water to the drain and then automaticly shuts off. It somehow, self primes and when the sensors sense water again, it turns back on. I did have to add a back flow check valve so that it didn't cycle itself too frequently but that solved the problem. I don't have a way to add a sump basin and sump pump to this area of the basement and so far this little pump works great. I've only had it a couple of months, so I can't speak to longevity, but it seems well made. The flooding of this area of our basement is only a 3 or 4 times a year problem when the really big rains come, but so far, so good. Thanks

Heavy duty, good quality, pumps quickly.

Works better than expected

This pump pumps a lot of water and does pump out to a very low level. I am mainly using it to drain spas and pools so this pump is ideal. Highly recommended.
