Better than Logitech's solution

The Logitech C920 webcam comes in 2 versions: the C920 without a privacy cover and the C920S with a privacy cover. The C920S's privacy cover looked like an afterthought at best and more like bad pimple on the face of the camera. So I went for the C920 without the cover and bought this MoimTech cover instead. It fits perfectly, made of quality plastic, and (to me) looks worlds better than Logitech's solution. And while I'm not certain, I think the combination C920 + MoimTech was cheaper than the C920S. Anyway, I highly recommend the C920 + MoimTech cover as a solid/better option over the C920S.

Fits my Logitech C920 perfectly and works well.

Fits my 3 year old Logitech C920 perfectly. Snaps snuggly on top of camera and is easy to cover and uncover camera lense. Update: I have seen a couple of questions on how the cover attaches and how the cover operates. When you press it onto the camera you can feel and hear it securely snap/click into place and does not easily fall off. There is a hinge between the part that snaps onto the camera and the cover itself. When ready to use simply lift the cover only with your finger. When done, just push the cover back down to close. I've taken between 50 to 75 video conference calls with the cover so far and still working great.

I Can't Tape It Anymore!

Argh, I was tired of placing a piece of black tape or post it note over my webcam to stop any accidental starting of the camera when I didn't want. So many services, zoom and webex etc will control your camera. This simple cover takes care of all those issues. It is very tidy, clips on very firmly and does not look like a "macgiver" solution to this problem. Also too many times the sticky tape will blur the camera, so no more issue here. Highly recommended for peace of mind.

Snap on cover. Cheap and MUCH better than anything I tried to make at home.

Being too cheap to buy the C920 with the pre-installed privacy cover, I figured I'd just use paper, a tissue, or a decorated toilet paper tube as a quick cover. Turns out that months of this homemade nonsense was so annoying and unreliable that I came here to buy one. This snaps on, is easy to use, and stays up/down when I need it to. I downgraded it to 4 stars for quality since the flip cover snapped off almost immediately when I was trying to install it. Good news- it went right back on. However, no matter what I did the flip up cover wasn't perfectly level after that. The 'hinge' area may have bent a bit but it still does the job it was meant to do. I just won't ever take it off or fiddle with it again. It's a cheap and effective privacy cover.

Good Privacy Cap

The Camera privacy cap fits and is well made. It is easy to install. It fits the camera snuggly and is secure when open. I point this out as I have purchased another type from another source and it fell off when in use. This one appears to be well designed so I see a few years of use from it. Because of its sturdy design, great fit and functionality I gave it 5 stars

Perfect solution for computer-mounted webcam privacy

Like many people, I am now working from home and am on camera many hours during the day. My webcam faces me all day, and now that I have this cover, I feel much less concerned about accidentally leaving my camera on. It’s super easy to install, too. In fact, I wouldn’t even use the word “install”. You literally just place it on top of your Logitech webcam and flip the flap up or down. One of my best purchases this year.

Works great and the look is seamless

Works fine and matches my Logitech C920 perfectly so it looks like part of the camera. It's a lot nicer than the folded piece of paper I was using as a privacy cover before! The quality is sufficient for the task. The fit on mine is really tight, so I didn't get it fully on and that made me think is was actually a bit too big to latch onto my Logi C920. But once I got it on there and latched properly, it's nice and secure. The flap doesn't latch closed but it does stay up. If you need to travel with it and want the cover to protect the lens, wrap a rubber band around the whole thing.

I like this better than the one that comes with the new version of the camera. Clicks right on. Covered everything. Opens easy but stays open well. Does exactly what it’s made to do.

Fits Perfectly, Easy to Install, Great Product

I was originally looking for a new webcam to replace the one I have. I've been working remotely for almost 4 years now but I use 3 displays hooked up to my laptop, so the laptop's webcam is no good for my use case. However, with the pandemic going on and all the new people working from home, the webcams I was interested in were sold out. For example, I really wanted a webcam with an integrated privacy shutter akin to one of my laptops, a Lenovo X1 Carbon that lets you manually cover the webcam with a switch in the screen bezel. So I looked around on Amazon for a bit and finally stumbled onto this gem. It fits my Logitech C290 webcam perfectly. Installation took less than a minute. When the privacy cover is down, no light bleeds into the camera even if it's turned on. When the cover is up, there's no chance of it accidentally closing shut on its own. Overall a great product for those of you looking for the privacy features of a newer webcam by upgrading an existing one. Strong recommend!
