This is my first wok and I love it. It seasoned easy and well with peanut oil and it is easy to maintain. I have used it for every meal since buying it. I highly recommend it. All the meals have come out great. I have attached two pictures of meals I made with the wok.

My wife was skeptical about buying another carbon steel wok that can rust easily. But this wok came out perfect after my first seasoning with no rust at all. It is sturdy and surprisingly lightweight that my wife can use it fine. We've made a few meals with it now and it works really well! I wish we'd gotten one sooner.

Excellent quality and so easy to season even though I had never done that before! I’ve done a lot of research on how to season a wok properly. Some of the hard core one suggest to turn on the gas stove into a super high heat but I wasn’t able to do it with my gas stove. However, I found this is the easiest way without burning my house down. The wok looks like it came with some sort of protective oil to keep it from rusting, so I scrubbed it clean before use. Then I rinsed it in hot water and put it on my stove in high heat to dry up the wok right away. Once it is hot and dry I poured the oil and swirled it around the wok, then turned down the heat to low and let it “cook” for a bit. The hot areas began to turn light blue and rainbow. I repeated the last 2 steps for few times and let it cool down completely. That’s how I seasoned my wok! So far I've made stir-fry noodle, vegetables and lots and lots of fried rice and it never sticks. Typically, I only use hot water to clean the wok because certain cleaning products may damage the seasoning. Overall it is an awesome wok with a great price!

Once properly seasoned, this wok works perfectly. I have used it non-stop since I’ve had it. The craftsmanship is beautiful and it was much lighter than I expected. In terms of the cooking performance, it heats up quickly and evenly which is perfect for stir-fry. The wooden handle is long and stays cool so it’s easy for me to toss around ingredients. I am happy with my purchase, highly recommended.

This wok is great. I use it to make fried rice and reheat leftover Chinese food. The key is taking the time to season this wok per directions. I used peanut oil to do my seasoning and this this is now close to nonstick after just a few uses. Be sure to buy the wok spatula and heating ring.

This is a very nice pow wok. Solid construction, and easy and quick to season. Turns a nice blue-black. Pretty much non-stick after that, and very easy to care for. More than big enough for 2 people

I have not used this yet but just by holding it I can tell this is going to last me the rest of my life. This thing is sturdy as heck and very large.

Dislike the wooden handles are loose. Great for cooking in wok. Other than the handles great for everything else

I am new to using a wok. This wok is the type of wok traditionally used in China, the round bottomed pow wok. What I immediately noticed about this wok is how heavy it is. I did not expect a carbon steel wok to be this heavy. It is well made, looks beautiful, and has a cool touch wooden handle. It looks exactly like what my Chinese friends use to cook. At $40, that's cheap in comparison to the many high end pots and pans I own. If you haven't used a wok, you should try it. They are great for frying and sauting. I have really enjoyed learning about traditional Chinese cuisine and, as a result of this effort, I have greatly increased the amount of vegetables I am eating. Having a wok is improving my diet. If you want to cook Chinese food like the Chinese do, this wok is an excellent choice and a good value for the money.

I love this wok... It is my go to pan for just about everything. It took a couple of times to get it seasoned but once I got that, it works like a no stick. Can use it on the gas range or open fire. Price was also good..
