This little alarm clock is so cute! I hate waking up in the morning so bought this mainly for the sunrise feature. I had a bit of trouble connecting the clock to my WiFi. It would keep failing to connect even when I tried everything suggested in the help section of the instructions. After about an hour of this, I was so close to giving up and sending it back. But then it finally connected after I reset my WiFi router (so not the clock’s fault). Once connected, all features on the clock can be controlled by the app, which I love and is so much easier than learning and memorizing what each of the buttons do. I’ve had it for two days now. I do like the sunrise. I like sleeping with a sound machine on all night. I haven’t found a way to leave the sound running constantly - I have only been able to have the sound on a max 2 hour timer. So that would be my only complaint so far. But other than that, I really like the clock. All of the different color options are fun and the clock has a lot of different features. It is a great value for the price.

I've had this alarm clock for about a month or two now. I was having issues waking up and getting motivated to get out of bed when it was early in the morning and really cold. I had low expectations; I was hoping that it would at least keep the correct time and turn on every morning since it was so cheap, but I have been blown away by this little thing. It reliably connects to Wifi and can be controlled with your phone! It can get the time from the internet, so it never runs fast or slow. There are so many different settings to use, but I do 10 minutes of sunrise before the alarm (the shortest amount of time). By the time the alarm goes off, my room is bright enough to feel motivated to get up at 5:30 am. The alarms are kind of cheesy sounding, and you cant fully turn off the sound, but the piano one is my favorite and it is nice to listen to over and over. I don't use sleep settings so the light/alarm noise will run for 10 minutes and then turn off. I've never used the radio function but it seems pretty straightforward to use. The speaker is not great quality, but that's not what I bought it for. I gotta say, it's definitely been easier to wake up early with this alarm for sure.

It's small than I thought it would be, but actually just the right size. When you first open the insert booklet to set it up, the print is so tiny that I had to get my lighted magnifying glass. Well.. a few pages later there are bigger instructions. THEN it tells you about the app, which I didn't even know it w worked with! So get the app first thing and v you can bypass the booklet altogether and do the set up with it. The only thing that confused me is that there is no setting for the a.m. p.m. and I never did figure that out but somehow managed to change it. It's weird. It has military time as the default, that has a switch to turn on or off. Set up wasn't as straight forward as they make it sound in reviews. And you need to memorize where and what all the buttons on the rim are. Works beautifully. I set it for 60 minutes wake up, and I actually woke up at the beginning and several times before the hour was up and the sound began. I may cut that in half. I stayed to make sure the snooze worked before shutting it off. Your snooze time is adjustable as well. Really the only thing missing is a toggle for the a.m. and p.m.. Other than that, it's pretty darn perfect! The app makes setting any of the four alarms a breeze! So many options! I had the volume at 10, and with my foam ear plugs in, I couldn't hear it.. but oddly still hear my husband's snoring.. so I will put that at it's highest setting. Ten is a normal, comfortable volume. That said, the 20 on the light will actually hurt your eyes to look at so don't do that, you can put it on twenty, which I did, but don't look at that directly unless you want a headache. It's VERY bright! Enjoy!

I can honestly say this alarm clock has made my wake up experience the easiest it ever has been. I do feel more awake when I wake up and less cranky (I am NOT a morning person). You can set the sunrise timer on anywhere from 10 minutes to 60 minutes so that it slowly lights up the room. I currently have it set on 20 minutes and that seems to be working nicely. Occasionally I do wake up near the beginning when it is still orange and then fall back asleep until it is fully bright and it plays the wake up sound. I also really like most of the wake up sounds - they are very peaceful, either soft birds chirping or relaxing piano music. I am not very tech-savvy, and have had no issues figuring out how to use it with the help of the manual it comes with. And I always set the clock by Smart Life, it is so easy. It also makes a nice reading lamp at night as I can adjust the light intensity so my husband can sleep!

This little lamp is really quite something. I used to have a Philips wake-up lamp, but this one is better in pretty much all aspects. First of all, the lamp works with Alexa. Being able to say "Alexa, turn on bedroom lamp" is pretty helpful. Furthermore, and this is something that I definitely didn't expect, all the different parts of the lamp are exposed as different devices. The lamp, the radio, the sleep sound portion, and all four different alarms. So, I can say "Alexa, turn on alarm 4" or "Alexa, turn off radio." Because of WiFi, the lamp is really easy to use. It can take the network's time, so you don't have to fiddle around with that either. All of the things can be set up using the SmartLife app, which I already had for a number of other (MartinJerry) light switches. The alarms -- well, there are four of them, and they can be set up for different weekdays. For example, my alarm 1 is a 6 AM weekday alarm. but it doesn't go off on weekends. I don't have to remember to turn the alarm on again after I've turned it off, like with my last Philips alarm clock (that was dangerous -- if I turned the alarm off on Monday morning and didn't turn it on again on Monday night, I wouldn't be woken up on Tuesday morning -- not with this lamp). The lamp also has a backup battery for the alarms. The sleep function is somewhat limited in sounds. I think I like the "river" sound, my wife likes "rain." Unfortunately, the "rain" has two little beeps in it that to me sound like someone is remotely locking or unlocking a car. Otherwise the sound is nice, I didn't expect it. It would be nice if I could more easily turn everything off using Alexa, for example, both the radio and the lamp. I created a group, but it doesn't really make sense, because I hardly ever want to turn everything on at the same time, just off. Overall, I'm super pleased with this lamp. Way better than expected, more features than lamps three or four times the price.

I found this alarm clock to have all of the features I needed at an affordable price point. Once I received the clock I found the set up to be very convoluted. The instruction manual does not align with the app and the app had language that was confusing...so the first night and morning was extremely frustrating. I contacted customer service describing the frustration I was experiencing with the set up...I mean an alarm clock should not be this complicated. They kindly explained that the app had recently been upgraded for simplicity, however the manual included with the clock had NOT been updated to match the app upgrade. They provided a link to a YouTube video that quickly showed the appropriate steps to simply set the alarm and light within the app. I now have a fully functioning alarm clock with all of the features I wanted.

First, let me say that I will never use a regular alarm to wake up by! The sunrise light alarm has changed my life for the better. I find I am ready to awaken and feel better throughout the day!! I had a light alarm that looked very much like this one (LBell was maker).....except it was a nightmare to set-up and then after 3 months of use, just died without warning. I have just received this one by HeimVision and it is so much easier to set up and use. This model allows me to use my phone to do the set up and it will even let me do voice commands and the price was no different than the frustrating LBell item. You will not be disappointed. Give this one a try. I will keep you posted on the durability!
