Ford F-150 2007 4.6L Got it today (Friday feb 28),Easy to do,nice thick gasket.I follow the recommendation, clean all surfaces and don't "over tight" the screws. Ill let you know IF theres anything wrong with the gasket in the future Update - Apri/19/2019 A lots of rain here in Virginia Beach....everything looks good, not a single drop of water inside my truck. picture....Heavy rain all day (april/19/2-019) Jun 17 2019 FAILED !!! ....water start coming again.Planing to get original Ford gasket.

This product performs excellently! After noticing the discoloration on my headliner, I realized it was most likely from the 3rd brake light. With this cost effective gasket, it took a little time to replace the old gasket with the new. Just make sure you are very careful removing the 2 screws form the light assembly and the same goes when tightening them back in. So not overtighten or you will crack the plastic and water could enter through those. Remove old gasket. Clean the light assembly edges. Use rubbing alcohol on it and the truck metal so the 2 way stickiness of the gasket adheres cleanly and completely. Since I have replaced the gasket, and cleaned the head liner (using Fords Carpet and Upholstery cleaner foam which works great!) I have not had a leak. I have driven in many rain storms, and went into the automatic car wash with a lot of water pressure, and still have not seen a stain on the headliner.

so far it seems to have fixed the leak I assumed was coming through the third brake light, since it has been raining and a little snow the last week since I replaced my old one, I think it has done the trick. If anything changes I think I can change my review to reflect otherwise?

This product is quite a bit thicker than the one from factory, which is great. The install was quite easy and took under 10 minutes however I'm still getting a leak via the third breaklight. I followed the instructions exactly minus placing the additional silicone around the light as the directions say it not required. I guess I will need to get some silicone to fully prevent the leaks. The leaks are minimal in comparison to what they were previous to this product install. UPDATE: Customer service was prompt in response to my issue and resolved this quickly. Excellent customer service!!!

Worked great for my 07 F150. Not as wide as OEM and doesn't have alignment holes. Old gasket is tough to remove as well. Don't over tighten the screws--push down on lens a little when installing. Make sure surface is clean before install. Put a little clear sealant on screw heads.

My old 3rd taillight gasket was leaking real bad in the car wash and when I removed it, it’s looked like a shriveled up weed! All compressed and skinny. This new one looked to be way better than the OEM that came on the truck. I think it should be replaced every couple of years regardless, just to avoid leaks. Took me 3 minutes to change out, with only a Phillips Head screwdriver. Couldn’t have been a more simple fix to a big leaking problem.

Very easy to install. Fit perfectly on my 2009 f150 stx. I hate water stains on the roof in the back towards the window. Thought it was the back glass but it was definitely the 3rd brake seal. Ford will tell you that you have to change the whole light. That is far from the truth. Also. Just peel one adhesive sticker off not both. So it comes off easy to change bulbs. Great product!

It fit just right with minimal manipulation. I used a small bead of adhesive just in case and after it’s first car wash, no water made it in the light fixture.

Bought to replace OEM gasket when replacing the third brake light and bed lights with led's. Gasket is thick! I made sure to clean all of the old gasket from the light and the truck. No issues installing the new gasket and it's been in for almost a year and no leaks whatsoever.

Bought this gasket for my 3rd brake light that had a garbage one on it from the factory. This one is dense and firm with sticky on both sides which I liked. Make sure it's where it needs to be before pressing down though.
