Something that you want to have with you when off-roading

Bought these because I went on a river run not too long ago. Helped about five people get pulled out of the mud and these things are still good as new. Very durable. Have also used them in the sand dunes and they are simply something that you want to carry with you when youre off-roading. I had actually bought the larger size ones but they were too big to carry in my 2 door Jeep JK.

A "Must Have" for new Jeepers/Off-roaders

I'm new to JEEPin' and Off-roading. Before heading out to my first trip, I did some research and I'm glad I got these traction boards! On my first trip, I was alone and stuck in mud. The tractions boards got me out with ease. I even used them to dig a little to position them. Awesome item to keep in the Jeep!

Stack really well on roof rack, time will tell if it holds up.

Compact!

Used these in my truck to pull a Jeep out from the bottom of a dune in Pismo. Put them under my rears. No broken prongs or anything. I'm sure really seriously agressive tires and high torque may rash them up or break some tabs off. One piece of advice - use something to mark where they are because after I went back looking for them they had shot a good two feet down in the sand from the torque. Nice and compact! Price is Right!

Traction mat

I haven't used these traction mats yet. I bought them for a zero-turn riding lawn mower. It has twice gotten stuck in grass covered mud. Extra assistance was needed to pull the mower out. I am hoping that with a little shoveling behind the back wheels, placing the traction mats down and backing it up slowly will get it out. These traction mats are as described. They have a deep tread and are quality material and workmanship. They are wider than the rear wheels of the riding mower. They came in a sturdy cardboard box that was inside a cardboard shipping box. They came in a plastic envelop that can be used for storage also. They are rugged and durable looking and with an affordable price.

Live savers.

Small but packs a punch. Went on a trip to Utah from California to visit Bryce Canyon. Upon arrival we turned into a dirt road at about dusk in search of a camping site. There was freshly melted snow as well as some frozen snow on the road but we were basically traveling on Clay, yeah like the clay from art class in 8th grade. Eventually we found the camp site and as we were approaching the snow got thicker and thicker and thicker and mixed with the clay...well we got stuck. I bought these little guys because I thought I would never use them. So glad I had them. Placed them behind the front wheels to go in reverse and was unstuck in 30 seconds. Had read reviews that some of these just break of flu out from under car. It could’ve been a lot worse! If you go off-road light weight sometimes you gotta take these “just in case”. Life savers!

Durable, smaller footprint for mounting, awesome product!

Few things that prompted this purchase...Have not gotten the chance to use these traction boards yet, but they appear to be a lot more sturdier than my previous ones that broke, they are a lot smaller than typical ones making them easy to stow in smaller vehicles, and they had great reviews where I was researching. These kind of traction boards are a must have when off roading!

Great for peace of mind

Haven't had to use these yet, but they are easy to store/leave in our Transit van for emergencies. Color is great so you can easily see to make sure they are positioned correctly.

Great choice for softroading

Does the job great for my Subaru Crosstrek. I’ve used them for traction and for a bridge onto obstacles that were higher than my clearance.

Great idea for anyone buying an SUV.

These are perfect for my Subaru Forester. I've got 4 of them neatly stacked in the rear cargo area. Very tough, lightweight traction for most applications.
