Bought this for my 2 year old and he definitely loves it! Considering all the little vehicles I have pushed him around in over the years this is by far the easiest with the convenient handle that it has. It actually allows you to steer as if you were the one riding. The quality of the trike it self feels great, it is very sturdy and seems like it will be able to last us for many years and maybe a few children. Also a nice little added benefit for the other dads out there it was very easy to put together, took maybe 10 minutes.

Great quality, easy to follow instructions for assembly, and the option of easily removing the adult steering rod (or whatever it’s called) makes it convenient for in-car transport. Both the adult steering rod and the handle bars in which it controls have some play...meaning they jiggle a bit left and right. But this seems intentional and not a quality issue. I find it convenient when I’m steering in one direction and my child wants to quickly jolt the handle bars without redirecting the bike’s path of travel. The best part is the storage compartment behind. It really comes in handy for wet wipes and/or a water bottle and/or a sweater. Lastly, the pedals don’t need to be disengaged if your child just wants to rest their feet without pedaling. It clicks so you know the pedals are not moving while the bike still is. And if your child so chooses to pedal along with you pushing it then it does so seamlessly without you doing anything. With other tricycles for kids you would need to disengage/reengage the pedals. Overall, highly recommended and solid quality.

I wish we has gotten this trike sooner! Our son has very mild cerebral palsy, so he's had to do a little extra work to reach some physical milestones. We got him a different grow-with-me type tricycle at first, but the positioning of the pedals just didn't work for him to learn. After well over a year of little progress on his first trike, we decided to buy this one. I couldn't be happier. He was able to do some pedaling on his own right from the start. We've kept the parent handle on, but only use it as needed. The parent handle is great because our son sometimes needs a little help to correct his steering or to push him over a bump or up a hill. He actually wants to try and play with this trike, and it's so good for him to finally learn and make some progress.

This thing is awesome! Love the handle, ring a ding that bell is why u buy a radio flyer baby!!! Kid loves it/ 16mo old and cant touch pedals— didnt want to pay $60+ more for the safety harness one of this bike— so i took an old high chair harness, zipties, and made my own harness! Love this gangster machine that makes the honnies scream! Great trike!

Santa brought this and it was a hit for our 2 year old daughter. She loves it even though she can't quite fully reach the pedals in the smallest seat setting (there are 3 seat locations ). She also loves the compartment in the back for hiding little toys. The handle allows us to push her all around and also controls the handle bars when steering. Clutch on the pedals is also nice as we can go "fast" without worrying about her feet getting tangled. It's nice that a bell was included however it's a simple bell that has a striker and let's out a single ding, as opposed to a "ring ring". All in all, santa nailed it with this one.

We love this Trike so far! Only had it for a week but it was a great gift for my 2 year old boy. He is about 31lbs and over average height and he is slightly too short to reach the peddles. We moved the seat up as close as possible, but his legs need to be about an inch longer to keep them on the peddles all the way round. The peddles do click when stationary but it isn't an obnoxious noise. Love that you can steer from the handle!

Great first tricycle! The best part of this trike is the adult-sized steering handle up top. Before researching which trike to buy my little cherub, I saw multiple, hunched-over, forlorn parents waddling behind their toddler offspring, pushing the kiddos down the street because their little legs got tired. But with the Steer and Stroll Trike - no hunching in anger for me. I would simply steer my little turtle dove down the street when she refused to pedal. Which was often. Also, the compartment in back was perfect for temporarily dumping my dog's used poo baggies. Yeah, don't forget to empty that thing - super gross ... I may or may not know from experience.

Excellent Buy. Our 2 year old grand daughter enjoys this. We take it on walks. she can pedal or not. You actually turn the trike for them with the extended handle. no bending over to assist them. took it on a beach trip and used it walking around the neighborhood and on board walk. No rusting even though it is on a porch and gets some wetness ocassionally. Highly recommend plus look forward to her baby brother using it when he is able.

This was definitely the best purchase for my 2 year old's birthday! He loves it! The handle is perfect to help with steering! However, the child can override the handle steering, so you have to make sure that you paying attention and don't run them into anything. You will not be disappointed and neither will your toddler!

When you are a 51 year old Mom with a toddler, this is a life saver. My four year old autistic son has struggled with coordination and this is helping him pedal and gain coordination while I can safely steer and guide him without bending over and pushing him around the block. What a blessing!
