This is my second Kozy valve kit. This time the inlet pipe came in from the side and the shutoff valve handle was hitting the pipe in the open position. Luckily the metal handle was easy enough to bend up to allow the the valve to be fully open. Flexible 3/4" hoses are made for these situations - I just didn't want to get the extra parts.

Wrap them threads!!!!
The directions say to wrap the threads with Teflon tape 5 times but reviews said to do it 10 or 11 times. Trust me, save some time and effort and wrap 10 to 11 times the first time. Other than that these are a great bang for the buck.

I ordered this for a job. Easy to install and looks good. Before and after pictures attached. Some of these only divert the flow one way or the other, these have 2 shut offs on each side which is really nice when servicing the water heater.

The PRV is lead free and it is identical to Zurn. I believe it is Zurn sold under Kozyvacu brand. The valves are also of a good quality. They open/close tight but smooth. Very good quality at reasonably low price.
