Good quality swim brief
This swimsuit is comfortable, looks good, and has reasonably long life. It is cut high enough to cover everything, but not so high that you will have a problem with the waistband rolling down. I am a triathlete and paddle boarder and have been through many of them. Though I use it all the time for training as well as leisure activities, I would not recommend riding a bike in this due to the center seam. With regular use (2-3 times per week) in a pool, this type of swimsuit will last about 6 months. For outdoor use, they last a bit longer due to lack of chlorine and drag caused by pushing off the wall. Also, they do run a bit big. I have a 38" waist, but find that size 34 works best for swimming in the pool (with the repeated turns and pushing off the wall) and either 34" or 36" will work for outdoor leisure activities.

Quality you can expect from Speedo.
I'm a swimmer, so Speedo has always been the go-to brand in my book. I bought two different pairs primarily for a costume, but I use them for workouts as well. I wear a 32" waist in jeans so I ordered a size 32 and a 34. The 34 were for the costume. They weren't as snug and had a little extra room in back. The 32's are what I use to swim laps or (rarely) compete in. They're a bit tighter like they're supposed to be and very comfortable. If you're going to buy these for looks, go a size up from your normal waist size. If you're going to buy these for competing, then get them at or a size below your normal waist size. (Pictured are the 34's)

A comfortable but very snug fit. You won't be smuggling any budgies in these.
Review from Mr Pattison. I'm 5'10" and 195 lbs with a 33-34" waist. Based on many of the reviews I decided to go with size 34 and they fit comfortably but very snugly. They are exactly what I wanted for swimming laps in my pool. I think a 36 would possibly have been too loose and baggy, little better than the shorts I've been wearing, while 32 would have been too tight, and maybe even too small. Not that 34 could be described as large by any stretch of the imagination, and if you're wearing a pair of these they do not leave much to the imagination. I don't know why the Aussies call them budgie smugglers, there's barely enough room in there for 'me' let alone a budgie.

Classic choice, good durability
I have recently taken up swimming as an alternative to running because it has started to bother my knees. I purchased these swim briefs to streamline my packing. The are small, so if I hit the pool after work, I don't end up with too much wet fabric I have to deal with. They seem to be constructed of a good material too. It has held up surprisingly well. I swim in a community pool that is highly chlorinated and I've so far been impressed with the longevity compared to another pair of speedo briefs I had before this one, although I forget the model. Navy briefs, white swim cap is a classic look, although red is also pretty tempting.

Excellent material
excellent material, very good color, only that I adjust the package and buy a size 34, maybe because I have a lot of back. however, I like it

First swim bikini - Love it!
This is my first swim bikini so i don't have much to compare it to, but I have to say I love this thing. Fitment is perfect and sizing was right on. I am a 35-36" waist, I ordered the 36 size and they are perfect. They fit snug and give good coverage for a skimpy bikini. Not too snug but just right to keep things together. Definitely would recommend for anyone brave enough to bare it all!

It's a Speedo....enough said!!!!
Alright, I'm one of those guys who should NOT wear a speedo. I bought this more as a joke so I can't say I'm the best reviewer. I have a 38" waist with love handles and this thing gave meaning to the phrase muffin top. Besides the feeling of having my man jewels squeezed into my throat I was pleasantly surprised at how I glided through the water on my recent trip to Virginia Beach. Yes, I embarrassed my wife....but that was the whole point!!!! Lol

The Speedo Solar's are the best they make
The Speedo Solar's are the best they make. Great for laps. And I love the new heather grey color. Fits as expected. I have 8 of these suits. They are by far my favorites for the pool and sunning in the yard.

As good as any Speedo
I'm a serious swimmer and runner, and I've noticed that people don't pay much attention to a serious runner wearing really short running shorts or a serious swimmer wearing a Speedo. This may be Speedo's skimpiest model, but it's still just a Speedo. It looks, feels, and functions just like other Speedos, and people can't tell the difference between this model or another Speedo. They just see a Speedo. So if you're a serious swimmer, have the body for it, and the confidence then go ahead and wear this as often as you want. If any of those three factors are missing then you may look silly in this or any Speedo. Update - two female lifeguards asked if I had ever been on a swim team after I was done with my workout. That started a conversation, and I was just standing there the whole time in my Speedo Solar. Also noticed it (Speedo) catches the attention of women in general.
