I like the design of it, making old cars can play your favorate songs. And I used it in 2 cars and found that the sound quality is different. This may be related to the car's player. Overall it is ok and deserves 12 dollars.

This converter is great for older cars. I use it to listen to music with a lot of bass and treble and haven't found any loss in quality from my music. I hear the cassette spinning as expected, but to me, it's hardly noticeable and not annoying at all. Definitely recommend!

Felt like I was taking a chance on an off brand name, but my name brand one only played one side of car speakers. I was surprised when I tried it. Much better sound quality than my other one. No static, cracking, and lets the bass come through quite well. And the 90 degree jack really helps when my kids pull it out, which is why my other onewas bad.

Six Stars! I was floored with the sound the first time I used this cassette adapter. If I could give it 6 stars I would. I have been looking for a way to add advertising free music and podcasts for road trips in my 2004 Mercedes (the radio has a fiber optic connection to the speaker amplifier and it is incompatible with any aftermarket radio). This adapter provides very clear sound. Many years ago I tried an adapter with an Ipod to an old minivan but the sound was very poor so I wasn't expecting too much and am so happy with the sound. My only down sides are related to the Iphone XS lack of headphone jack so I can't keep the phone on the charger while I'm using the cassette adapter. Will have to look as some of the split lightening adapters or maybe look at the Bluetooth version of the cassette adapter.

I've had no problems with this adapter. My tape player is sensitive, and other adapters would cause the player to switch sides over and over, making playing music impossible. The sound quality is great, as long as you control high volume through the radio, not the phone. Max volume on the phone will cause distortion through the adapter. Very pleased with this item.

Very well constructed, has wonderful sound quality, and was packaged carefully by the company. Great value for the money. I would eventually down the line like to try their Bluetooth version of this product, since this one has worked so well for me. I highly recommend this.

Works great! I have an early 2000’s car with a cassette tape relic. Up until a few days ago I was looking for a new car stereo receiver due to the absence of a USB port, SD card slot, AUX inlet or anything else in my car stereo that would facilitate the use of MP3 files. Unfortunately, no receiver properly fits my Audi. I called the Audi dealer and he recommended a cassette tape adapter. I was unfamiliar with such an item but ordered one from Amazon. Within 5 minutes of receiving the package, my car stereo was blasting the sounds of Pink Floyd from my phone through my car stereo. I’m very satisfied with the Arsvita cassette adapter.

Read through to the end! I purchased this cassette adapter to replace one of a different brand that died after a year's use. The one I replaced had a very thin cable, and the cable eventually broke and would not connect properly. This unit comes with a seemingly much sturdier cable, so I was hopeful when I saw it. I was disappointed that the unit would not produce suitable volume level, regardless of how it was placed in the tape player. I had to turn the volume way up, and therefore got a lot of background noise. The documentation provided with the product was very clear that they stand behind their products, and provided an email to contact the vendor. I did so, and they promptly replied with a promise to have a new unit out to me quickly. The new unit works perfectly, outputting higher-quality sound than the original unit that went bad. Looking forward to continued good output, hopefully lasting longer than my first adapter. Can't say enough for the customer service, though!

I was happy it operated quietly. The one I was replacing made all the mechanical noises as if it was playing a tape through reels which it doesn't need to do. This one didn't do that for me, it was mechanically quiet. Users must remember this is a pickup device, so you must (to have high quality sound and NO distortion) strike a balance between the TWO volume controls you are working with. Set the radio/tape player volume rather low, then raise the output volume on the device you are plugging this into as a sound source until you achieve a satisfactory sound. Raise either volume control too loud and you get distortion so back off on one or the other (and between the two I recommend tweaking your sound source's output volume to where when you change your radio volume it operates about the same range as if you were listening to a radio station), so it's imperative you find the right volume setting between the two devices you are asking to work together in using this technology. When you get those two volumes set just right, then you'll only need to tweak the radio's volume control to make the music or speech (if it's an audio book) the desired playback volume for your enjoyment in traffic conditions and road noise (windows down, etc.). Summary: if there's distortion, it's your fault.

This is the 3rd cassette adapter I've had. This is replacing my old one from Walmart that developed a short, which is quite common with cassette adapters after regular use. I like to use a cassette adapter in my older car for handsfree calls and to play music from my phone over my car speakers. I ordered two different brands expecting them to be about the same since the price was the same. I planned to use one and keep the other in case this one develops a short in the wire, as these products tend to do after some use. This Arsvita adapter had superior construction to the other new brand I ordered and the sound quality on the Arsvita blew the other one away. The sound with this one is louder, clearer, and has less noise than the other two brands and it seems far more substantial. The cord is thicker, the plug is larger and it feels well made. I'm returning the other one and I'll get another Arsvita if this one fails after some time.
