Works as it suppose to be.

It records very good result with sound. One button operation. Camera isn't that much visible from 1meter distance. Giving me battery hr as it's described. It would be great if it would be having WiFi to connect with phone and extract data. Instead copying sd card onto other device. But overall its working as it suppose to be， it works really well as a pen as well as a camera. When using the camera function I clip it in my top pocket so you get a real pov recording, it is like a mini go-pro.They also provide lits of spare ink which is great

Cool gadget

It is pretty cool gadget. I just got it for the fun of it. It comes with a charging cable, extra inks, and its in a nice little box. It has a a little instruction manual on how to use it. It takes a little practice to know how to use video and the camera functions. The camera is an ok quality but not that great. I the quality is better in the video mode than the picture mode. I only charged it once and it has been working for about a week now. I just though the design of the pen was a little big but overall, pretty cool gadget!

Power of the Pen

Pen Cam I tried this pen out just to see what it could do. The picture & video quality was better than I expected! Of course it's not going to be really sharp & very detailed but it is actually pretty awesome for it being a 'pen camera'. Compared to a cube nanny cam I tried out this was definitely easier in timestamp change, recording & handling. Transferring files seemed to be a bit quicker as well. (AVI video format) I noticed with the video it kinda does an auto adjustment from dark to bright which is useful when in shade or going from inside to outside. The pen camera came with INTERNAL storage (16gb but really 14.4gb after what is already in file before recording anything) which was very convenient ( could be advantage or disadvantage ) I don't think you can add a memory card to it. I couldn't find any input for sd card. It seems like it could hold up a good amount of video/pictures. I only had 31 items and the memory went from 14.4gb to 13.9gb most were pictures with a few videos lasting about 1 min. The 'Feel' of the pen does have a bit of weight to it than a normal pen but it actually does function as a pen so that's really cool. It came with 3 extra ink cartridges with 1 already inside so a total of 4! It really is easy to use just a recording mode and picture mode that's it! No extra steps that could be confusing to some who have not worked with spy/nanny cams before. Overall great product!

Great stealthy pen camera!

I purchased this as a means to record lectures and laboratory procedures. The camera quality is good for the 1080p resolution, and the microphone is good as well. The unit comes with advertised 16 GB storage, which mounts up at 14.4 GB. The lens of the camera is very stealthy and hard to spot, and has a built-in lens cover in the clip of the pen. Also, a small led on the opposite side will blink to indicate the time of the 5 10 or 15 minute recording loop. Setting the time and date settings is awkward, and the instructions can be a bit convoluted, but I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Worth the extra money.

This is much better then the cheaper one I got awhile ago. This one is compatible with our Mac book. One full charge of the battery last for a couple of hours of recording. The HD video is crystal clear. A led light will be on when it is charging the battery. It turn on the red LED light when it is recording but light can be covered up by slid the cover on the top of the led light. It switches to the photo mode easily by press the button twice on the top of the pen. It worth to spend 15 dollars more on this one.

Great hidden cam pen

This new Pen Camera is outstanding. At first glance it looks like a high quality pen. If you don’t know what you’re looking you’d pick up the pen and using it to write something never knowing it was also hidden camera (Yes it does write as well). It has new controls so once the camera is recording nothing is lit up. It takes great still photos as well as sharp videos in both 720 and 1080 resolution. It comes with a 16gb of storage, which is more then adequate. The battery is good for about an hour of continuous video. So which the battery needs recharging there is still room left and you can download the video and start all over again once the battery is recharged. Of course you don’t have to record continuously; you can put the camera into motion activated mode. It will only record when there is motion in front of the lens. When there is no movement the recording will stop. This will increase the length of time the camera will record. I’m including photos taken in indoors and outdoors as well as a video taken indoors, I would put an outdoor video as well but you can only post one video per review, so you can judge for yourself the quality of the video and photo

It is a real camera and pen that works！

It looks like a real pen with real ink that you can write. The button on top of pen switches the camera on. You twist open the pen and it reveals a usb where you just plug it into a computer like a usb drive to see your photos or videos. This Pen come « plug and play » , is easy to use and much more important, is credible. In video mode it records sounds as it has a microphone too! Overall it is a very cool gadget, to use with judgement.

Product as described, with a decent quality build and extra refills

Why I bought this? Grew up with James Bond movies and spy cameras, wanted to see myself how it feels/works. The product is basically a pen (heavier than usual) l, where the camera hole on top can be blocked or not with the help of a slider on the clamp. Pen can be opened from the middle to access the pen drive port and same can be used to charge as well as transfer videos on computer. The box had the pen (with 16gb SD card, pre installed), three refills (can be seen in the picture). The camera is hidden properly with the black background and pen build quality is good. Video quality is pretty good, considering small aperture of the camera. Overall a good product. (Haven’t tried the night vision mode, so can’t comment on that). Caution: one should have the consent before using and should abide by the state laws.
