Surprisingly happy with this unit
My old Keurig started to give me problems with the 2.0 DRM, not even recognizing pods I bought from Keurig.com so I started to look around for a new brewer that doesn't do this DRM nonsense anymore. I must admit, reading the reviews I ordered this unit with great trepidation, as I like my coffee hot, and quite a few comments indicated that this model delivers lukewarm coffee. Well, I can report now that my concerns were totally unwarranted. If anything, the coffee that comes out of my new brewer is HOTTER than the one before. I also thought I'd miss the touch panel, but frankly, the button based control panel is as easy to use as possible so good riddance to the old touch panel. This model doesn't have all the fancy features my old one had for different cup/mug sizes, carafe etc. But no big deal for me since Keurig inexplicably discontinued the mug sized pods (curse you, Keurig!!!), and we've used the carafe perhaps twice over the years. The spring-loaded mechanism for the pods is easier to use than in my previous model and looks sturdier. My only complaint is the water filter holder seems to sit very wobbly on its base in the water tank.

Great quality and options!
I like the different options on the K-Elite. It comes with a nice filter and the configuration is easy. The machine was easy figure out how to use and there are clear directions. The filter was easy to set to and install. You can make different sizes: 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12oz cups of coffee. It makes a cup of coffee in less than a minute from turning it on to brew time. You can set it to different temperatures; the ice coffee function is a good if you like iced coffee. I can taste the difference in the iced coffee taste compared to when I made one with my other Keurig. Hopefully I’ll have as many years with this one as my last one! I’d give it as a gift to someone! I was given my first Keurig as a gift and I used it every day so it was worth the gift I didn’t even knew I could use! Even a smaller one for someone if you need to spend less money. I’d give it five stars if it came with a replacement filter. I wish it would brew a cup when set to turn on in the morning. Then again, it would be dangerous if I forgot to put a cup under it. Update: December 7, 2018 I added pictures to show the space between the bottom of my cabinet. I could fit a K-Cup storage tray underneath the machine, and still have ample space to open the top and insert a K-Cup. I used to keep my K-Cups in a tall basket with my other Keurig until I cleaned out my “junk drawer.” I’m able to fit 50 K-Cups inside my drawer! I think the only other way to store so many K-Cups, would be to stack the storage drawers under the K-Elite. I saved some money and I don’t have a storat drawer underneath it! I always try to buy my K-Cups on sale, plus, I love not using my lower cabinet to store my K-Cup boxes! I think the set up looks neater when they are in my drawer rafter than on the counter! It’s a money saver and win for me, as well as anyone who does it the same way! I changed my rating to 5 stars because every day I learn more about the K-Elite! **I will try it with an espresso K-Cup and update this review. *I will try to add a short video to show you the amount of time it takes to brew from pressing the turning on to when the coffee is in the cup. -If anyone is interested, I would be glad to make a video to demonstrate making an iced coffee in a video. ~*~ I hope my review was helpful for you!

Works great. This model has the smallest cup size available ...
Works great. This model has the smallest cup size available of all the Keurig makers, and therefore the strongest, most concentrated cup of coffee. You can always make a weaker cup by making the cup larger = using more water. Love having a perfectly fresh cup every time.

So far so good!
Only had this a few weeks but, I’m very happy with this new Keurig. Hopefully it lasts longer than my Keurig 2.0! I love that it has a 12 oz cup option.

Good and Fast
I have had Keurigs in the past and and was not impressed. We have an older one-cup one in our motorhome and it is SLOOOOOW. My getting-up time is erratic. I want my coffee RIGHT NOW when I get up, and I didn't want a coffee water heater going for hours when I don't get up until 10 or 11. Also I wanted a big reservoir and I didn't want one that required multiple cycles to shut off the descale light! So I checked a dozen different review sources (including Amazon) and learned that there is no K-cup coffee maker out there with uniformly good reviews in all areas. The best seem to be the Keurig K-55 and the Keurig Elite. So reluctantly, I went back to the Keurig. Well, I am thrilled with the Elite. It is FAAAAAST! The coffee is tasty. The silver one is lovely. The only minor downside it that is a little noisy, but even that got better after a dozen or so cups. Now if only it proves to be durable. If it dies prematurely, I'll update this review, but for now everyone in the house is very happy with it.

Makes a delicious cup of coffee!
Really liking this Keurig Elite. Easy to set up and use. Makes great coffee, tea, cocoa. Strong brew option for those mornings when I need an extra boost. 75 ounce carafe is plenty big enough. I got the brushed silver which goes well with the other stainless appliances in my kitchen. Accepts all k cups as well as refillable ones. So far, so good. If things change I’ll update my review.

Way better than our 6 year old K75
Our 6 year old K75 died recently. The typical with those, the air pump went out on it. So I looked into the new ones and went with the Elite. I read several reviews that said it made weak coffee even with the strong brew setting turned on. There were way more positive reviews, so I pulled the trigger and went for it. I can't help but think that the people that left the reviews saying the coffee was weak, were trying to brew a travel mug size with a single coffee pod. I'll explain why I think this further into the review. First, lets talk about the physical aspects of this machine. Quality seems to be much higher than on our old one. It just feels more solid, the bale is actually made of metal on the Elite, it was plastic on the K75. It's smooth operating and just feels solid. The water reservoir is larger and has a much better sliding attachment system. Very easy to get on and off. The drip tray is not as tall, so you can get taller mugs under it without removing the drip tray, and if you do have to remove it, it's quick and easy. No water reservoir on the left side to get int the way anymore. So I feel the design if far superior to that of the K75, at least on the outside. Now, as far as how well the Elite brews coffee. Absolutely phenomenal cup of coffee. Best we have had from a Keurig ever! So, let me preface this a little bit. We personally don't use the coffee pods, as we don't like to contribute to plastic in the landfill if we don't have to. We get whole bean coffee and grind it fresh with a high quality burr grinder and use the "My K-Pod". This actually has two fill lines for coffee grounds. One for normal size mugs and one for travel mugs. My wife and I like our coffee strong, and we use a dark roast, so we filled the My K-Pod with coffee to just below the travel mug size. Set the Keurig Elite to strong brew and then selected the largest mug size, which says it's 10oz. This made a really good, strong, full flavored cup of coffee. Far, far better than our old K75 could do. We did the same with our K75, even selected a smaller cup size and couldn't get anywhere near the strength that we are getting with the Keurig Elite. I wasn't happy about having to buy a new coffee maker, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. We are very very happy with the purchase. You won't be disappointed with this, especially if you like to grind your own coffee. So, this leads me to think that maybe some of the people that left one star reviews were using normal coffee pods, possibly using a light or medium roast, and selecting a large cup size. Of course, I don't know this for sure, but then one star reviewers rarely put any detail into their reviews. It's one star and one sentence. If you want good coffee, grind it fresh with a good quality grinder and use the My K-Pod. This gives you control over freshness, grind quality, and you can put in more grounds than a standard K-Cup. Follow the instructions, don't grind the coffee too fine, don't overfill and don't compress the coffee grounds. You should be able to shake the My K-Pod and hear them moving inside, (make sure you have the lid on when you do this). If you can't get a good cup of coffee out this, then you are doing something wrong.

I'm so happy with this coffee maker its a dream
Ordered My Keurig k- elite a few weeks ago. I thought I was one of the last hold outs to buy one. Most of my family has the Keurig and not the k-elite. I'm so happy with this coffee maker its a dream. No more coffee down the drain because I made to much for one person. I can set my temp up for hotter coffee and because of its compact design It will open under my counter without pulling it out. It also hold close to 72 ounce's of water so less filling it up.. I'm happy I waited to get one because I love the new K-Elite. MS

Love this Keurig!
This one replaces another that stopped functioning properly! Spouse and I really like this one. Though I seldomly drink coffee, I love the 'my k-cup' feature because it brews well and coffee tastes fabulous! A happy camper customer! The carafe holds a lot of water. I recommend this Keurig K-Elite.

Received undamaged, and made first test cup of coffee. Quieter than my other Keurig 55 unit. Waited for a good sale before purchase. Very pleased with this new unit and will return here for a follow up once I had it for a month or so. Heard good reviews of this so hope for the long term.
