Love these trays

I've been using mine for a couple of weeks now and I love them. Not sure why people say they are hard to get the ice out as I've had no problems at all. They are pretty flexible and the cubes come out nice and easy one at a time, which is good for me. Love the covers, keeps everything nice and neat. So far I have not experienced any after taste from the silicone as with other ice cube molds or trays. For now I highly recommend these.

No better ice cube delivery system in all the Universe. Period. I live in the boonies, with pretty darned lousy water. Don't much cotton to bottled water. Every other ice tray I've bought? They don't work. Cubes stick to the tray. Total disaster. Glacio Trays? Total happy! No stick. Just wonderful perfect cubes. Yay! Thank you, Glacio!

A simple easy product that works as described by the vendor.

I’ve been looking from a product like this for a long time and these trays did not disappoint. Unlike similar ice trays found in retail stores, ice cubes come out easily whether your need 2 or the whole tray. The soft silicone material adds to ease of use. There is also a tray cover to keep other odors from contaminating and they can be used to carry the trays to the freezer. I’m buying 2 more.

Back up cubes for in-door ice dispenser chest.

Need ice cube back up for a French door refrigerator which has a very small ice cube chest in the door. Frequently can run out. Will only handle smaller cubes. These cubes work. Easy to unload. Only used once after rinsing out a few times and the cubes do take a little more time to freeze than a plastic tray.. But the cubes run right through the ice cube dispenser even though they are slightly more cubed than the round bottom ones the ice maker makes. And they are so much easier to dump that the twisting plastic trays.

Better than plastic

I ordered two of these ice trays and I'm very happy with them. I ran them twice in the dishwasher and no weird taste. They are easy to fill and easy to remove ice from tray. I really like the lids they come with, they are multi-purpose. The lids keep your ice clean, add strength to the tray after filling, and to keep the trays from freezing to each other when stacked. I like the size of the one inch square cubes a lot better, they stack better in my glasses. I'm ready to let go of my plastic ice trays.

I love torture

Great product... but there's really no getting around spilling water all over the place before it actually gets into the freezer. I am possibly mentally challenged, but if you can manage to get it into your freezer without getting water all over the place, it works great. You're essentially filling something super rubbery and flimsy with water, then taking said item and are challenged to get it in the freezer. May you have great luck on your journey.

Ice UnderCover

I dislike not having ice when I want it and I dislike using ice cubes made from tap water even more, so the community room where I live is out of the equation. And those big bulky bags of ice is so cumbersome and take up so much room in a small freezer and there is noway to keep the bag closed. And....wait for it..............Tah! Dah! Glacio Ice Cube Trays to solve the ice cube dilemna. They make the perfect ice cubes, I can make them from bottle water and they come with there own cover. 1. There Small. 2. They are covered and 3. I can stack them. Awesome.

Developed a strong odor

I like these trays. Having a cover makes it easier to place them in the freezer as I can put other frozen foods on top of them. I like the size of the cubes. So far, so good. I have a little hint, if you fill them with water that has previously been heated, you get a clearer cube, with less bubbles. But wait until the water has cooled. I have only used them now for a month or so, but they are holding up fine. I've been using these for over a month now, and they have developed an odor. I've sprinkled them with baking soda over night, still smelled, added vinegar for the day, still smelled, soaked in bleach solution overnight, still smelled, washed in dishwasher, still smell, but maybe a bit less. I filled with water and stuck it in the freezer. I'll see if its changed. The smell doesnt seem to change the taste of my drink, but the ice cubes don't taste great by themselves.

Makes nicely shaped ice cubes that are easy to remove from the tray.

These silicone ice cube trays work so much better than plastic ones. They make perfect shaped cubes that don't break when you remove them from the tray. You simply push them out from the back... the cubes don't stick to the silicone. The tray lids are a nice touch too. No problems with the seller... arrived on time. Very nice.

easy to use, love the lids

These are great trays, the ice slides out easily and the lids are great for keeping hte ice fresh. I make champagne and flavored ice cubes that may sit in the freezer for some time. The lids keep the cubes fresh. A tip: Use the lids as trays under the ice trays when you fill them with water and put them in the freezer, then put the lids on after the water becomes ice. The trays are very flexible silicone so they may flop and spill when you put water in them if nothing is underneath them.
