This is a great camera
I don’t know if anyone has researched these type cameras as much as I have, and I also own a different Reolink 5.0 Camera, but this one is perfect. From out of the box it was 1-2-3. Very easy, follow the directions and although the set up directions are minimal, here’s the easy steps. Set up the app on your phone, follow the steps in the direction packet and voice prompts. PLEASE INSTALL YOUR MICRO SD CARD BEFORE STARTING SET UP. Micro SD must be FAT32 format and not over 64GB. One set up, attach the optional solar panel. This is genius...no more getting up on a ladder to take down and charge batteries. Once set in place, download the Reolink Client app on your laptop. I have Windows 10 and follow these instructions. Once installed, once you click add camera, do not use the IP Address, change it from the drop down to UID. Add UID number to top info. You then select User Name and Password info and click Connect to LAN. That should do it.

Great for remote areas
We have 2 of these out for remote areas where we have a directions WIFI antenna and they work great. We got the solar panel as well that you can buy for these and that keeps the battery at 100% pretty much all the time. Picture is good and tech support has been very helpful.

This camera was super easy to install right out of the box. The WiFi connection is a great plus and makes it super convenient to use. I would highly recommend it.

Blind Driveway Monitor
After a few close calls pulling out of my driveway I purchased this to monitor traffic before I pull out. I was a little worried about the Wi-Fi range since I have it mounted on a tree 40ft from my Access Point, but the signal comes in super strong. For true wireless I purchased a reolink solar panel. Both were super easy to set up 30ft up a tree. I'll be testing this well below the 14f specs since Vermont winters are harsh but it handled the freezing rain like a champ.

Great camera.
Love this camera. I bought so I could see what our neighbors are doing in our backyard. I travel around the country and love to be able to see what's going on at my house. Needs a good wi-fi connection to work properly. Easy to install and to hook up. Requires an sd card.

Excellent quality watching my driveway, walkup entrance.
Have had this installed for about a month and am really enjoying the PIR function! Strangers, vendors, delivery personnel all get their picture taken and I get advanced warning. Also discovered my cat running around outside! Was pleased to find that I didn't have to make permanent holes in the outside of my rented house as this camera had "straps" for installing around trees, pipes, etc. Chose a location on a downspout that provided a good angle and is out of reach/sight of vandals. Weather proof as we have gotten some severe raining and snow since installed. The charge has lasted at least a month in this medium traffic area running just on battery. Other battery REOlink cameras are running for much longer with the PIR disabled and just using when I want to drop in on places. I have 8 REOlink cameras and am very pleased with the Mac OSX client and the iOS clients on my iPhone and iPad.

Best purchase I've made in some time...
I really could not ask for more. I debated video cameras for years, but they were still at the wired stage... and you setup a whole house, it'll get expensive to maintain and run. I purchased 2 of these cameras to cover both my front doors, and sides of the house. My original placement of camera one, I discovered some limitations, as the field of view isn't really wide enough for that alcove. Simple fix. Moved it, so it covers the door from a different angle. Actually works out better, as I can see the entire walkway now. Last night, after dark and moving the camera, I could just barely make out a truck across the street. Which is pretty good range, in the dark. HD video is nice and crisp. Settings are numerous. Takes a few tries to get the trigger set correctly to record, otherwise you're getting every car that passes by. But, you can do all of it from the app. After a day, I saw the value of the solar panels. With just regular use, triggering when someone is in your yard, etc... you'll get a week or more, of battery life. Luckily, I have a roof that is clear across E, S, W. Purchased the panels as well, True wireless coverage. Will be buying more.

The best performance for the money. Reliable.
I bought 4 of these cameras along with solar panels. I decided to use sd cards as I didnt feel the need for cloud storage. These cameras work great. The picture and audio quality are excellent. They do require a strong wifi signal and once I optimized the placement of my repeater/access point it provided good stability for a connection. The PIR settings for motion detection take some trial and error to get dialed in. If it's too high it will constantly record too low and it wont capture anything. The solar panel is the coolest add on however you need to survey your installation location to ensure there is enough sunlight to charge. I highly recommend these as they are relatively maintenance free once you set them up in the optimal location viewing and solar panels in optimal sunlight.
