Great camera for reasonable price. Fantastic customer service.

Purchased to monitor interactions between my elderly mother and caregiver. Instructions for installation were easy to follow. Important to make sure your 2.4ghz WiFi is on and has a unique name. Comcast assigns same name to both bands. You must go into your router settings and change. Once you select the 2.4ghz band the installation goes without any problems. Picture quality is great and night vision is adequate considering the price of this camera. Two way verbal communication is possible but you must speak clearly and slower than usual since it works like a walkie talkie with a push to talk function. The app is free and easy to use once you try different functions. Only glitch I had was the SD card was not being recognized by the camera. The problem was quickly solved via online chat. Turns out I missed updating the firmware, also easily handled thru the app. Overall I feel this camera exceeded my expectations, especially considering the reasonable price. Cloud service is available but not necessary. I installed a 128gb SD card. Set notifications to silent on iPhone and can easily view event on app. Would recommend this camera for anyone in need of monitoring a pet, a baby, or the elderly.

Unbeatable at this price point

This orb camera is great quality. It captures good daylight video and decent night video. The motion sensors are customizable and very sensitive if needed. The app interface is user friendly and easy to understand, and setup took minutes. The speaker for 2 way voice can get loud enough to make an intruder believe someone is right there. Please note that storage will require a micro USB or their cloud service, which is also very affordable. I will be purchasing a second one!

Disappointed....NEW REVIEW

Completely useless at night. I need to check on my animals when they go outside. There is nothing but reflection. I am returning it. .......got it going without the reflection. Works great, just like my other. VERY HAPPY!!!!

So far it’s great. Inexpensive, rather easy to set up, the app is user friendly. The image quality is decent, the talk through feature is cool. Doesn’t require a subscription that I know of. I’ve only had it for a day so I can’t speak to the longevity of it. Comes with a mounting bracket too if that’s your thing.

Great puppy cam

When I received my orb cam, I had no problems setting it up. The step by step directions through the app made installation a breeze. The picture quality and range looks good so far. I’m looking forward to being able to keep an eye on my pups when I’m at work. I just purchased a microSD card for local storage, but I'm also considering purchasing the yearly cloud subscription so I can access the videos more easily on my phone. So far so good.

crisp image, easy setup, Alexa is happy with it !!

I was researching cloud cameras compatible with Alexa when I cam across Netvue, I tried the Amazon cloud cam, and the Netvue pet camera, almost same performance, BUT, major price difference, and the Netvue has the Pan/Tilt function Extra. this is my second Netvue camera. the setup is a breeze, just download the app, follow the steps, no complications, no drama. there is a minor lag when you check the Video, but, I found that all cloud cams have this, Alexa is Happy with Netvue, and finds it very fact, the image quality is EXCELLENT, the pan/tilt speed is very fast, and the Audio is GREAT. the 2 way audio function is REALLY working, I have many IP camera that were supposed to have 2 way audio, but didn't have it, well, this one does, and it is clear. I am going also to purchase the netvue Home camera, I need a small sized Camera for the car.

Setup was easy, I added it to my my netvue app with my other netvue cameras without any issues. I was a bit hesitant that the picture would be so clear through the window but it looks great, I am able t ok see very clearly with it. The only thing I recommend when using wifi cameras is changing your default network settings for the utmost security.

Just purchased second Netvue Orb!

I purchased my first Netvue cam in 2018 to use as a "kid" monitor for when I want to check on our child whose bedroom is on the other side of the house. The app software has updated several times over the months and each time, the camera system becomes more useful and stays relevant. I'm excited to add this cam to my app as we expand our line of cameras.

Great Camera

I just received my camera and hooked it up myself. I am a 79 year old young lady. It had a video on line to show you how to hook it up, which I really liked. I downloaded the netvue app and followed the instructions. It gets a great picture. I hooked it up to my echo show and it works great. I highly recommend this camera.

Best product

The camera works great! The picture quality is great and works well in low light condition too. When I panned through the phone, the video can adapts to the lighting condition and make it clear anytime! I can watch over my dog when he is alone at home. Love that the camera can be panned through the phone. My dog has separation anxiety so when I go to work he used to chew on a lot of things. Now I can see him through the camera and with the two-way audio I can speak to him. He is confused where the sound is coming form but it distracts him and he stops chewing. I would surely recommend this and I'm getting one more."
