Solid build and Quality for a Solid Price

I have been searching for a barking collar that would help with training my 8 month old Belgian Malinois. I was told by other people that those type of dogs required a special barking collar that cost roughly 350 dollars. I was like no thanks and my search continued. I began my Amazon search and came across this brand Dog Care which had phenomenal reviews. I decided to go with it and opted for the more sleeker model and let me tell you it does not disappoint. The remote is very lightweight and feels well built. The functions are user friendly and accurate. The remote allows for three receivers to be controlled by one remote which is awesome. The button are bold and very easy to identify from sound, vibrate and shock. The receiver is solid and well built. The reviver and remote bolt have micro USB ports for easy charging. Battery life will last you a long time because you will only use it as needed which is great. I have only had to use the shock feature on my dog once and I had it on setting 4 of 99. It is very responsive and they feel it immediately. The beeping and vibrate feature do the trick for the most part. I have began to incorporate the beeping sounds to refresh my dog on her obedience training and it is working. The only thing I would like to see on a future model is for the strap to be more of a belt with eyelets to ensure the strap stays secure. I highly recommend this barking collar for any size dog, you will not be disappointed. So before you purchase a 300 dollar collar try Dog Care first.

This collar is amazing! We have a Chihuahua and a Jack Chi! They both can be aggressive. I am so impressed with the behavior improvements since we started using this collar. If my dog wanders from my sight a simple tone will bring him right in. This helps with barking as well. I feel like I have much better control of my dogs when they’re off leash!!

Awesome collar I appreciate that the controls give you the option to escalate to allow you to use the lowest amount of corrective action as possible, having to shock your best friend for each indiscretion is over kill more than likely buying another one

Great Product!

Great product! Rechargeable batteries for both the collar and remote (one charging cable, but you can use a fast charging plug to fully charge in about an hour). I like that you can turn off the collar to save battery life. Fits our 7 lb, 14 lb, and 17 lb dogs perfectly! Like that it has a locking feature on the remote. Product can on time. Purchasing process was seamless.

Awesome Training Collar! Love it!

I recently purchased this training collar as a last resort to help me with behavioral issues with my dog. I have a approximate one year old Shepard/Hound mix that we rescued from a local animal shelter. Being a rescue, we did not know the dogs background or training history. My dog would not listen to basic commands and would try to run off away from us as soon as she got the chance. Within one hour of training with the assistance of this training collar, my dog was listening to all my commands. I only had to resort to using the shock stimulation option twice which scared her more than it hurt her when she took off down through the woods and would not listen. I love that there is a beep and a vibrate warning option which my dog picked up on right away. Now if she get to far away from me, I just push the beep button and she immediately looks for me and comes right to me. Now, after a little more training outside, she comes to my commands without me having to do anything with the training collar. This training collar is awesome and was worth it's weight in gold! I am so glad I bought it.

The Best Dog Training Collar!

This is the second dog training collar I've bought in the past six months, and it by far surpasses the other one! The receiver isn't too big, which is great for my smaller dog, but my daughter has the same one on a large dog and is just as happy with it. On the other hand, the remote is bigger than others, and that's great, too. It's much easier to keep up with, and it locks so you aren't accidentally beeping or shocking your dog. So far, I am a very happy customer! Update: the collar won’t stay turned on! It stays on and works great for about 10 minutes, and then nothing. And, it’s fully charged. Very disappointed.

Works Quick! 2 Hrs!

I have a 75 lb 1 year old Ridgeback that was terrorizing my older dogs. So I thought I would give this a shot after trying just about every other training technique. This is all I did and withing 2 hours she is obeying just the beep tone. Step 1- Charged Devices Step 2- Fitted Collar Step 3- Tried shock on my arm and set sensitivity setting. Please check this I thought 85% was way to high and ended up on only 10 percent. Step 4- Each time she charge the other dogs I hit a beep then shock. Took 3 times and she did not go near them. 45 min later I turned just used the beep, skipped the vibration mode all together, and she backs off each time. For the price I thought the quality was nice as well. What a relief. I look forward to further training her now knowing I have this tool.

Nice item very happy

This training collar is an excellent buy. Nice item and price point. I have a 14 week old puppy and was concerned that the collar unit would be too big for him. After adjusting the length of the collar (which is quite long), I put it on Rigley and he had no problem with it. I left plenty of extra collar webbing so that I can trim adjust it as he grows. In the provided picture he is wearing the unit with the collar untrimmed yet. I just folded it back and threaded it through the fitting to hold the tag ends until I ready to trim it. So this picture may make the collar look extra bulky. Using the unit was very easy to understand and operate. The control unit unit works at a good distance from the collar so there is no need to be very close of a correction needs to be sent. Controlling the shock level was also quite easy. The collar comes with long prongs for the collar which I am sure is needed for longer hair dogs but I think I could have used a set or shorter prongs had they been included. The collar attaches to the remote unit much like a watch band would attach to a watch, with pins. I think an improvement to the unit would be to make it so that you can use other collars on the remote unit if you choose. I am so far very happy with the overall purchase and with the cost of the item. I am happy with the way my puppy is reacting to wearing it as well as how he reacts to the different typed of warnings it provides -Beep, vibrate, shock. I would purchase again

Great styling and size. The strap while basic is highly adjustable.

Great product with good styling without being too large for smaller dogs. Don't let it's small size fool you, testing it on myself this collar packs a wallop of a shock. Luckily my dog responds well to the vibrate while the shock would be useful for emergencies when you really need their attention. Worked right out of the box. This specific model does not display the receiver's battery level on the remote. The collar is totally adjustable and with a little effort can be made smaller without permanently removing alot of the strap. All the features of the store brands at less than half the price.
