Nicely packaged in degisned box

Plugged it in, followed the Quick Start instructions included and it was super easy to setup. I have shared this camera with my family. I am on android and she is on OS Apple. She made her own account but didn't add the camera. I created my account and added the camera on my android. I used the share button and added her email address, she logged back in. We can both view the cam at the same time with no issues across both platforms. The sharing part was not really covered in the start up leaflet but maybe covered elsewhere. I have actually not used any of instructions beyond the quick setup guide, it is that easy. There's a slightly lag- it might be 1~2 seconds. If your network is not so good, change the image quality from HD to SD. The video would be smooth. Picture quality and pan and tilt/zoom controls work perfectly, the camera even comes with a mounting bracket and screws. The two way audio is excellent, and was easily to hold a conversation with the one in the kitchen while testing, I have installed the unit in the kitchen to monitor the dogs while I am working, everything has just worked first time with no issues, very impressed.

Excellent camera. I'm very happy with it overall. Simple, easy to use, great picture, great sound, night vision works perfectly. Full 360 degree rotation is am awesome feature I didn't really expect from such an affordably priced camera. Best of all, the app is excellent too and I have it set to send me a notification every time it detects sound or motion. Top notch security, I intend to buy more to compete my security system.

Definitely worth buying

The little camera does exactly what the description says it does. It's simple to set up and operate. Download the App to my mobile, create my account, plug in the camera, add the camera following the instructions, and I am able to view and control on my mobile phone. Noted that it only supports 2.4Ghz band. For dual bands, check if the 2.4Ghz is separate from 5Ghz. I bought it to keep an eye on our cats while away from home. I get notifications when movement or sound is detected. Playback video on the mobile is awesome. If I found something interesting recorded, I share it to social media or save it to my mobile. Never miss a moment. The camera provides clear views in good resolution. When light is low or night falls, the view is black and white. The cool feature is that I can talk through the mobile App to anyone who is in room where the camera is located. I can talk to family or scare unexpected intruder away. I will use my microSD card for recording when the free 30-day cloud service expires. If you have a loose budget, you can pay for the cloud service as it offers more functions. And the support said that one-year cloud service will enable the Alexa function.

easy to use

The camera arrived in a simple, small box, with key technical features printed. Inside the box, there’re a camera, a power cable and adapter, a bracket and a set of screws for wall mounting, and a quick guide. I followed the instructions on the quick guide. First, download the mobile App. It was easy and installed without any problems. Next, create an account. Signed up with an email and create a password. So far, so good. Then I plugged in the camera. After about 30s, the camera emitted a voice that “Please configure camera by scanning code or AP hotspot.’’ Then I started to add the camera on the App. Several minutes later, I was able to get the camera view on my mobile. Tips for adding the camera successfully: 1. Make sure that connecting the 2.4Ghz WiFi. 2. Make sure that camera and router are near with each other. 3. Align the QR code to camera lens. 4. Make sure to peel off the protective film on the camera so that you can get a clear view. It is an indoor camera. I installed it in the living room. I could see the whole room and control the camera rotation on the App. The camera sent notification when it detected motion. I checked the video which showed the event with audio and reasonably clear video. The interesting part is that there’s an intelligent tracking function. I customized my device to turn off when it’s private time. I tried out the two-way speaker / microphone function, and found that also worked well. At night, the night vision IR sufficiently lit up the large room allowing me to view any motion events easily. During the day, enough light gets into the room to illuminate any motion events as well. It was easy to set up and satisfies my demand at a low cost.

Easy to set up, and great quality camera! It's perfect for what I need!

I purchased this security camera because of a recent experience with someone damaging property in my backyard. I knew I would feel so much safer if I had a camera. This one stood out to me because it is very affordable and has great reviews, but my final decision to buy it was made because I am able to view it at any time on my phone. The prime shipping was amazing as it always is. When I opened the box I was surprised to see all of the accessories it came with. I was nervous that it would be difficult to set up but it was actually very simple. I downloaded the required app and went to the "add device" feature and selected the smart camera option. Once I did that it prompted me for my wifi password. I connected to wifi, held the camera's reset button down, and then held the code on my phone in front of the camera. It beeped quickly to let me know that it read the code and then the camera connected to both my wifi and my phone. It was ready to use right away and I had fun trying out all of the cool features. I love the HD quality and night vision because those are obviously very important features. The ability to zoom in and out and move the camera around from my phone is really nice as well. Another great feature that I wasn't even aware that it had when I ordered it is the ability to speak through the microphone. I am away from home a lot and if I see that someone is on my back deck again, I can use the microphone feature. The volume of the microphone is surprisingly loud. My boyfriend had fun testing it out.

Works better than expected for an inexpensive camera!

Purchased this camera as I don’t have hundreds of dollars to spend on a WI-FI camera. I am pleasantly surprised by the quality! Directions were easy to follow once I figured out the reset button was a tiny button on the front of camera. It records both video and sound, and you can move the camera direction from inside the app. My son absolutely loves playing with it, and he keeps trying to secretly record me. With my WiFi; I did have to be keep the camera in the same room as the WiFi box, but I didn’t expect it to be a perfect camera at 1/4 to 1/5 the cost of some cameras. All in all, I’m happy with my purchase. The pic posted is a screen shot of what I see on my app when I open it.

Love it

I was looking for a cheap camera with two way speaker so that I could correct my dogs behaviors while I was away due to my neighbors complaining of barking. I was a bit nervous that it wouldnt help but it has passed my expectations. The camera sends me notifications if it senses movement or sound, which is convenient for me as I dont have to watch the camera the whole time. The nightvision works really well also. The stream is a bit jumpy but works well if in an area with good service. I highly recommend this item if in need of a cheap security camera.

Amazing quality - talk to kids too

This product works amazing! I have two boys at home after school and this makes it really easy to log in to see what they're first doing when I arrive. My friend had purchased one to watch her house while she was out on vacation and I fell in love with the quality. I had a small issue with declining a service before I knew more about it, and the company fixed it right away. They reached out and made it simple to get things moving. I, by far, recommend this to everyone. You can move the camera, and the zoom is still clear and detailed.
