When the fingerling arrived I had my two year old open the package. When she seen what I am assuming is a cheetah she became super excited. She handed me the box for opening which was super easy not one of those need to break out a hack saw to get into. There is one plastic thing around the neck that if you turn it over just clip it with a pair of scissors and it’s done. The little friend it come with just popped right out with a push with a thumb from the backside. Once I got it out she went “so cute mommy”. Right off the back I notice this is different from the fingerlings my niece has. This one hair lights up and she’s glittery I mean come on who doesn’t like things with glitter on them. Best of all as of now this glitter has yet to start flaking off all over her or the house. My daughter has been playing with it for about two hours give take. She’s threw it off the top of her princess castle stuffed it in a shopkins and little people’s bus put it down her puppy dog pals tree house slide and had it play with her woody and princess Sofia plush dolls. Now she’s sitting in her Winnie the Pooh chair with it next to her looking at a barnyard animals book. As of now huge A+. Highly recommend to people who’s little girls like finglerlings they are going to extremely pleased with this one. Update: After a couple days of playtime I've notice flakes of glitter on her hands and the floor but its not a huge amount of glitter loss maybe 20 or so flakes. There is still a ton of glitter on the Fingerling so I would still recommend this to anyone who has a little girl that likes the Fingerlings.

My daughter loves this Fingerling! She is a cat lover so she loves how this one looks and the fact that it purrs. She thinks the baby tiger is adorable. I am impressed at how well the baby tiger stays on the larger one’s tail. I was worried it would get lost quickly but it really does stick on to the tail well. The tiger is pretty similar to other Fingerlings in how you interact with it. If you are new to Fingerlings they have sensors that change how it reacts, like touching it’s cheek or petting its hair. She loves how the hair lights up and changes colors. This is a great gift for a tiger fan and a fun edition to the Fingerlings line.

My kids wanted to get a pet, but I’m not ready for that kind of commitment yet. My kids enjoy playing with this interactive lion figure set. They say it’s like having a real pet to take care of and play with. This WowWee Fingerlings set comes with 2 adorable lions, Sam and Leo. Sam is the larger lion figure. He is animated, and responds to motion and touch. He blinks his eyes, turns his head, and purrs. His tuft of hair lights up, according to his “mood”. He is able to detect your cheek to give you a “kiss”. Petting him, rocking him, holding him upside down, and kissing him, will elicit different reactions from Sam. You can also rock him to sleep. It’s really cute how he hangs onto your finger, and interacts with you. Sam comes with a mini cub named Leo. Leo is much smaller than Sam. He’s a tiny plastic figure that is not interactive, but he’s very cute and can hang onto Sam’s tail.

Our daughter has several fingerlings including the classic monkey and a dragon, so she was excited to try these new cat fingerlings. Tilly the tiger is cute and comes with a little cub also, the smaller cub isn't interactive but my daughter loves playing with it alongside its mama tiger. These fingerlings are slightly shorter than the other ones which all seemed to use the same form factor but the smaller form factor may be better for kids with smaller hands. The light up hair is a neat feature which I haven't seen on other toys of this type before. Fingerlings are generally similar to other electronic character toys like hatchimals, pomsies, wrapples, etc.. but they seem to be a bit more robustly designed than the other mentioned toys. Both of our other fingerlings are over 2 years old and still work perfectly to this day, whereas most of the others only last a few months before they start glitching up or break entirely in our experience.

I have a children of both genders aged 4 through 12 and they all love Fingerlings. Our current collection consists of monkeys and dinosaurs , a sloth, a dragon and a panda along with play sets for them to live on. The addition of the cat line is brilliant and a huge hit, especially with my 11 year old. These cats are puuuurrrrfectly adorable in my daughter's eyes. Where I tend to see the black and white half closed eyes as a drunk skunk, she sees her darling cat with the coy eyelids adding to the cuteness factor. To each his or her own. In general these toys are well constructed -- we have played with our existing ones for almost two years, at least weekly (at one point they served as our table centerpiece) with no breakage or dead batteries. I have no reason to believe this would last any less. The hair does light up different colors, meaning it reminds me less of a skunk when it is actually on an being used. I do find the little kitten cuter although it gets less play time due to not being electronically interactive in any way. There are some minor differences in design when compared to the more common monkeys. When you turn it on (switch is located at the back of the head) it always greets you with a purrry hello. I actually find the babbling chatter and kisses more intelligible than the other Fingerlings. The tail features the same curve which allows you to hang as the monkeys do, but it is shorter and less flexible so it is a little more limiting in that regard. At the same time, the shorter tail allows her to sit without assistance on flat surfaces. Her paws are a different structure so they are perfect for her to hang on things (like the rim of a cup or bowl) but don't stop her from perching on the child's finger as her predecessors can. One plus is that the glitter does not appear to shed. A prior Fingerling (ahem I'm talking to YOU unicorn!) shed glitter everywhere and was short lived in my house. A definite plus. All in all, we are an easy sell as my kids love Fingerlings and play with them like other kids play with Barbies. But I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this or purchase it for my nieces myself.

Please make certain that you are not thinking this is going to be like the movie. This is a black panther, not the comic hero movie or characters. Now that I did my due diligence in that regard let me tell you how cute this little Fingerling really is. I've bought a few Fingerlings in the past and my kids enjoyed them about as much as I expected. When I saw this one I like the baby it had with the package and thought it was really cute so I purchased it and hoped if my kids didn't want it I'd find a place for it to live. That was not an issue. This is so cute. It has glitter that is somehow perhaps made or mixed into the plastic because there is no glitter flaking off, but there is lots of sparkle. It is a nice contrast to the midnight black color that is the base color. Then, my favorite part of this little toy is the tiny little baby it has. I think this Fingerling might be slightly smaller or maybe just more dainty or slim than the original Fingerlings. I find that this is preferable because it seems easier to handle for the kids and also hangs very easily in the different positions, even from their smaller hands. I am almost certain the ones before were a bit bulky and didn't change position as easily. I think this is really cute and most kids of the recommended age would enjoy this.

My little grandson went crazy over this toy! It really is cute. It took me a second to figure out how to turn it on. It ha an on and off button on the back of the head. I turned it on and he knew immediately what to do. He shook it, pet it and talked to it. Different colored lights started dancing and it starts making noises. This one has a little tiger friend. I put the little friend up because it was just a bit too small to give him to play with safely. He'll get it soon though. If he gets anything on it, a damp cloth will wipe it off. This is a really fun toy and I think other kids will enjoy it too. Kids seem to love noise makers. It feels durably built and like it will last a long time. Highly recommend if you want a child in your life to get the giggles.

Apparently, according to my wife, that means "Adorable". My wife also let out a little sqwee at the little baby tiger this tiny tiger has as it's pet. Yes, my wife love to get these and try them out, then they go in a big box for visiting nieces and nephews 9so we can be the "cool" Aunt & Uncle). It makes all sorts of cute little noises and moves around quite a bit, a fun little finger pet. Purrs, says hello, likes being petted, and hung upside down, etc. Quite entertaining and the cats were amused too. The only think she said was bad was the glitter on the paws and she said that stuff gets EVERYWHERE!

My daughter got her first Fingerling a few months ago so we were familiar with this toy line. These light up versions are a little more "premium" vs. the other one she has and do a few more things. This version is battery operated with blinking eyes and turning heads. My kids' favorite thing to do is have it pass gas by pressing a finger against her forehead. Unlike other fingerlings these will stand on their own yet still have the curly tail for hanging upside down. They'll do different things depending on their orientation. I did find the upper arms are not as comfortable for holding as the other fingerlings we have played with. Not so bad for little fingers but I did find it less than ideal as an adult. Glitter appears to be well adhered to the hands but I'm guessing over time you'll start to see it rubbing off.
