I do a lot of work at home on my laptop, and occasionally rather than sitting at a desk, I like to use my laptop on the couch. I was in the market for a decent lapdesk that would hold my phone and have an attached mouse pad. Previously I had used the older model of this LapGear desk, which was pretty good. The only real downside to that lapdesk was the fact that it didn't have a wrist rest, and after an hour or so if using my laptop, my wrists would start to hurt by resting it on the edge of the lapdesk. This lapdesk takes care of that problem. I really like the "dark carbon" surface appearance, not to mention this one has a nice padded wrist and mousepad rest so you don't feel any of the fatigue or discomfort of traditional lapdesks. Additionally, the padded bottom is comfortable, and overall it's exactly what I was looking for. There is a nice plastic slot above the mousepad to rest your phone in, which seems to be the trend with a lot of these lapdesks. I think anyone looking for a good portable workspace will be completely satisfied with this purchase.

This is an amazing laptop lap desk. It’s super comfortable, the wrist rest helps my carpal tunnel and keeps the mouse from sliding off, whether I’m sitting or moving the lap desk to the table. The micro bead cushion on the bottom is very comfortable, levels well, and keeps airflow to prevent your lap from getting hot like foam might. I wish the wrist rest was microbead too, but it’s comfortable. I REALLY REALLY REALLY wish they offered this in white marble (maybe even with gold veining) with a wrist rest. Please offer more colors. This is very lightweight, more so than another lap desk I tried, but feels incredibly sturdy. It’s high quality plastic and doesn’t bend with my laptop on it even when I move it with one hand underneath This is the best lap desk I’ve tried out of two. The other had a slide out mouse tray but I could tell that would hurt my wrist over several hours, and my toddler kept knocking the tray back in. Also, the mouse wanted to fall off whenever I switched to typing. I do wish there was another INCH or two of width for the mouse to move, but it’s not a dealbreaker. I hope this helps those of you looking for an awesome lap desk.

Love to use this when I am laying on my bed. I have a very large and heavy 17'' HP 7720 laptop so it always gets very hot and heavy after using it for over an hour. This alleviated that pain. My computer fits nicely and only overhangs a tad which isn't a big deal since I enjoy using a mouse. The cell phone holder is pretty sweet too since it echoes whenever it rings. I'm actually using it right now!

This has very good construction, well laid out for a right handed person, and is light weight. I like that the entire backside isn't covered with pad as it is much more stable and useful. The cell phone slot could be widened a bit to allow for Otter Box Defender cases, but that complaint isn't enough to pull a star. It's a very good and comfortable lap desk and works well with my Surface or my 15.6 laptop. It's sweet having that much area for the mouse.

I absolutely love this product. I am a Graphic Designer and I just started up some new classes for school so I spend A LOT of time working on the computer. I don't always like to sit at my desk or at the table as it's not particularly comfortable at times. So writing papers and designing things with my mouse comes difficult if I try to sit anywhere else and I often get hand cramps. This has helped me so much. I've been needing a lap desk for so long and one that is comfortable and easy to move around with and this does the trick. Take it from someone who is always using the computer... this is amazing. I love how I can keep my phone in it's dock and my mouse easily moves around. This lap desk fits my computer immaculately. It is super comfortable and worth the money! I highly suggest you get this.

I work from my couch, having a laptop on my laps for 9+ hours a day. Did an extensive research and ordered a few lap desks to replace my old one. Just got it today, but after a few hours of work it feels like the best one I've tried. 1. Look. Sleek and professional. Although it's all black, different textures an materials add an interesting look. 2. Size. Perfect. Large enough for a mouse but not bulky. Light but sturdy. 3. Ergonomics. Both wrist support and rests are very comfortable. Bottom line: can't comment on durability (yet), but otherwise well-deserved five stars.

I was looking for a lapdesk that was many things. Comfortable, lightweight, nice looking, and functional. This lapdesk has 2 strips of beaded pads for your upper thigh and for above your knees. It has a built-in mousepad that works great, it has a slot compartment above it to store your phone! And a padded bumper so your computer doesn't slip around which also doubles as a wristguard. This is hands-down the best one I've found on the market. It has everything and has a stylish design that I enjoy looking at. I use a mouse with my laptop and this lapdesk makes me want to use my laptop so much more. I love it! It is sturdy and will not crack or bust. You should definitely buy this.

COVID19 - Now working from home. My husband likes sitting in his favorite chair in the family room as he works. I noticed he was slouching while typing as he balanced his laptop on his lap. He would then have to reach over to the side table for pen/paper and his cell phone. This lead to the inevitable back ache. So I purchased a LapGear Home Office Pro Lap Desk with Wrist Rest, Mouse Pad, and Phone Holder for him. Now he is sitting up straighter. Comfortable on his legs. No more balancing act. Pen/Paper writing space. Place for his cell phone. Better circulation for his laptop. He is pleased with my purchase for him.

The size of the desk is great and covers your entire lap without being too large to sit in a chair. I like how it comes with a built in mouse pad so that's one less thing to lug around. The standing slot for phones is great and actually amplifies my speakerphone volume. The material itself seems sturdy and scratch resistant and is a very stylish color and pattern. The whole item is lightweight and easy to carry with the built in handle. I also enjoy the built in wrist rest, which is nice if you use this every day when working from home to reduce fatigue. The only thing I wish this had is like a zipper bag or pouch on the bottom to carry small peripherals like a mouse or charging cable, but I can live without that. I use a Lenovo Thinkpad T460 and this fits perfectly with plenty of room to use the mousepad. I should also mention if you don't use a mouse, it's easy to just sit your machine on top of the pad and pretend it's not there. So the mousepad isn't a bother if you choose to ignore it.

I received this item for as a birthday present for my 14.5 inch laptop. I love it. The cushions on the bottom are on both sides (horizontally) so that if you needed a left hander to use this, that would also be functional. The mouse pad is awesome and works well with my wireless mouse. The slot for the phone fits a SamsungGalaxyS9 or you can put pens, etc. in the slot. If you are left handed, this function may not work for you as the slot is angled for purpose of the right handers. The portion of the lap tray that the laptop would rest on is slip resistant. It did not slip or move with my HP Pavilion X 360.
