The best, according to my kid
Son says it is "the best scooter"

Easy folding
My son loves his new scooter. He likes the kick stand. It's easy folding. He likes the big wheels compared to the small wheel scooter.

Love the bigger wheels of the Trace 200
The Trace 200 with the 205mm wheels is exactly the upgrade my 13 year old needed. He had an old scooter with tiny wheels, and it just wasn't able to handle the conditions that he was trying to use it on. Going on a dirt road or having fun at a skate park are just not possible with tiny wheels that can't handle little bumps and such. The 200 gives a smooth ride even over dirt roads, and fully works as a "big kid" scooter with great control and responsiveness for the demands of an older rider. The quick-release and height-adjustable handlebars are exactly what my growing kid needs. I love that it folds for easy storage, too. Awesome scooter; highly recommended.

Sturdy, compact and super convenient
This product arrived late, but boy am I glad it is here. I've been using it to commute around instead of walking and the huge wheels make traveling a breeze. It also folds quite compactly which is great to take it in buses/trains. My only gripe is that the stand underneath cannot be easily extended (you have to do it by hand :( ). Perhaps a next iteration of the product can work on this more.

Review of 120mm version for a 10-year-old
I got this Mongoose for my 10-year-old daughter to replace her Razor A Kick Scooter (ASIN: B01EN6LTAQ). She started outgrowing the Razor so the Mongoose 120mm ended up being the perfect size for an upgrade. Technically, 120mm isn’t the actual wheel size. I measured them at 123.69mm (4.87”)—so just under 5 inches around. A little larger than what is listed, but I’m totally fine with that. The handlebar can be adjusted to 3 different heights (from the ground up): 32”, 34” and 36”. The 34” height is perfect for my daughter’s body size, and she has room to grow into the 36” in the future. The deck is 4.16” wide by 21” long (15” open surface area), providing plenty of room for both feet. Now when I say feet, I’m referring to my daughter’s feet. My own feet are much larger. I can fit one foot on without trouble (shoe size 11.5), but not two—at least, not fully. I can get two on if I put my feet sideways. That said, the scooter has a 176 lb. limit, so I can’t ride it anyway. Not without risking damage (I’m 199 lbs.). While it won’t work for me, I can see smaller adults being able ride without problems (my wife, for instance, could). The handle grip is rubbery with a good texture for gripping, designed to work even when wet. The Razor scooter used a foam grip, but foam tends to wear out over time. We owned another scooter in the past that I had to replace the hand grips on, but I don’t expect I’ll need to on the Mongoose; it uses materials designed to last. Overall, this scooter is really well built. I owned a Mongoose mountain bike in the past and the quality and build were spot-on. Same goes with this scooter. The only thing that seems a bit of a weak point is the break over the back tire. It’s fairly thin and small compared to some scooters I’ve seen around the neighborhood. I would not be surprised if it got bent out of shape if mistreated. That said, when used properly, it seems to work just fine. My daughter absolutely loves this scooter. Way more so than the Razor. Not only does it fit her better, look great, and ride smoothly, but the kickstand is quite useful too. No more tripping over the scooter when it’s lying down in the garage. It takes using your hand to put the kickstand down, but easily lifts up with a flick of your foot/toe. We’re quite happy with this scooter, and gladly give it 5-stars.

Just what my boy wanted
The Mongoose Trace 180 is perfect for my 11yr old son, 5'1" tall. Thanks to the person who posted a long review comparing Razor and Mongoose Trace. This one is perfect for big children who like to scooter to school carrying heavy bags and all. It is very sturdy and suitable for adults as well.

Great quality
Bought for 10 year old son. Takes the cracks in the sidewalk way smoother than the smaller version. East to move handle up and down

Great
Sturdy and rolls smooth. Good weight capacity. Could be a bit longer to accommodate bigger feet, but a small gripe.
