Great board for the price
This longboard is an excellent starters board that has even impressed me. I've been skating for years, using skateboards, drop through longboards and cruisers, all expensive high end boards for the experienced consumer. This board caught my eye due to the design, so i figured i would try it. Not only is this the nicest looking board ive used, but this board rides exceptionally smooth for the price tag. I would recommend this to anyone who wishes to start cruising. Just replace the bearings, they're awful. Also its a stiff board, you won't get flex with this one UPDATE After a few days of free time off work ive come to realize that this is an amazing board. Ive ordered some new bearings for it after i greased the bearings and gave the wheels some space. Regardless of the quality of these bearings i love to ride this board. Its a smooth ride that will suprise you upon each session. After riding this for 8 hours now, i will up this to 5 stars and suggest it to anyone who wants to start, or is experienced like myself. GET THIS BOARD.

Excellent quality and value!
Excellent value in a beginner longboard. Bought this for my boys and ended up ordering another one. This board is basically the same as the Quest but with better graphics and bamboo. Well thought out design, it has generic trucks and wheels but they function great, this thing CARVES! This is a cruising and carving design and is tons of fun. Can't believe how much they have advanced since I was a kid. The turning radius is excellent, wheels are sticky and roll over just about anything within reason, it's stable and fun to ride with the extended kick tail. Board is very stiff, pretty much no flex whatsoever, but that is a good thing in a beginner board, I think it contributes to it's stability. The fit and finish on this longboard is excellent, I mean really much better than I anticipated. It has a beautiful bamboo laminate with a matte finish and very tasteful graphics, the best I've seen on just about any board, and I have looked at plenty. They look so good I built a hanger to display them. If I had one complaint about them it would be the bearings, that would be my only upgrade (and will be), they just aren't up to the quality of the rest of the board, they have noticeably more resistance than a board with better quality bearings (Reds Bones are pretty cheap). I was worried this would be a Walmart quality board for this price ($60), it most definitely is not! In short, Awesome deck, good trucks, wheels, and bushings, but bearings could use an upgrade. Wheel cutouts are appreciated as this thing carves really well, and the kick tail makes this board fun for the boys unlike a pintail or drop through.

Great board, great value (even for old guys like me)!
What a great board (at a great price)! This is a great board for a beginner or someone getting back into skateboarding after a long absence (like myself). I was big into skateboarding as a kid (street, vert, half-pipes), but pretty much stopped after college. I'm now in my mid-40s and my son is starting to get into it, so I decided to give it a go again. I was never into longboarding before, but since I'm a bit older and I don't really have the "luxury" of nursing an injury, I decided to give longboarding a try. I'm hooked! Love it! It's a ton of fun cruising down long, smooth, curvaceous roads. This is a well-constructed, high-quality board that you can't beat at this price. The only caveat I'd offer is that if you plan to ride a lot (or your style is a bit aggressive or adventurous), you may want to upgrade the trucks. Don't get me wrong - from a utility standpoint, the trucks work great, but good trucks can run as much as this entire board. (Likewise, most really good complete boards are going to run a couple hundred bucks - I'm about to invest in another board, a drop-thru board). What's also great about this board is that it allows you to get in at a reasonable price and make sure you like longboarding - then upgrade later if you so choose. Enjoy!

super happy!
Super excited to have this board! I'm a beginner and wanted something nice and easy to learn on but still reasonably affordable to see if it's really my thing, I think this board is perfect for that! It rides really smoothly, and is light enough for me (petite sized girl) to pick up and carry around. I'm about 5'2 and the board comes up to my sternum about. The box it came in was pretty busted up, with a decent sized hole in the side and when I took the board out part of the grip tape had been chipped off where that hole was. Probably more UPS's fault than anything but maybe a little more protection for the board inside the box would be nice, it just came in shrink wrap with two very small and thin pieces of foam inside the box. I got the Kelp color! I thought it would be more yellow ochre like in the picture (despite the name haha) but it's more of a yellowish green (quite similar color to actual kelp. Or a key lime pie!). I don't mind though. :^)

Smooth riding and a beautiful longboard

Incredible board especially for the price!
I ride longboards everywhere I go and have a few of them. I bought this specific board 6 months ago and its been nothing but perfect for every ride! Its taken a beating too. The board has hit walls after going down large hills going around 30 mph and it only has a very tiny hair line crack in the nose. I prefer this over any landyachtz board I have ever longboarded on, and its not even half the price of one! I would highly recommend this to any beginner who wants a serious quality board, or any pro that wants high maneuverability and speed without having to upgrade the trucks. The only thing I've ever done to the board was put new wheels on it (shark wheels) and new griptape because I wore out the originals while riding it every day. Easily 5/5 stars!

decent board for the price. I just use it ...
decent board for the price. I just use it to exercise my 3 large dogs. I let them run while cruising around the park. added a brake just in case a squirrel distracts them to prevent the eating of s#@!

Great board! 6 ft 200+ lb rider, very sturdy
This was my first ever longboard. I’m 6 ft and over 200lbs but it’s plenty study for me. I’m I’ve had experience when I was younger on the old ripsticks so I caught on pretty quickly to this longboard. Since I’ve bought this, I’ve learned that technically this is a cruiser board (Best for flat surfaces). Regardless, the board has very much exceeded my expectations. The deck is long and the shape allows me to really grip it. Even though I use it mostly for going down hills, it’s still great! I have loosened the trucks with a wrench to allow sharper turns (Essential if you plan on tackling big hills). At least 3-5 times a week I ride around campus for hours. Even after many hours/weeks of riding time, rough roads, and a few crashes this board is as good as new. The wheels especially have held their shape after taking such a beating. I can’t speak to the trucks or bearings as I am not an experienced longboarder. I will say that this board has allowed me to push my limits on the hills as I’ve gotten better and more confident. Buy this board if you’d like to learn. It’ll allow you to learn but also push your limits when you get better.
