I got the 3500 for my son to upgrade his Nikon D3200, just as I had done for myself and for his brother. Getting all the extras in the bundle was an added adventure. We all LOVE the new camera’s speed and quality of the images. Shooting the fast action of a soccer game, and being able to switch to video very quickly and easily is wonderful! We use the Nikkor 18-300 lens, and it pairs seamlessly with our new addition!

Everything came with and in perfect condition! The quality is nice but it is a little difficult to figure out if you’re a beginner, but thankfully they offer free classes online and YouTube helps a lot. Nothing you can’t figure out though!! I’m excited to experiment more and start my photography journey.

The Nikon D3500 is a really small DSLR that takes great pictures (when using an external flash). It is really small and lightweight package especially when using the bundled 18-55mm collapsible lens. High ISO and Autofocus performance is very, very good. The D3500 is Nikon's entry level DSLR replacing the D3400. These two cameras have very similar specifications (this camera is a bit lighter) but the real difference is the White balance. The D3xxx series before this model, had an orangery AWB when shooting with existing incandescent lighting (i.e regular light bulbs). This model does a much better job The colors are really so much better. The buttons are also rearranged to make one handed-shooting a little easier. However, the next camera up the line, is the D5600 which currently sells for almost the same price since the D5600 has been around for a while. The D5600 which has almost identical and excellent image quality, is about the same size and weight (maybe an ounce or two heavier). But the D5600 has several important features the D3500 lacks; a fully articulating LCD, touch screen controls (in addition to buttons), many more ISO stops (The D3500 has only 2 ISO stops between ISO 400 and 3200), DOF Preview, Bracketing, better wireless picture transfer, automatic sensor cleaning, programmable FN button etc. Like almost all cameras, the built in flash is not great; an external speedlight with bounce capabilities is really essential for properly exposed photographs. The SB300 is a very small flash and a great match for this camera (and for the D5600). The Bundle offered here does not offer a flash. It is questionable whether the extra items being offered is worth the $50+ being charged or whether it is simply more worthwhile to skip this bundle and just purchase the lens & camera directly from Amazon. Like all cameras, the most important component is the skill and imagination of the photographer.

I am well pleased with the camera. It has exceeded all of my expectations. The photos are excellent. It has given me a sense of awareness of my surroundings...what will make a good picture? Great price!

The instructions for this camera are horrible. I can't tell if I've taken a picture yet. I can't figure how to look at a picture if I have taken one. I think basic stuff like that should be sent with the camera, not to look up somewhere on line. I have a digital Nikon camera that has a very nice manual with it. The piece of crap that came with this one is impossible to decipher. I've also have a Nikkorrmat (35mm) for years and that also had a great manual included. I used that for many years and had a lot of nice comments about the pictures I took with it. How about some help

Truthfully I'm new to this hobby. Not at any level to wanna take family portraits or go on safaris and capture aninals and land or city- scapes. I'm a complete amateur. But i will say, this whole kit is amazing for me to start off with. The camera is crisp. Fresh out the box it's easy to configure. Everything I've experimented with and learned/ or currently learning about came in this kit. The generic lenses help alot and the cleaning kit and extra supplies give this bundle 5 stars. The only issue I have is the size of the bag. But besides that, 90%of everything fits. I'm just a pack rat that likes to make sure everything is there and prepared for nearly any situation. Thanks for helping me start a new hobby that I would love to expand on. Will definitely learn more and invest in your products and bundles.

I needed a lightweight camera that had a lot of features. Both of the lenses in this kit had Image Stabilization. This was why I purchased this specific kit. Beach Camera put together a nice setup with this kit. I have yet to give the camera and lenses a good workout but I am happy with pictures I've taken indoors so far.

I've only had this camera for 2 days and the seller is bugging me to review this purchase. So first of all I'm still trying to figure out all the features of this camera. As a novice DSLR camera I'm initially impressed at the quality of the pictures - but this is a very limited review at this time. I'm very impressed at the amount of the extra bundle items included with this purchase.

My friend has the D3400 which is a fantastic camera. This D3500 only gets better it is much slimmer and lighter and just as easy to use. Great camera for beginners that takes beautiful pictures.

Great camera especially for beginners. The amount of stuff it comes with in this package is ridiculous for the price. The camera functions exactly as expected. Pro tip: You must manually turn off the automatic ISO if you switch to manual mode. The tripod isn't amazing but it works and it's better than nothing. The macro lens is great for wider angle shots. And the telephoto adds just a little more to your zoom for far away objects. I really like the bag it comes with. I love that it comes with three filters. I suggest using the UV filter to help protect the main lens. I have had no issues with the memory card. I have not used the card readers. That being said, DO NOT DELETE PHOTOS IN-CAMERA. I'm not going to cover camera functions, do your research.
