Perfect for my life
I live in a non-EU country in Europe, which means that I am charged massive roaming fees if I use my phone any time I cross the border. As we frequently drive across the border it is not usually easy or convenient to find a place selling local SIM cards until we've arrived in a major city and then it's always a pain trying to track down a place that sells them. This past weekend I tested out this SIM card in Croatia and it worked great! I installed it shortly after crossing the border and it worked right away. I did find that I had to turn on my roaming data in order to get the data to work (I'm guessing that must be because this is a French SIM card?), but it still gave me the same amount of data. I plan to register this SIM card online so that I can top up the data and use it for my next trip into the EU.

Lots of data for use in a phone in Europe!
I used this while traveling through Dublin airport, France, and Spain. It worked really well for what I needed, and definitely had enough data for the week I was there. I used the call function to call my hotel, and the call went through easily. The reception overall was great- I was easily able to video chat with a friend from inside several shops along Champs-Élysée in Paris, and from my hotel room in Madrid. I also took the train from Madrid to Barcelona to Paris, and it worked for a decent amount of the trip. I’ve taken the train within France before and I found that I had as good or better reception during this train trip. That said, in some of the more remote areas, the cell service did kind of suck, but I had expected as much because no cellular carrier has 100% coverage anywhere. It was nice getting texts where Orange identified which country I was in (being on the train, it was cool to know when I crossed into France), and I found the way to check my data was simple to use. I even got a message saying that I was in the US when I turned my phone back on in the US, and that I was now being charged roaming fees (since it’s only for Europe), and that my current network, with the strongest connection, was T-Mobile. One thing you do NEED to make sure to do is register the SIM card within a? week of ordering it, or it supposedly will not work, even if you still have data credit on it. My only complaint with it was that it didn’t come with a key thing to change out your SIM card. I chose to use my US SIM card until I landed in Dublin. Luckily, in the Dublin airport there was a nice gentleman in an electronics store willing to change out the SIM card for me for no charge. So, in short, this is an amazing deal, and it definitely works. Although it seems sort of like it’s too good to be true, it’s really not. It has flaws, but overall it works well and I will definitely recommend this to friends looking to travel internationally and use this again when I next go to Europe.

This is a great alternative to expensive US mobile provider fees overseas
Using this was as easy as taking out my US cell phone provider's SIM card and popping this one in. Additionally, until mid August, you'll get 8GB of promotional data (instead of the usual 3GB). Two things to remember: (1) You will no longer have a US phone number when you use this (you'll have a French one), so if you call the United States from Europe, you will have to add a "+1" to the phone number to make sure your call is directed to the United States and (2) In order for this to work with your phone (and outside of France) you must have data roaming enabled on your phone. I didn't need to top it off, so I didn't register it and can't speak for that, though some other reviews claim that was an issue for them, but chances are good the amount of data you'll get with this will be plenty, especially if you use WiFi where you're staying. If texting is an issue, apps like "WhatsApp", "Signal", and even Facebook Messenger can be great ways to avoid texting issues that come up .. and you can telephone people through those apps as well (just remembering that you will have a French phone number, so even on those apps, you will have to add the "+1" to the US phone number you're dialing.

Outstanding Travel Option
After the sticker shock of seeing how my US carrier has changed international rates since our last trip, I went searching for an alternative. Orange comes up in several tech sites as either the #1 or 2 option. As our first experience using a Euro sim, I wanted to get it ahead of time & understand how it works. The sim, comes with basic instructions, plus Orange has a great website that answers other questions. They recommend not installing it until you reach your first destination, but I could just see us dropping it or having an issue, so we shut down the phone & installed it at home. First destination (Frankfurt airport) we turned it on & it came up like a champ! Web & texting worked well, only tried one phone call. I suspect people reporting problems are not enabling roaming or some other issue in settings. See the directions or Orange website. FYI, on an iPhone, the ‘+’ sign required for an international phone number comes up by holding down the zero key. We didn't know that! I will not need the sim soon enough to register it, but will definitely use Orange again. Also, It still worked inUS when we returned, using T-Mobile network.

It worked perfectly.
It worked perfectly. We spent a week in Amsterdam without any problems whatsoever. Our main cell phone provider does not work overseas. We took a spare iPhone 6 and plugged this little baby into it and wa-la, instant cell phone. Before you go over to Europe, turn on the Wi-Fi calling under your General Settings and your regular service should kick in without any hiccups as well.

Amazing! Works great!
I never have left a review before. I purchased 2 of these sim cards for our unlocked iphones. We use TMobile prepaid in the states so we didn't have an option for international plans. I researched and found these. Purchased 2 before our trip to Europe. I did not register them as our trip was only 12 days. They worked amazingly well. Not a single problem traveling between countries. 4g 95% of the time. It was fast and worked great. Very very happy. 5 star product. Don't install them into your phone until you land in Europe. Turned off airplane mode and it connected within 20 seconds. No issues at all

Great value, highly recommend.
This was a fantastic investment! My husband and I went to Switzerland and Spain for 8 days. This card worked the entire time like a charm. We had full service the entire time and very few issues. Our main issue was with texting. It was unfortunately for communicating back home but we just used wifi so it was no big deal. We also had trouble registering our cards. It was fine this time since we aren't going back soon enough that we would be able to use the same card, but if you plan on topping off your card you need to register, if you can't register, you can't top off. Which is an obvious setback. However, they do offer customer service. I didn't find my experience to be all that helpful (first I had language barrier issues, second time I was told to visit an Orange store in person. Both times service was slow and somewhat frustrating as there was any sense of giving a damn). But, after seeing simcards in the airport/tourist information/stores, I can't me mad. It mostly did what it was supposed to! Despite not being able to register, and the lack of customer service, I HIGHLY recommend this card. We had more than enough data left over (even using Maps, IG, etc) especially if you connect to WiFi whenever you are able. With apps like WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, I didn't feel like my lack of texting abilities was an issue. It didn't matter anyway since you'll have a French phone number.

Worked perfectly in Europe
I just came back from a 9-day trip in Europe, and this sim card works perfectly in 6 countries (UK, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Slovakia, Hungary). I only restarted my Android phone once due to a 10-minute no service issue in west Austria ski resort. Other than that, my whole trip has 4G speed covered (except some mountain areas) and service provider switching between countries works as expected. I recommend this card to travelers with normal Google Map and web/social media browsing.

Great for traveling in Europe
I've used these ons 2 trips. It's easy to put in, works great, and goes a long way for navigation, email, web, etc. I haven't used for streaming movies, prolly run down pretty fast for that. The only downside I've noticed is that they text you like every two days reminding you to top up, even if you've barely used any of it. (I ignore those texts) My brother discovered you can text *123* (I think) to see how much you've used so far. ps- I don't actually know about tech support as I haven't tried to contact them.
