Amazing Customer Service.

Update: My first review I gave one star because they did not work for me. I am now giving 5 stars for customer service. Originally I purchased 2 sets (4 tubes total) installed exactly as instructed...right distance apart, away from where we sit, and in the shade... Added 2 more 2 weeks after. Mosquitos were still insane and i felt like it did not help at all. I have been sent another set to cover my acreage with instructions to use bottled water and a map of my property with ultra-specific instructions on where to place. Never seen customer service this great before. I am going to hang as instructed and really hope they work. If they do I'm going to always have working sets hanging and encourage all my neighbors to do the same. I will update in a month with results. Very hopeful. Worth every penny if it will work.

Works Great in Texas!

We live in Texas a block from a creek in a neighborhood w/lots of trees. We typically have mosquitos swarming around our doors and find them in the house on a daily basis. We put a Spartan container at each of the front corners of our house and each of the back corners of our yard. Are they gone? No. However, it is a HUGE improvement!! Very satisfied customer.

What mosquitos?

We placed this set of mosquito traps out the third week of June 2018 here in N. Texas. They cover 1 1/2 acres of mowed grasses and woodlands. I topped the containers off with water every four weeks. I could count on one hand the number of mosquitoes we saw during that time. In the ninth week, I started seeing several mosquitoes hanging around our bedroom door. I found one of the containers had been knocked down and destroyed be a Racoon, so I purchased another set and deployed as soon as they arrived. We are now at the end of the first week and no mosquitoes around the house. This second set should carry us through the rest of the summer. I will be purchasing a double set during the 2019 winter in preparation for our Texas spring and summer.

They work!

I have 4 in all 4 corners of my yard. Hung in trees. Up for a week now and at dusk tonight I didn’t get one bite!

Pleased purchaser!

A little dubious but it was a reasonable price point to manage our Southern 'flies'. It is very easy to assemble. I placed one in a small tree that is part of a bed with a lot of vegetation (and breeding spot as it is regularly irrigated) and another in a large shrub in an area near our workshop space. I notice MANY fewer mosquitoes, in spite of the fact that I ordered late for the season. I did use both for a large residential lot. I will be reordering!

Game changer in South Texas

GAME CHANGER! I deployed 3 around 2 weeks ago- so far- they are game changers. I couldn't sit in my south Texas heavily wooded backyard for more than a minute without being swarmed. That is no longer the case. Will update in a few more weeks.

Best mosquito protection ever

I bought these after seeing how well they worked at my brothers house. We live in Alabama and mosquitoes are a huge problem. I helped him in his yard for hours and no mosquitoes- none! I asked why and he pointed at the 2 Spartan Eradicators. I was sold. I literally ordered them before leaving his driveway. They’ve been up in our yard for apx 2 weeks now and yes!! A huge difference between before and after. I recommend these not just so you can keep them off yourself but we have 4 dogs and it protects them too! I’ll be buying them again for Spring!

Amazed!

I was extremely skeptical of this product. I've tried just about everything to deal with mosquitos except those expensive propane-powered traps. I tried these last year, but was too late putting them out and they were ineffective by that point. However, multiple people told me to give them a try this year and to put these out in late Feb or early March, whenever the weather started to warm up and the mosquitos started becoming active. So, I gave them another try. I followed the directions as exactly as I could (I didn't have enough room or places to hang them quite as far away/apart as the directions state) and it's been 6 weeks or so now, with many days above 80 degrees when mosquitos would normally me as a walking restaurant. I think I may have been bitten ONCE so far this year, and I'm on my patio every evening. It appears these things actually DO work! Just be sure you put them out at the beginning of the season so that the mosquito population is controlled from the beginning, and you should be all set. If anything changes, I'll update this review, but I think we may have a winner here, finally!

Seems to work

The order arrived fast, and was easy to set up. I heard good things about it, but as a research scientist, I doubt everything... But it wasn't expressive so I tried. I have 0.27 acres on water, so not big, but with tons of mosquitos. I ordered 4, but deployed two of these (designed for 1 acre) thinking it would be fine. It wasn't - no change in 2 weeks. I'm in South East Texas where mosquitos are King (worse than either Minnesota or Louisiana, where I've experienced serious mosquitos). The company suggested that since it was already mosquito season (12 months/year), I should deploy all 4. A week later, mosquito numbers were down. Usually I can look out the window on my back patio and see dozens at anytime of day or night. I look now, even on overcast days, I see one or two. I also notice high numbers of mosquitos near the eradicators I deployed at my water line, so I know it attracts them. It's been a month since setting up so 4, and I'm pleased. I still use repellent here with reported zika in my area, but with more confidence now. It appears to work, but multiple trials under various conditions would be needed to say with certainty that it's this system that has caused the mosquito decrease and not some other variable (like the bats or Muscovy ducks I have here... All of which eat mosquitos). I have neither the time nor energy to bother, so I'll assume these work and keep using them until I see the mosquito population increase again.

These things are the BOMB against Minnesota monster mosquitoes!

With the amount of wooded area on our 3.5 acre property, plus all the Minnesota lakes surrounding us... our yard was practically a mosquito convention. Seriously, they were everywhere. EVERYWHERE. I could barely even walk out into our yard in the daytime let alone the evening without being covered in bites. But now... I can go out and enjoy it at any time of the day.. and even take a stroll in our woods which was IMPOSSIBLE before. Spartan mosquito eradicators WORK! Run, don’t walk to order yours today! Stop being breakfast, lunch and dinner for those devilish little vampires and go enjoy your yard!! You won’t be disappointed! 😊
