Fixed the intermittent problem

I was having intermittent signal problems on my home wifi on a self built system. Checked, changed parts, researched, diagnosed, etc. etc. etc. Finally got rid of an older Rosewill wifi dongle and connected to Wireless LAN with this adapter and problem solved, full speed ahead.

Great value for a desktop with USB3.0 connectivity

"I purchased this wireless adapter for an older Mini-Tower that sits across the house from my router, and which I deemed not feasible to run a hardwire to. Delivery was quick and timely, and my product arrived in easy-to-open clamshell packaging. Included in this package was the USB WiFi dongle, a screw-on antenna, a simple installation booklet, and a mini-CD with the drivers that need to be installed before operating this WiFi adapter. Physical installation was very straightforward. I elected to use a USB 3.0 extension cord/base since I could not get optimal signal strength in my computer cabinet. One thing to note is that when adjusting the swivel antenna (which felt a bit stiff), I heard an audible ""snap"" which I suspect came from the USB dongle. I cannot find any exterior damage and everything is working properly, but I would advise that you take care when installing and adjusting this product, and leave it in a place where it will not be disturbed. Installation of the drivers was a bit tricker, but please note **I DO NOT BLAME THE COMPANY/PRODUCT FOR THIS**. While following the instruction manual for Windows installation, I kept getting crashes when running the setup program. A call to Amazon product support and about 20 minutes of troubleshooting finally lead me to the realization that there was an earlier set of drivers from a previous WiFi adapter I used in the past that were conflicting with the new driver installation. That being said, I **HIGHLY** recommend running the uninstall program (also included on the CD) first, to make sure any previous driver versions you might have are removed. Once I did this, the remainder of the software installation was straightforward and very by-the-manual. Connection to the router is a constant ~780Mbps in my optimal antenna location. Considering I have three interior walls and about 25 feet of distance between my router and this antenna/dongle, this is very acceptable. On the 5G channel, this translates into ~20 ping and 60+Mbps down/ 10+Mbps up on a 100down/10 up internet connection. I will update this review in the future if anything major changes, both positive or otherwise."

Works great

It was so easy to setup and very user friendly I think most people could do this themselves if there computer doesn't have a wireless card in it. My wireless card had some sort of issue so instead of fixing it I just bought one of these and that will give me some time to figure out whats up with the internal one or just forget it altogether. ,

29/17 this bat is well balanced, fast through the zone, and a lot of pop with a huge sweet spot. Stepping up from an Easton S500c and S2, the Combat is just as quick/light as the S500C with more pop than the S2 which feels heavier. My 9 year old 55 lb son went from contact hitter to hitting with authority. Break-in period is minimal with 150 soft toss but still hot right out of the wrapper. His coach and hitting instructor notice a huge difference in power and distance after 1 practice. Worth it's weight in gold...Wish I had known about Combat earlier, it's replacing all his Easton Bats as the game day bat!
