Good quality docking station

This docking station works exactly as what I have in my office at work. Now I can hookup 2 additional monitors with my laptop, one through VGA, another through HDMI. The resolution of each monitor can be set and optimized on my laptop. No installation nor software is needed. Just plug in and play. It also has sd card slot which is not available on my laptop.

Easily use, not necessary to install driver.

It is very easily use and it does not necessary to install driver menually. Just plug it in your computer’s USB-C port and then it is ready to go. I use this dock on my Dell Latitude 7490 with Ubuntu 18.04. This dock has the every connections that I want. I do not use USB-C charging port (PD), because my Dell Latitude 7490 use the Dell generical power supply (19.5V/4.62A). Even I do not have USB-C PD charger to be connected with the dock’s USB-C Female Charging port, the dock still works after plug into my PC. That is all my want. The LED indications are very useful for me to identify each port connected quite well. The dock does not have DVI-D interface, I need to buy an adapter (HDMI to DVI-D).

Keeps things organized

I can charge my wife’s phone and mine and the ipad that we use to entertain our baby. Using this free’s up our ports on my laptop, which are few as is. Would recommend.

good to use

I purchased this USB-C/dongle to serve as an adapter for my many USB peripherals. The first thing I noticed was how light it was and all the different ports it had to be so light. It comes with a duster bag where you can easily use it for on the go. I have used the micro SD and the regular one. You can't however use them simultaneously. I did read that the new generation of the Ipad Pros can also hook up but not Thunderbolt (the instructions for this one does state not compatible but someone did connect using an adapter) I have a 2011 Mac Book Air and it DOES NOT work with this one but it did work on my son's Mac Book Pro. I transferred pics from my camera and it was very fast. The HDMI worked flawlessly on the Mac Book Pro. I used all the ports except for the Ethernet (no need) this dongle does so much and well worth it. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. So the only con for me was the SD card since I was going back and forth with the pictures and that this particular one isn't compatible with my laptop or iPad Pro. It does however offer 8 compatible laptops but mine is just an old model. So if you have a Mac Book Pro 2016-2018 and a Mac Book 2015-2018, this one is for you.

If you are looking for a dock support 2 monitors, this is it. All ports in one dock, easy setup, works seamlessly. I really like that you have the ability to add multiple monitors and can also charge cell phone, it can turn your laptop into a professional work station.

Works great and expands my system exactly

If you are always editing things with a USB connection or need an SD card clot, this is this is very useful it has a lot of ports for whatever you need. Allows you to use a laptop adapter, I don’t have to worry about finding the correct one.
