Charming small jewelry box with lovely ice accents

In keeping with the primary theme of Frozen, it's no surprise to find this jewelry box sparkles with wintry theme. The box is based on an eye-catching white and the back side highlights the gear system which rotates the characters along with the locking mechanism that keeps the sliding drawer in place. There are three bags along with a small bag for the horse. The included sticker sheet is minimal with only four to apply. A word of caution: centering the mirror can take a bit of concentration and since it is so central to the set an adult may want to assist a younger builder. I was about 90% happy with my own attempt. A minidoll of Elsa with a beautiful two-patterned cape is accompanied by a figure of Nokk, a watery-looking horse character from the upcoming sequel Frozen II. Nokk is immovable so it is essentially a statue, but the clear blue looks fantastic as does the swept-forward tail. The silver eyes on Nokk are a great-looking highlight. To make Nokk ridable, the middle section can be removed - it looks a bit awkward but certainly does the trick for play. The gear system is fun and reminiscent of dancing ballerinas and other characters often found on non-brick jewelry boxes. Being able to easily spin the characters together lends itself to frequently changing the look of the box. The drawer functions well: it might be nice to add tiles to the floor to permit jewelry to be more accessible if one is so inclined. The box looks nice from three sides, the back is fairly functional but in a thoughtful touch the mirror sticker is two-sided, adding visual interest should one be looking from behind. A pleasing set that could easily be rebuilt into a small Frozen-themed building if you're not looking for a jewelry box but are interested in Elsa, Nokk, and the variety of winter/ice themed parts.

Great way to get little girls interested in Legos

We got this for our 5 year old daughter for Christmas and as someone who had thousands of legos and built numerous Technics models, I was excited to introduce our kid to something that was so special to me as a kid. The Frozen theme of the kit and it being a jewelry box was instantly appealing to her and she picked up on how they worked extremely quick. The companion ipad app is nice in case the instructions get lost so she was able to follow along and see the pieces in each step, how they go together and move onto the next. She breezed through it and asked for something more challenging next time. The old technic's series kits can still be purchased from BrinkLink's website so I'm thinking of finding some easy technic's sets for her to play with.

Got a GREAT deal on this Frozen set! My daughter is going to be 7 this Christmas and this is perfect for her. She likes to build the lego sets and then break them apart only to never really be used again. This set allows her to save the set on her nightstand or dresser to use for her jewelry. Delivered on time, a great price, and just what I expected!

Coolest lego set ever! 6 yr old girl

My daughter put this together almost entirely herself and loved how she could twirl the horse and Elsa. She loved the jewelry that came with and the fact that you could lock the drawers to prevent them from opening up when carrying it around. She absolutely loved this, and I would definitely be interested if Lego came out with a bigger Jewelry box that held more (Girls & Boys) My son would love a Marvel one for sure!

Can’t wait to see it together!

Gift for my 7 year old granddaughter. The box was in perfect condition which is important (in my opinion) when giving items as gifts. She along with her older brother love legos. If she has any problem getting it together he’ll be happy to lend a helping hand.

Another wonderful and innovative kit

Our girls really love this kit. Not only does it have their favorite characters from Frozen II, but it's a jewelry box and comes with some plastic rings they can wear. The water horse spins thanks to gears built into the kit and there is even a small mirror! They built it themselves with no adult help, which is also a bonus for tired and busy parents. The colors are attractive and there's even a working drawer for the girls to keep their own jewelry. Glad we got it!

Lego's for our oldest grand daughter!

Between "Lion King" and "Frozen 2" we had a wide variety of gifts for Christmas for our two grand daughter's! This Lego was put together by our grand daughter who is 5. The true magic of the "Jewelry Box" was our little grand daughter doing it herself! It's so perfect for her.....She loves Elsa and anything which has Elsa's picture on it.....well she likes it immediately! It is nice to see a little girl enjoy toys that thrill her! So sweet.

Granddaughter thrilled with this Lego kit!

We finished this Lego set today, and my granddaughter did it essentially all herself, following book directions. She is almost 8, and loved the process and the results. She has a "real" jewelry box at home, but is happy to have this one in her room at our house and will be bringing some earrings from home to add to the Lego rings. She loved the gears and the Elsa and horse figures, and how they moved. She loved the mirror and how the drawer slid in and out and locked into place. A big hit!

I had a feeling this would be worth the price, and boy is it ever! My niece was ecstatic to learn, upon putting this together, that it is a fully functioning jewelry box! It's amazing! Add in Elsa and her water spirit horse from the movie and you really can't go wrong.
