Great for light use and probably more
I bought this for very sporadic narrative videos and it works great. It really picks up the sounds of my voice well, but it's almost too sensitive in that it picks up just about every ambient noise in the area. For example my furnace kicked on and it was picked up by the microphone. The microphone seems to be well built and should hold up to more rigorous use. Think of purchasing another as aChristmas gift for a family member who is an amateur rapper so she can record rough clips at home before going to the studio.

superb quality
This is an upgrade to its previous version. The sound quality is fantastic as before. Now I am able to make it work with my iPhone, PC and MacBook. For iPhone, you need lighting extension with the pink head audio cable and plug into AUX. For PC and MacBook, you only need the USB cable for input/output and charging the same time. The microphone is listed as USB audio device for input and output. You will need a headphone on the microphone to hear the sound. On MacBook, you need to manually select the input/output in sound settings of system preferences. On PC, it becomes the default sound device automatically. If it may not work using USB connection, a sound splitting cable is required with the pink head audio cable to connect to AUX. The splitting cable is not listed in the instruction but included in the package. Have fun with this for karaoke :-)

Plug and play. Now I have better sound input through my laptop.
This microphone is very convenient, functional, and useful. It works through my laptop’s USB port. No drivers to install; when I connect the USB cable, the microphone is selected as “microphone—USB audio device” under the recording tab in Windows’ sound control panel. From there initially, right-click, properties, and advanced, this microphone can be set to the higher 48kHz. I can hear the microphone by enabling “Listen to this device” under the Listen tab; or I installed Voice Recorder from the Microsoft store and the ZealSound microphone records great. It is plug and play, easy to set up. It is an omni-direction microphone, so it picks up my voice in all directions I point it. I am in a small room. For general cases, I have no issues with a bit of background floor noise. For video recording, I use OBS, and add noise filters. For streaming or communication on Windows, install Voicemeeter, but it only has a noise gate open-threshold setting. However, for general use, this microphone works better than my laptop’s mic without additional software. What is great is that it does not need additional hardware either, because it is rechargeable and essentially has a direct box built in. I keep it right in front of me inches away and it produces better sound quality. The foam over-mic pop filter looks professional, keeps the microphone clean, and improves sound quality further by filtering out blowing noises, popping, and sibilants. The microphone also works with my phone.

Simple cheap mic, good for the money, great for specific things
I'm a musician, so I have some very expensive mics around too. Obviously for $35 it won't compare to a pro-level mic. But for your average person that just wants to record some voice overs or have some fun doing beginner recording, this is great! Since it's USB-powered, you don't need other hardware to get started using it. (Pro mics are usually XLR connected, and need an audio interface to power it and record with it to the computer.) It's pretty sensitive like all condenser mics, so be aware of that. If you record in your kitchen, it will probably sound like you recorded in the bathroom because it will pick up the reverb from the room. If you get close and keep the levels low enough, you can pull it off. I tried to use this a few times just to broadcast our D&D game--it worked fine for that, but it was too sensitive and picked up a lot of room noise. I'm not sure why this is labeled as an ASMR mic, since it's a mono mic (like all condenser microphones). A true ASMR mic is a pretty specific thing, and this isn't that. This is a great affordable mic for anyone that wants to try recording voice, vocals, or instruments. Try it out at home with free Digital Audio Workstation software like Bandlab Cakewalk (PC) or Garageband (Mac).

Great for home studio!! Great value mic for beginners (vocal recording)
Working on my home studio cause I’m bored during quarantine. I used it with Mac and GarageBand. Hasn’t tried it with And this one is so much better than the other USB condenser mic from amazon I had!! First of all, very helpful manual, easy to install. Second, great sound quality!!! I compared with the other $50 mic and this one is so much so much better, especially I used it for vocal recording. It does have really low volume at the first use (which the manual mentioned) and after it’s charged for a while, the volume is normal and the sound quality is great for this price level. No latency issue with GarageBand. Sooo much better than I was expecting.
