Great security cam for a great price!

I got this camera as I've been looking around a while for a not too expensive camera for a bit of home security. This camera fits my needs exactly! The price isn't too expensive so I could get a few more for around the home if I need to, and I probably will! Pros: -The images / video come out nice and clear, I can view it on my cell phone and clearly see the faces of anybody who passes -The infrared camera is excellent! Even at night when all the lights are off, the images come out crisp and clear! -Motion sensor is great! Unlike some other cameras where you define a blob of the areas you need, this app gives you a 5x5 grid you can just choose to detect instead of having to fine tune the edges, so it's quite easy to change to ignore areas you don't need that have a higher traffic. -App is well made and easy to navigate! I had no problems setting up the camera at all through the app, the camera has a time and date stamp as well, and it's possible to sort through the videos it took by date, and even narrow it down by type (options are Motion, Sound, and Human shape). -Lens is slightly fish-eye so it has a great coverage, more than I thought it would! Just a small camera covers my whole living room area with basically not much blind spots! Cons: -Another App! Might not be a con for you, but I have a smart home with tons of apps, so it's a tiny hassle to have to add another app instead of using a camera that already works with one of my other apps, but for the much cheaper price of a great camera, it's not too much of a bother in exchange. It's also a well made app so I don't have too much complaints about it!

It does the Job.

Received the home pro camera on time, App download and camera setup – took me a while to figure out it only works with 2.4G wifi network, the APP video instruction helps. I use it keep an eye on my cat when I am not at home, talk through the camera via the app on my phone and tablet. I am impressed by blurams APP, the notifications are marked as 3 different types, sound, human and motion, which is very helpful when I search on the video clips. The sound and video quality meet my expectation. Had in use for about a week, hopefully it will continue to work well.

Night vision mode is excellent.

Fantastic camera, regardless of the price! Night vision mode is very good. I love it. Image quality is very good. It looks to me like 1080p HD video. On my network it streams in full motion at a nice high frame rate. There's none of the jerky low frame rate video that I get from some of my other cameras. Color reproduction is quite good. incredibly easy setup. You just install the app on your phone, plug the camera in, push a button on the back, and then point the camera at a QR code the displays on your phone. Then you are prompted to enter the password for your wifi, and that's it. It literally takes 1 minute to set up, with no messing around with firewalls, routers, ports, etc. It's an absolute breeze.The motiion detection is simple and reliable. An optional push notification is sent to your phone. And you can go into the app and watch the recording. highly recommended this product！！

I LOVE This Little Camera!

This is a great camera at a great price. The setup was extremely easy. All you had to do was plug it in and download the app to connect it. I have an Android phone and after setup playback ran extremely smooth and clear. I mainly purchased this so I could check in on my pup from time to time, but obviously it makes a great security camera as well. The motion detection works very well and will send me an alert if it detects anything. I also really like the night mode, which, although switches to black and white, is very vibrant and easy to make things out. It's also a very wide field of view, making it perfect for those in a small apartment. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase. Setup was simple and picture quality is superb. What more could you ask for at this price point?

Small size with good catch

The folded size is very small. It can be installed on the wall or just sit on the table. Installation is easy, just install the blurams app and create a new account, follow the instruction step by step. I tried w/ and w/o light, static image and walking action, it can caught the clear picture. Not try cloud service yet, will do it in the future

great camera for the price point, sensors work great

I did not get paid or recieve free products for my review. Received these cameras 2 days ago, setup was a breeze , I've been trying a few different camera setups but so far I have one inside and one on my back patio (protected from the elements) . They function as advertised , everytime a firework went off last night it recorded clips . The night vision works well.. the free cloud storage for a month gives you 24 hour continuous loop and playback for up to 7 days . A previous review stated you can only set notifications to go every 10 minutes , which is not true , you can set it up to only give you notifications for movement, sound , or per detected . And you can set these where it'll only alert you every minute , every 10 minutes, 30 minutes or hour (perfect for me because I have 3 foster cats and they tend to set it off ).. picture quality is okay (most likely due to my cruddy internet) I believe with higher speed internet the video quality would be even better... however great camera for the price point , I had it set up in my front window and it would alert me to my neighbor in his garage across the street so the detection is actually great.. I purchased two and a 3 year protection plan and am quite pleased

So simple, even I could work it!

Wow, I cannot say enough good things about this camera! First, it was super simple to set up. Anyone who knows me also knows I have worse than horrible luck with technology. This worked perfectly. The picture is great quality and I even got notifications when someone/something moved in front of the camera or made a loud noise. We bought this to see what our teenager was up to while we were gone. It was fairly easy to hide although he found it on day 3. Lol it worked great. And even better, I found out I have a great kid!! (Admittedly I already knew that last part but I was a teenager once too...🤣) Overall, I would highly recommend this camera. It's priced great, great video quality and the app works perfectly. The only thing you need is a MICRO SD card and to download the app.

So good

Will buy more for sure I had some contractors working in my house and need a quick turn key solution to keep an eye on them, so I got two home security cams and plan to get at least two more. It’s reliable and the image quality is pretty awesome. Maybe it’s not as good as some of the more expensive cameras like nest, but it enough to my needs. This camera has to be the best value available right now.

Good for the price

These are great cameras for the price. I'm sure there are better camera out there, but for about $50 each, I can't complain. I do wish they made an outdoor version so they could all synch. The "alert areas" where it notifies you of motion is nice, helps eliminate some of the fake positives from our dog, but alerts say motion or human, so that's nice. Mic and speaker aren't the strongest, but get the job done... You can communicate with somebody in the room with a little effort. The alarm isn't very loud but will get your attention. The cords are only about 6' long, so you have to plan a little too mount.

Excellent addition to the family

I place one home camera in the garage, when my daughter comes home late and parks in the garage. I get an alert and simply open the app seeing she is parking. I'm able to talk and watch for her safety, even if I am only upstairs. ?Very useful to know remotely?who is,?thanks to the facial recognition and human detection. Two-way audio is another wonderful feature, the audio and video is superior to what I expected, my daughter talks back to me through the security camera. Cloud subscription is the best choice for its feature, you also can pop a 128GB SD card into this cam and get continuous local recording(meaning it's being recorded on the card in the device). You can still view your recordings in the app. hands down better than the other video monitors we've had, strongly recommend the smart? camera to anyone.?
