installed on my trailer tongue jack. After I got it replaced in a warrantee claim the new one was installed with an inline fuse that would blow when it was raised all the way to the top. Rather than take the jack apart to set the cut out switch (which shouldn't have been hard but my instruction manual is poor) I replaced the regular fuse with this one. Works like a charm, cuts out right away and resets 10 secs later.

This little thing was clearly better quality than the one the originally came on my Salem Lite trailer. Also the old one was a bear to get off because it was so corroded from the rust and road gunk that I had to drill it out. Hopefully that won't happen to this one because of the red silicone cover.

These circuit breakers are dead simple, inside is a bimetal switch that opens when it gets hot from being overdrawn. The best thing about this one is the rubber cover that allows you to install wires in any direction to this breaker. Once you bind your posts you just shove the cover on, and it is solid protection from shorts. I installed this breaker between my battery and my trailer brake controller, you want a self-resetting breaker and not a fuse, so that if you hard brake with your trailer and you heat up the wiring, you don't permanently lose power. You'll get brakes back when it all cools.

Works great and seems well made. Also a fair price. I bought it for use in updating my classic Chevy headlight wiring harness. Be careful when using self tapping screws in the side holes, you can end up drilling thru the plastic mount itself. I'm not quite sure what "sheerness" or "warmth" have to do with this circuit breaker but they're both getting five stars!

Had a manual reset-able breaker under the trailer. It got broken and had corrosion. Replaced with this one that is auto reset and has a rubber cover to shield the connectors. Not water tight or proof but better that the original. Direct replacement, nothing extra to purchase.

Great replacement for the main accessory fuse on my old Honda motorcycle. It's compact enough to fit in the factory fuse location. The soft rubber cover isn't water proof, but good enough to keep corrosion and water spray down to a minimum.

Great design. Nice to have a circuit breaker that can be mounted without having to wrap it in tons of tape to protect it.

What I like about this breaker is the cover. It looks like it will give good protection. I using it on a riding mower so the cover is a good option to have.

I wanted to add this relay into my Jeep's brake controller wiring, just in case. It's got an automatic reset, so if it trips, it'll reset on its own. The outer cover slips on tightly. Perfect for under the hood use on my Jeep.

Easy to install. Seems like the rubber cover will protect it a bit. Make sure you put it on in the right direction, as one terminal is copper and the other stainless. Tested ok on pop up camper.
