This sturdy, lightweight, portable chair worked really well when I flew to South Padre Island for my 10 day beach vacation. Took up very little space in my suitcase. Sets up easily but you do need to have good hand strength, especially the first couple times. I ordered the additional bottom piece which fits snugly over the bottom of the 4 legs. This prevents the chair from sinking into the sand. When folded up, the chair easily fit into my oversized beach bag. It was so lightweight and easy to carry to & from the beach which was a 3 block round trip walk from the condo. I'm a medium to large size woman in my late 60's, and it is very comfortable for me to sit in. I've seen other lightweight, portable chairs, but they are awkward to carry even when folded and are way too big to pack. Once this chair is removed from the carrying bag, it's a liitle awkward putting it back in so I didn't bother with it. I just rolled the chair cover around the folded, Velcro secured legs and put it in my beach bag for carrying back to the condo. The folded up chair would also fit nicely into a medium sized backpack. The carrying bag would probably work just fine, but I thought putting it in my beach bag would be quicker.

Bought this to carry to a weekend event in the mountains where there would be exhibits, booths, etc., but no place to sit & rest for a while if needed. I will be honest & say I was very skeptical as to whether I was going to like the chair or not as they don't look comfortable, especially for a plus size lady that isn't as young as she used to be. I was pleasantly surprised yesterday when the chair arrived - thank goodness. It was easy to set up & take down, thanks to the finger straps at every pole sleeve. And to my amazement it was decently comfortable. Don't get me wrong, it's not as comfortable a higher chair with a padded seat and hard arms to assist in getting up, etc. But for it to be so light & pack up so small it is definitely a good chair. It even fits in my purse so I don't have to carry it separately or strap or carabine it to anything, as my husband will have to do with his Helinox. And compared to the weight of one of those padded, higher chairs that weigh at least 11-13 lbs., (usually more), this will be a dream to carry around all day. I put it together, added the sand cover I also bought as it's supposed to be muddy at the venue, & just sat around in it for a while. I rocked, leaned, got up & down, etc., & it really worked quite well. The cost is great compared to most of the ultra light camping chairs on Amazon so I am very happy with my purchase decision. If my opinion changes over the weekend I will be sure to update this post.

I bought one Trekology YIZI GO Portable Camping Chair in red and one in blue in order to enjoy comfortable seating while waiting in long lines at Comic-con 2018 in San Diego. I expected to receive 2 identical products that simply had different colors. I was surprised to find that that compared to the blue version of the same chair, the red one lacked “assistant loops” to help pull the chair fabric over the top (rear) seat posts, and the red one also lacked 2 web cup-holder pockets that came on the blue chair. I should note that the blue chair I received had a manufacturing defect: one of the chair’s “assistant loops” was actually sewn onto the seat’s reinforcement seam. Snipping the errant threads with a pair of sewing scissors managed to free the loop without damaging the reinforcement seam, so no harm done. The above differences, aside, I’d happily buy this chair, again: The loops weren’t really necessary (the fabric pulls over the top posts just fine without the need for further assistance), and the cup-holders were hardly essential. The chair’s incredibly light-weight and compact when folded, yet supportive and comfortable to sit in. I’m a 220-pound male, and the chair held me, just fine, with no sign of stress. This was my first purchase of super-foldable camp chairs of this sort. I’ve many of the older-style, collapsible fabric sports chairs. comparatively, I found these Trekology camp chairs more comfortable and much lighter and more compact when folded. Learning to set up and tear down these chairs was not difficult, but it did take lots of practice to do so, quickly — as when picking up the chair and folding it while walking in line. I’d definitely purchase either the red or blue Trekology chair again, without reservation.

Super comfortable, love the adjustable legs for when I want to be low to the ground to extend my legs, yet the seat itself is designed with the right "pocket" to hold you cushy like without pushing you out. What a difference an additional few square inches of material can make, unlike the brands that are a few bucks cheaper but you feel real awkward in the seat. This is a small chair, but it's meant to be - for portability! If you want something to lounge in then maybe you can't compromise and need to get the bigger chairs with armrests that can't really fold up. You know, clunky lakeside stuff. BUT my suggestion is to get the red version of this chair with the high back. Trekology is crushing it on the sleek design and comfort.

After looking at several of these camping chairs and reading the reviews, it looked like the 2nd price tier where this little guy fits in was just as good as the top price level. So why spend more than you need to? I bought this for camping for sure, but also because of it's size when packed down. I wanted something that would easily fit in my motorcycle panniers, and this is perfect. The weight is not bad either. As for comfort, I'm amazed actually. It's the first of these I have had, but may have sat in one in a local REI before. You can sit pretty close to the fire pit to stay warm and be at a perfect position for using your laptop on your thighs and the super durable canvas material takes the heat just fine. Nothing is poking me in my ribs or back or anything. Just total 100% suspension of my weight. Assembly is very easy as well. You fully snap the frame together and then use a slight bit of elbow grease to pull the corners over the ends into place. Not a big deal. If I had a gripe at all it would be that figuring out the best way to fold all the legs back into themselves so it easily fits into the carrying case is sometimes difficult. But the goal is just to get it in the case, and you can't hurt anything if you have to use a little force to pull that feat off, so not a huge deal.

This beautiful gadget fits comfortably in my backpack. Setting up the chair is almost magically fast. With a little practice, you can simply rotate the central rod of the frame in your hand until all the legs and seat supports snap into place - amazing onlookers. The smooth finish on the aluminum rods gives the feel of fine craftsmanship. The rugged fabric seat fits snugly over the supports with just the right amount of tension. Ok, the *first* time you set it up, you will spend a few minutes double checking that all the frame joints are in place. Then it will be a struggle to get the seat on the first time because the new canvas is quite stiff - and you aren't sure which way it goes (the logo goes at the top). Putting the seat away again takes much longer. Each joint has to be individually "dislocated" and folded, and folding the fabric seat to fit in the bag is tricky. Don't be too excited to try it out - carefully note (or photograph) how the frame and seat were folded at the factory.

Waited to write this review until I used the chair in mexico for 5 weeks. Loved the chair. My husband and I each took one in our checked luggage on the plane. We used it at our beach rental almost daily during our stay. The legs are easy to adjust, the chair easy to put together, lightweight and easy to carry. We left it put together for most of our stay, put our towels, book, lotion in the seat and carried it down to the beach. We worried about the sand making the legs "stick", but to our surprise it was easy to empty out the sand and adjust the legs. We would read for a few hours in the chair and found them completely comfortable. He liked the legs a little higher, me a little lower. When we went to repack the chair the sand came out of legs quickly and the chair packed away with ease. We highly recommend the chair for compact size and ease of use. We hope to have many more years of use.

This little chair is awesome. I bought it for motorcycle camping. I needed something that packed small. I am 6' 6" and huge. 360 pound power lifter. My big butt fits right in it. I sit down veeeeeery carefully because it is only rated to 300 pounds, but things like this are always over engineered. I'm sure it will be fine as long as I don't "plop" down on it. I was worried that the bars would gouge into my large hips. Nope. Totally comfortable. :-) I think that lady who did the review with the fast motion video and had a hard time putting it together was on some meds mixed with alcohol or something. It took me literally 8 seconds to put the thing together. lol It folded up easy and went right back into the package provided. Perfect. 5 stars.

When weight and space are an issue, and having a comfy place to sit by the fire is wanted, this chair fits the bill. It's lightweight, compact, easy to set up, and very sturdy. I'm a very large guy, and I've packed on the pounds over the holiday season (240); but this chair supports my weight with no issues and is extremely comfortable. My buddies have the REI and Moon Lence equivalent camp chairs, which I tested after getting my chair. The REI worked well for my skinny friend, but I felt that it would collaspe under me at any second. The Moon Lence chair supported me well, but provided no back support, and after a few minutes of sitting in it I had a sore back. Both of my buddies were jealous of the adjustable legs; while they were looking for flat spots at camp, or leveling their chairs by putting rocks under the legs, all I had too do was press a button and extend the front legs to keep level. The adjustable legs were also nice to help regulate my posture. If I wanted more back support, I extended the rear legs which caused me to sit more upright; and I extended the front legs if I wanted to be in a more reclined/lounge type position. This is chair is perfect, and it will be my luxury item on short backpacking trips, and it will always have a spot on car camping trips.

I admit I was skeptical upon ordering this chair. It boasted of a 300 lb. weight limit and an adjustable height, After receiving and trying it out I immediately ordered 2 more for our camper. It is solid, and that's coming from a guy that weighs 245 lb.s. It is also tall enough on the highest setting that standing up isn't a struggle like with most camp chairs where your butt is only an inch off the ground. Great product!
