I’m Delighted With My Purchase!

My cuttings arrived swaddled between fluffy packing which was easily removed. Each cutting is in perfect condition, colorful, nice and plump. Without a doubt the best mail delivered plants/cuttings I’ve ever purchased. All specimens are ready to root, meaning the cut area is dry and firm. The selection of succulents is very interesting, with a variety of leaf textures and colors from bright green, purple green, red, purple, red-tipped green. Leaves are smooth, round and pointed to notched and striped. It’s a great buy! Update: A few days later.......With each cutting now potted up for a few days they are “opening up” and appear much like you would find a potted plant at a flower shop. They’ve already ceased to have that cutting look. One more star!

Wonderful selection and packaged incredibly well!

The package came a bit earlier than the soonest it indicated, and I was incredibly happy with the variety of cuttings I received! They were well-protected the way they were transported, and I only had one tiny little leaf fall of of one of the plants. They were all in good health when I received them. They were packaged in what was fairly close to that fake spider-web stuff people use as a halloween decoration, except it was much easier to pull apart/less stretchy. So it was very soft, and served as wonderful padding. There was a generous amount of the stuff below the plants and above them, and it was kind of stuffed into the box (it very slightly popped out when I opened it) to create a very gentle pressure so the plants weren't being crushed, but they also were definitely not going to be rattling or bouncing around in the delivery vehicle. I did unfortunately notice a couple of mealy bugs nibbling on one of them a few days after I got them planted and went to check its roots. I didn't notice anything on the succulents when I got them, but they can be almost invisible to the naked eye when they're small and I've never had the issue before so I think there may have been a couple of very small eggs that survived the transport on that one plant. If I was thinking about it, I would have disinfected each of the plants (probably with some 70% isopropyl alcohol or watered-down hydrogen peroxide out of a mister) before I planted them after I got them unpacked. I debugged and disinfected that plant, its pot, and its potting mix (all synthetic material; no organic substrate) once I noticed and now it's doing fine. Would recommend that you disinfect them upon receiving (and then just rinse off with a bit of water).

Outstanding

The pieces of perfect they are fresh and plump everything I expected and more. They are not the full plant with root, they are cuttings..... please make sure you know how to root cuttings before you buy this product if not you're going to be disappointed, but that will only be because you don't know what you're doing to get them to give you roots.

Exactly want I wanted

I'm super happy with this order. I received 10 unique succulents in perfect condition. They all look super healthy. It was packaged very well in a small box with cotton surrounding all the plants so nothing got damaged. I got a nice variety of types as well. Some of these I can't find at my local garden center and the ones I can come at a better price in this bundle.

Clippings, need to be rooted but so colorful and great variety

First order came not as expected. I contacted the seller and they responded immediately, within an hour and send a new set of succulents the next day. Seller is a pleasure to work with. The variety of plants and quality is great. Keep in mind that these are clippings so you’ll need to root them. My 2.5 yo son helped me plant this batch. He’ll be watching them grow as he is learning about plants at his preschool.

This was a very-well packaged assortment and I'm very happy! I looked up directions online about proper growing because I know succulents are finnicky and no instructions were included.

Ive ordered succulents from The Succulent Cult both potted and cuttings. They are beautiful, fresh and packed with love and care. Ive had more luck with potted for making mistakes with my cuttings. I have a few suggestions for begginers like me so you wont make the same mistakes as I did and killed 3 of my cuttings. Ive read alot and see alot of videos related to succulent care and propagation but theres alot thats never mention: #1 If you are new to succulents and feel you want to propagate to multiply your plants you are better off buying more cuttings or better yet succulent in pots already rooted. #2 Wait to your succulents are big and healthy enough to start plucking its leaves for propagation because since its done from the bottom and if the stem has not calloused by the time you water the plant it will start to rot a few days after watering. #3 Leave the landscaping, gravel, sand, rocks, decoration again for when your plant is bigger and healthier. I had problems knowing when my succulents need water because I cant see the soil underneath the landscape to know when its dry etc. #4 If your cutting dont have a stem just sit it directly on top of the soil with a gentle push down. Dont pluck out leaves to have a stem because again your plant will rot after watering because its wounds have not calloused over yet. #5 Dont be too quick to pluck those dying leaves as this occurs at the bottom and again since the wound wont calous for a few days it will rot soon after watering. Just let the leaf fall on its own. If I remember anything else or learn something new I will surely update so all you newbies like me can be succesful with their new babies without harming them.
