Great tool

I kept getting worried that my littlest had an ear infection but didn’t want to keep taking him in to be told it was prob just teeth. But I also didn’t want to miss a real infection. I ordered this to give myself a little peace of mind. It was easy to set up and use. It took a little bit to figure out what I was looking for in the ear but after a while I figured it out. I highly suggest getting one of these if you have little kids, especially if they’re prone to ear infections.

Very easy to use

This otoscope is super easy to use. Just download an app and that's it. Pros: *Small attachments fit into children's ears *connects to phone via wifi so there are not extra cords in the way *can take pictures or video while exploring the ear canal or nasal passage. This is great for tracking infections or to send a pic to the doctor. *2 different picture resolutions *light adjustment allows for the perfect amount of light to see ear drum *comes in a hard protective case to keep everything organized and safe *works for a long time without needing to be charged *my kids love to be able to view my phone to see inside their ears, something they cannot do with a traditional otoscope. *long handle allows for greater control Suggestion: *To make sure the camera is facing the correct direction, I reccomend pointing it at a face or something that has an "upside." Then it will be easier to navigate the ear canal. This is definitely something every parent should have. It will save a lot of trips to the doctor.

Otoscope - great for closeups in ear...

The Otoscope was a bit difficult to connect to the WiFi (instructions could have been a little more clear) but after the connection was made, the tool worked just fine. I needed to find an adapter that handles 5V (not included) before I could charge the unit. The pictures are clear and it will take me a few more times using the unit to be 100% comfortable. I like the attachments that come with the unit to zero in on parts of the ear that are being targeted. It does the job.

A parenting must!

Highly recommend for parents. My daughter has an ear infection but the doctor said it’s filled with wax and that after ten days on the antibiotics they can flush it out but will take a while I looked into at home options after she said she couldn’t hear and peroxide wasn’t working. This is amazing very crisp picture you can see in the canal very clearly and it eliminated the worry of pressing wax further in or hurting her because I could actually see inside her ear on my iPad without having to make her wait so long to be seen again to have her ear cleaned out.

This is the funnest and coolest thing I’ve used in a long time. My husband didn’t believe that his ears looked horrible and once I showed him he had me clean them because he was grossed out. It’s easy to get started and it gives you a nice clean and up close view. It also has different brightness levels Incas enough are getting too washed out, and a button on the device that will snap a picture. My daughter had fun using it as well and I was able to use it to show her the plaque left on her molars when she didn’t do a good job brushing. It will be great for investigating those area that you can’t get a good angle to see and it was a great purchase.

bought for a gift

so, I actually bought this as a gift, so it has not been tested out as of yet. But I do know that it came packaged real nicely, as a matter of fact I am super impressed with the quality of the device. I watched the reviewer video, which really seemed more like a commercial for a few other items, but it shows real well how this device works, so I am happy about that. After I give this as a gift, I will write a follow response of how the recipient likes it, and how well it works.

I know it's not a toy but its actually fun

This thing is so much cooler than i thought it would be. Im probably in the minority here, but being able to see inside your body where your eyes normally cannot view is super cool (former nursing student here). My whole life ive had major ear issues (swimmers ear, multiple infections per yr even as an adult and impactions). Ive wanted to get one of these scopes for a while now to help clear out impactions easier. I need some practice with it but I'm glad i got this. Def recommend

super easy to set up

This is almost plug and play from your phone to set up. The only part of the instruction that was unclear is the part that tells you to connect to the internet. It should say to connect your phone to their wifi which does show as an available network . I was trying to connect to my wifi network at first. as soon as I selected their network, it pre populated the network and password info and a picture was visible on my phone screen. The picture are crisp and the camera has adjustable lighting around the tip to light any area you wish to see. It comes with removable tips that can be cleaned after use so you can use it on the whole family. Great for use on small children complaining of an ear ache, Also great for home use like peering into the garbage disposal to see what has fallen in that should not be there. It also comes in handy when you need a serial number or phone number that is too small to read. Just take a picture and enlarge it to see it better.

Great Little Device!

This otoscope is great! It took me a little bit to figure out how to connect the WiFi, but once I did, we’ve had no trouble getting it to work. We’ve been able to clear out some pretty severe blockages from a few ears. It’s been fascinating to actually get a good look into our ears to see what’s going on. Very glad I made this purchase!

Versatile camera & great images

I bought this so I could look in mine & my daughter’s ears. I work in the medical field & my kids never want to go to school & complain about ear aches. Now I have the proof when they are faking without wasting a trip to MD. It comes with a wifi function that connects it to your phone. I have an IPhone & my husband an Android & it worked with both. I did download the WiFi Image App to go with it. I could take photos and record images in your ears for your own use or to send to your doctors/ medical friends for advice. It is a little bit of a learning curve when controlling the camera. I think that was the hardest part but it did take good pictures. Sometimes if they were blurry, you can change the settings on it. It is pretty self explanatory when using the light or taking a picture with it. It was really neat to use & I plan on using it a lot. Not just for ears but for looking in throats & at my own ear piercings that I can’t see on my own when I am replacing my earrings.
