This dash cam was very easy to set up. Battery had a full charge. It comes with a car USB charger and a cigarette lighter charger. Product is great and good quality.the price is so good！very recommend!!!!!

Very easy assemble , suction good .

It’s smaller than the one I already have for the other car, however, that one costs more than a hundred dollars, the small design makes it takes less room , but you need to prepare for smaller vision area as well, picture is clear , I tested in my garage for night vision view , not bad.what i like most it’s very easy to assemble and the suction is very strong. Overall , it ‘s a good product for this price. But I just realized I need to buy SIM card with it. Go buy it forehead if you want to buy this product to avoid delay of using

Great and low price.

I wanted to put a video cam in my wife's vehicle, so after reading all the reviews, I decided on this Insignia product. The video quality is excellent and the night vision is also excellent, as I have tested it driving day and night in all types of lighted and dark conditions, and then removed the Micro SD Card and watched the video on my home computer and I was amazed in the clarity of the video! For the cost of this Insignia Dash Cam, it will do the job for you. Setup is very easy, as a child in the 4th. grade can hook it up! I do see other Dash Cams which cost hundreds of dollars more, but I cannot see what the major difference would be, as this Insignia Dash Cam is a great buy for the money!

This is a nice, well made camera.

Very nice camera given the price. It’s very lightweight and about the size of a roll of gift wrapping tape, very discreet. The power cable is plenty long and allows to plug in a usb table to charge your phone. The cam. captures a wide view and covers my entire windshield when mounted by the mirror.

Dash cam works Excellent!

Because the next person who hits me will be on camera. It works great, records excellent video and audio with time and date stamps. Every time my ignition turns on I hear the ring of it starting to power on and record. When I turn off the car and just about when I go to shut my door I hear the ring of it turning off. Running the power wire and finding a nice place to stick the camera on my windshield took some planning and forethought but that'd be true for any dash cam. So far I've posted two videos from it online and shared a video of a semi truck driver with the state police. When you hit the brakes it takes pictures as it records video... which is nice for accidents or sharing the Moose you almost hit in Vermont. I recommend cleaning a spot on the windshield really good before installing the suction cup mount. I chose to mount it on the right side of my rear view mirror because that space in the windshield is already blocked by the mirror. I bought the specified type and max size SD Card and it works perfectly to transfer video and pics from the camera to my computer. I gave it four stars on the battery, it doesn't last more than three minutes without being plugged in. Durability gets four stars because I feel like the SD card slot wasn't well engineered for long term durability.

The image quality is pretty good at night. The camera does not have night vision, but make up with the WDR, HDR features. (Note: make sure the inside of your windshield is clean, unlike mine.) The dash camera was very neatly packaged. Very slink design with the black matte finish. No over-complicated glossy design, this is what a dash camera should look like. It has a nice 3' in display screen, it's not a touch screen but it's nice to have a big screen to navigate the menus. The instructions are pretty simple, also in multiple languages. The cables included are long enough to run around the car neatly. The included charging cable has a built-in USB charging port, which great if you only have one cigarette lighter receptacle. There are two different types of mounts included (1) is a suction cup the other is a sticky pad. Suction cup mount has two adjustments nobs which are very easy to use to get the correct angle. The suction mount has a twist to secure feature I like when locking the suction cup in place. The menu is easy to navigate, tons of great features built-into this camera like motion detection, seamless loop recording and parking monitor. It took me about 15 minutes to install and run the cabling through the car.

I want these in all my vehicles

This is exactly what I was expecting, small yet is easy to use even without reading the instructions because men don’t really read them anyway. I got 2 of these one facing forward and one facing me to protect me from the unscrupulous police officers that claim infractions like seatbelt so I have proof because video is king these days since we are all considered criminals in the eyes of officers. I will update if I have any negative issues with this in the future

Easy to set up and great video quality

Over the last few years I have purchased 4 dash cams of 2 different brands. One brand was complete junk. The second brand was OK but it was over $100 and not near as good as the FlatLED. The set-up was similar in all 3 brands (fairly simple). The FlatLED has a great picture. I found that the night vision was amazing. I could see things on the camera better than I could with my eyes! Like most of these cameras, the unit is not made for use on the battery. It has to be hooked up to the power adapter because the battery life is measured in seconds. This seemed to be true on all of the cameras I've had. This isn't a problem for me. The construction of the unit seems to be good. I've only had it for a few weeks, so time will tell. I put some window tint on the windshield above the camera to protect it from the sun. I know that heat can kill even the best electronic items. I plan to buy another FlatLED C450A for my 2nd vehicle. I don't think I could find anything else close to this price that works this good. In fact, I don't think I'd find anything better even if price was no object. I initially had a problem and contacted Customer Care. They quickly solved my problem. It was a bad sd card and not a problem with the camera. I am COMPLETELY SATISFIED.Read less
