I bought this after one of my cheaper card readers had failed on me- assuming it was because I began to use larger CF cards (32 GB) and it was just unable to read that kind of size, and when it did, it would create glitches on my images. But this one works well and so far I’ve had zero problems! It’s heavy duty, which is just what I prefer when it comes to something as expensive as photography, whether it’s your career or you’re just a hobbyist.

Works with my iPad and solves a bunch of issues.

So my new iPad only has usb-c, so I need to be able to read cards from my camera. This solves the issues, plus has a few other slots - haven't used them yet. It is portable and so far good. I should pint out, that I only use this for camera stuff with my iPad, I tried doing some file management with it, and it didn't seem to work, but I think that may be a limitation of the iPad - not sure.

There really isn't a whole lot more to say about this device besides the fact that it works as expected. The seller shipping was great, arrived well packaged, and quickly. Nothing negative to say. I wish I would have found this years ago! I've tried multiple SD card readers and none of them are as easy to use and as slick looking as this one. It works perfectly and is essential if you travel with a camera that does not have wifi.
