This purchase was a recommendation from my dentist who suggested me to try out this online version, before investing in a custom made guard which can be quite expensive. He was right in saying so. This mouth guard works out perfectly. No more grinding during the night and no more pain in the morning. Reading the moulding instructions can be intimidating, but it is actually super easy. You have to pay attention to the right temperature and the time the piece is in the water. But everything else works out automatically. I definitely support the recommendation of my dentist and suggest anyone to try moulding a guard yourself before purchasing a custom made. There is a huge difference in price but no losses in quality and function!

Fitted my small mouth

I have a comparatively small mouth and worried I will not find a good fit, as they always look quite bulky in the pictures. However this one comes in two sizes and the smaller one was perfect for my mouth. I cut off a little from the ends before molding. The tray fitted perfectly in the end. I pressed quite hard to thin it out a little, so I can completely close my mouth and all parts are even. The second one in the small size I use occasionally to whiten my teeth with whitening gel. This is a quite cheap alternative to many other products. It really helped me eliminating the headaches I have from clenching my teeth at night. Definitely worth to try out before turning to the more expensive models.
