It does FEET AND INCHES!!!!

Many units do decimal feet (along with decimal meters and sometimes decimal inches). This unit does all of the above, including feet and inches including 1/16th of inches. This is very very useful! I have not read the instruction manual (yet) because it is in tiny type (use a magnifier!), but have had no trouble making basic measurements. To use more advanced features, no doubt I will (have to) read the manual.. :) Very bright and easy to read display.

Most Accurate Device - TACLIFE

Perfect Measurement reading. I love it. I need to bring it to work everyday from now. It's easy to use and adds up two different distances. I measured my room with a tape measure, then use my TACKLIFE device to measure it, and the outcomes is the same. I added the two measurement photos that the device took to show you the exact measurement of my room. Nice invention and convenient and efficient. I would recommend to all the interior designers, sign manufacture companies, print shops, and many many more occupations.

Compack and easy to use for interior measurement.

Overall an excellent measuring tool for approximate estimate of distance and volume. It is compact and reliable, and nice features of area/volume calculation function. It does have limited accuracy in precision measurement when measuring 20-30 feet distance tho. Packaging is on the cheap end, menu is small in printing, but for its price, the LDM08 is a good buy for interior use.

Digital laser tape measure that's intuitive and easy to use.

I really like the Digital laser tape measure. The product arrive very fast. It come with batteries. I put the battery in. Turn on the device, pointed to a wall where I wanted to measure. I press the measure button once, it beeps, but no number, you can see a laser dot on where you want to measure. I press the measure button again. It beeped again and a number in ft shows. You can change the unit. I measured the same distance twice. It is quite repeatable with difference only <0.01 ft. which can be accounted by my hand position or angle change. It also come with a water leveler. The device shut off automatically in a few minutes. The device is easy and intuitive to use, meet my expectation.

Cool tool

I bought this for my dad and he thinks this is the coolest thing. He works in the pool industry, and alot of times he has to work alone, which makes doing things complicated... such as measuring things - like perimeters, height, length, and area of pools! He said this tool helps A LOT and works better than a tape measure. This thing also measures up to something like 130+ feet, which is crazy and more than enough.

I bought the Tacklife laser distance meter to be able to easily measure distances inside and outside of my house. This is a life saver for taking measurements to replace our flooring. It not only takes a single measurement for distance, it can take multiple measurements and calculate area and volume. It has a great laser spotter that lets you know for sure what object you are measuring to. It also has a hold and memory feature so you don’t have to write down even multiple measurements. You can switch from meters to feet or inches. It came with 2 AAA batteries, a belt clip and a wrist strap, but I was unable to get the loop through the tiny holes. However, it’s small enough to easily fit in your pocket and weighs less than a 25 ft. tape measure. It has a built-in battery meter and I have noticed some drop in battery life after only a short time of using it. I also notice a couple of times that it took a little while before it started showing the distance measurement. I have one other laser tape measure, but it doesn’t have the additional features that this one has for area and volume and it doesn’t store multiple measurements, so I will always use this one from now on. Using this to quickly measure and map my home. I have no idea how accurate it is in outdoor daylight or over long distances, but inside and for distances under 40' it seems perfect. My only gripe is that it defaults to metric units every time you power cycle, but this is fast and easy to change so no stars removed. I have used much more expensive laser distometers from Bosch and Hilti: if you are going to beat the hell out of your laser on a construction site this may be a little light duty for you, but for a home owner this is the thing to buy.

Amazing laser measure!

This laser measure is amazing! It is very convenient and easy to use. Last year, when I installed the wood floor for my rental house, I used a tape measure to measure the whole house, 700 sqft, including four bedrooms, living room, family room, kitchen and hallways. It took me about an hour to finish it. If I had this laser measure at that time, ten minutes is enough. It can switch among meter, inch and foot. It can use not only to measure the distance, but also does auto area or volume measurement. These functions are really surprised me. I love this laser tool.

Tacklife Advanced Laser Measure 131 Ft Digital... TACKLIFE

I plan on remodeling a couple of fairly large size rooms in my house. The 1st thing I have to do is measure the rooms. This laser measuring device makes it a one person job, it is easy to use, and it is accurate. I can say nothing bad about it.

Easy to use, accurate, speeds up your measuring and calculations

This laser measure is really easy to use and has some great functions. Other than straight lines it can also calculate areas and volumes on the spot. As much as I prefer a standard tape measure, I use this laser measure for the time savings. The buttons are rubber and the backlit screen is easy to read. The buttons are also labeled with pictures that are easy to understand. The added bubble level is very important as a straight line measurement is usually desired. The belt clip is a nice addition but I dont use it much. I do use the wrist strap every time to avoid drops. The wrist strap can be easily installed if the battery door is removed! Overall the laser feels sturdy and the hard rubber body provides a good grip. This tool can also account for its length if needed which is a must have on a device like this. It was hard to transition away from a standard tape measure, and i do still carry one. But this laser measure speeds up the process and is very accurate.
