Cleared check engine light

Decided to get this, as it had a few more bells and whistles than cheaper options. Had a check engine light on my 2007 Honda Civic. Pros: Plug and play. Plugged it in and there is an indicator light to show it has power, which is nice. The app is user friendly, and intuitive. Showed the codes with an explanation. Cleared the code. Cons: proprietary app. Can't be used with other diagnostic apps. Not a big deal, as the app works well. The unit is a little more expensive than some other OBD readers, but has a battery checker and some other functions. Overall, got the job done and I'm happy with my purchase.

Awesome that it's bluetooth!

This is exactly what you need when your car is having issues. It makes it so much easier to explain what is wrong and what you need when calling your mechanic. Is comprehensive and very easy to use. Highly recommend always having one on hand.

One of the most useful car diagnostic tool I’ve ever owned. Thanks for its super portable size design, i can always put it into my jacket pocket whenever it's necessary for reading codes, and do diagnose to my vehicle, which is 2014 Toyota Corolla .I have to say it does good job on my car, it's very easy to use,you can firstly find the OBD connector and plug the unit cable into that connector. Reading the manual before use it, and it well help you more easily to do the work.In short, it's a excellent choice for the guys, who want to do it yourself car maintenance.

Really Cool.

I have never owned one of these before. I thought I couldn't figure it out as a senior, non tech inclined woman. I was wrong. It was very easy to follow the installation instruction and use on my phone. Bluetooth recognized it immediately and all the info on my car, including the Vin # popped right up. And even better, my car is in excellent condition. Makes me feel safer.

Easy to setup and use

This scanner is so easy to setup and use! It paired with my phone without any problems and was able to read my vehicle information. It will be great to be able to read my own codes from now on and no what the problem is before taking the car into the shop, if for no other reason, to make it more difficult to be taken advantage of with phony repair recommendations.

Great little OBD2 scanner!

This little scanner works great! Paired with my phone easily, and immediately picked up my vehicle info. You can view all airflow, oxygen, throttle position, timing sensors, etc. in real time. Per the instructions, device will list the codes, and then you input them in another section of the app to find out what it is. There is an option to clear codes, too. I didn't have any codes thrown off at the time, but I searched for common ones on Google, and they matched up when I put them in. I may just leave it plugged full time for the real time readings. A great price for DIY'ers.

Takes some effort but gets the diagnostic info.

There is some figuring out to this scanner. I’m getting a handle on it after some research and working with it. I believe I will be able to get the diagnostic info I’m trying for. In the end it will get me what I need to know. I’m happy with the purchase.

Great unit with vast amount of info

Package was easy to open and plugged right in. HELPFUL TIP FOR iOS USERS: enable Bluetooth then load app. Click the upside down “V” button at top (where it says connect) to view Bluetooth devices to connect to, and connect to the Autophix device. Do not go into iOS settings and try to connect to Bluetooth. The device did not appear there for me at all. The instructions did not seem to be correct. After connecting, the app worked great! I was able to quickly remove my oil change light. There is a lot of other useful information too. I would only recommend paying this much if you understand all the technical jargon. I don’t understand most of the info that the app offers. It’s a lot! Could be very useful for someone with more knowledge. I just needed it to remove oil change light. The app is very sleek and intuitive. The only thing I don’t like is you can’t record a trip while using all functions on the app.

It's a powerful and durable scanner.

It's absolutely a professional code reader i've owned, very easy to connect and use, my device is iPhone X, it seems works fine on iPhone IOS. Besides, this reader more accurate than my old one, it importantly tells what the possible problems are with the vehicle, even when i found nothing abnormal.All in all, it's a powerful and durable scanner.
