Nice surface for chasing hammer

It does just what it's supposed to, and the surface is good for my chasing hammer on fine metals. Shipping was prompt. I've learned to use a small flat leather "sand bag" beneath it to muffle the noise. It's a handy and essential tool for the jewelry I make so I'm glad I found a good one!
