Beautiful leather! Highly recommend. We cut this leather in half and used the two pieces for protection under our two rectangle shaped iron lamps. Worked perfectly.

Received as Described

I bought two pieces of leather. As I bend or shape the leather, it changes color, giving it an antique look (a sign of quality). Both pieces appear as if cut from the same hide. The thickness also seems to uniform throughout. Flexible, but sturdy enough to keep its shape. Great quality. I hope the seller will put larger pieces on Amazon.

This leather worked great to cover a self bow handle. Really makes the bow handle feel and look good.

Good leather

It is a nice dark reddish brown and looks very lovely. The red is very prevalent when the leather has been creased or stretched. I can definitely recommend if that’s what you’re looking for. Just don’t be like me and not measure properly so you have to make 3+ orders of the stuff because you keep running out of material lol.

Wonderful leather, great for carving.

Beautiful Leather, Wonderful for carving. Thick, so a little hard to sow with, but I loved it. It is wonderful, I have nothing but praise! Just ordered a second piece :) I made a belt pouch, and will soon make more.

Beautiful Full-Grain Leather.

I have never worked with leather before, but I wanted a high quality envelope to hold watercolor paper for when I paint outdoors. It was important to me for the leather to be full-grain because I wanted it to hold up to the elements, and last a long time. Quick note: Full-grain leather is the full hide. If you sand the outermost part off, you have thinner, Top-Grain leather. If you sand that off, you have Genuine Leather. (You need to emboss it with an artificial texture to make it look like leather.) I mention that because this is definitely Full-Grain leather. And it’s gorgeous. This leather arrived two days after I purchased it, and it’s lovely! I ran out and picked up a sewing awl. I used a drafting compass to mark and punch holes for sewing. I cut the leather with an Exacto knife, and made this pouch in an evening. It wasn’t as hard as I thought, and I’m excited to take it out when I go camping in a few weeks. This is beautiful, thick, full-grain leather. I am thinking about getting a larger one to make a bigger pouch - but I want to test this one out first so I know what to do differently on the next one.

Great for leather projects - very thick!

I bought this to patch a hole on my leather motorcycle race suit. I can say, do not buy this to patch anything other than something super thick! It is just not soft and flexible enough. It is great quality and would be perfect for leather projects that require thick leather. It is somewhat flexable, it's just it is so thick that it too stiff for most repair patches. I did use it for a patch and it's working, it's just not as flexable as the leather it is attached to.

Really nice quality. Just as deescrided and the color was accurate. Used it to wet mold a holster and it was just right.

Excellent Condition, Great Color Selection, Perfect Thickness

Great leather and in EXCELLENT condition when it arrived! We use leather for inserts in wooden boxes we make--for a nice soft landing space for whatever items you place in them (such as dice or keys). We saw the variety of color options from this seller and went ahead and purchased several colors. We were very impressed with the color and how nice each piece arrived. Each was packaged well in it's own package and there were no scuffs or scratches or bends at all which is amazing! One side is nice and soft and has a natural soft leather feel--the other side is smooth like a biker jacket. This is exactly what we were looking for! Perfect for leather tooling details.
