Easy to set up, great for organization
The main feature of the Ibi Photo Manager is the ability to share photos privately among your family and friends. Instead of needing to upload to semi-public and public spaces such as social media sites, you can create a private space in the cloud to share photos and videos. The Ibi is a small device the size of a can of tomatoes. It plugs into the wall socket and connects to your WiFi anywhere in the house or office where you have Wifi signal. Then it lets you gather photos and videos from phones, social media, the cloud and store them in a group with your family and friends that you invite to your circle. This is the difference between, say, cloud storage such as Google Drive or Amazon Photos. I use those a lot but they are not as automatic and many don't share access. With Ibi you can set up shared albums and upload and access from your mobile devices, desktop and view in browser from the Web. Set up is easy--same as putting any device on your WiFi and using an app on your phone or tablet. You can upload photos from any type of device including USB thumb drives, camera, phone, hard drive, etc. You get roughly 2 Terabytes of hard drive space which Western Digital claims is enough for about a half a million photos or 200 hours of video. If you have a family or large circle of active friends who share photos and videos, this could be very nice to keep at Mom's house or whomever is the avid photographer. The entire family can share photos and create albums for parties or events. For families with a lot of kids, grandkids, cousins, friends, this could be a great way to share moments without having to have issues with social media for those who wish for more privacy.

Easy to share
I would give this a 10 if that was possible. You definitely have ti be patient adding your photos. I had to add a little at a time but once they are in it is wonderful! So easy to share with friends & family. Absolutely love it!!!!!!!

Convenient way to keep your photos backed up
This is a nice all-in-one-place to store your photos automatically from your phone and other online sources like Facebook. Setting it up took a few minutes and I had to reset it to get it to finally connect to my phone via the app, but after that it was very responsive and quick to begin the photo downloads from my phone. I have a LOT of photos and videos, so finally having a convenient place to store and find them was very helpful. You can also connect a USB drive directly to the IBI and let it download the pictures from there. Setting up a photo album in the app was very simple. It's just a matter of selecting the photos you want in each album. You can also choose to share the device and your selected albums with different people so only they have access to the pictures you select, and you only have access to the ones they choose to share. They have to download the app as well, but after the initial setup is done once, it's easy for them to get connected. I am excited to finally have this convenient photo and video backup solution. You can connect online sources like Facebook as well if you want it to backup those pictures. The app walks you through everything. Great backup!

Great little device
I have a huge number of photos and videos on my desktop PC and thought it would be nice to be able to share them to my phone and tablet. The ibi has a desktop app that can be installed (and of course a mobile app for phones and tablets). Once I installed the desktop app, this device shows up as a separate drive on my PC, and I can just use Windows to copy all my photos and videos over to it. This works quite quickly, and I had no trouble at all copying huge folders and subfolders over to it. The ibi app can also be used for this, but that only allows you to copy the contents of a single folder art a time - I like to copy, for instance, my "2018 photos" folder and have the 12 monthly folders contained within it. So using your regular Windows commands works best for that. Once copied onto the ibi device, you can access all your photos and videos no matter where you go - many miles out of range of your home wifi network. This works out great as I have many movies I can watch if I feel like it, and of course if anyone wants to see my hundreds upon hundreds of photos, I can pull them right up! Obviously this would work great for anyone who wants to show their vacation pictures to the folks at work, or the baby pictures to the relatives, etc. Overall this is a great little device with a ton of storage room (close to 2 TB), that works exactly as I expected it to. Very easy to set up and use. Couldn't be happier.

Great little secure private cloud for the money
I have a review on my Youtube channel that walks through the device features and the app for desktop and iPad. So far this is proving to be a very useful device since I love to take pictures and shooting video. I did have an issue with the comments and loves from the Inner Circle but I was able to work that out with support. Their support team was great. My YouTube is Photo Gear Fun.
