• Designed to treat All burns - the variously sized sterile Hydrogel burn dressings can be used to treat All burns immediately, whether received from open flames, scalding from hot water, steam, gas, chemicals or electrical appliances.
  • Immediate burn relief - When applied after a burn, the burn dressing absorbs and dissipates heat, provides relief, minimizes shock and skin damage, halts the burn process, and physically protects against further contamination.

Positives: - Burn gel and dressing is always an important treatment that is left out of most first aid kits. From an intensive sun burn to touching something hot, quick burn treatment is important to help heal the skin. I’m very happy to have two of these packets for my first aid kits. - Gel is non-stick and won’t stick to the skin. - Safe to use on children. Non-toxic and non-irritant. - Package is thin and light enough (1.6 oz) that it can be added to backpacking kits in case of cooking, scalds or fire burns. - The spongy pad is thick and can be cut to size to fit any part of the body. Also, if only a small piece is needed, the remaining can be put back into the foil pouch to keep for when the dressing needs changing. - Long storage/shelf life! Package arrived with 4 years and 6 months before it expires. - On the back instructions are printed in eight languages with pictogram instructions at the very top. - I like that the company contact info and website is on the packaging. Negatives: - This is just the raw dressing. It needs a wrap to keep it against the skin. - Dressing is soaked in a gel and is messy. Again, some sort of wrap is needed to keep the dressing in place and keep the tea tree oil on the skin. Unfortunately, most first aid kits don’t have a wrap. Note: - I would have preferred a product made in the USA. This is made in South Africa. - Again, first aid is important and helps during the time between the accident and professional treatment. I think this is a great piece of gear to have in any first aid kit.

So, in all fairness I haven't had to use this yet. I mean, I hope I never have to but it was on the list of items to get for the first aid kit after my aunt burned herself with 2nd and 3rd degree burns. Seriously, this is an item you never actually want to review, but I will update if I need to so I can give a more fair summation. What I can say is that this is supposed to be gel so it doesn't stick, and that it's safe for all types of burns and even the freshest of burns. They are individually packed so they can go anywhere in a med box, safety kit, or travel. They appear to be easy to cut to size, too and I think I could vacuum seal the remaining pieces back into place. Both packs were sealed and have an expiration date about five years out, so I won't need to restock these for some time provided I store them properly. I haven't been burned in a long time, but this is an essential in a first aid kit. I did notice that these won't self adhere, though. That's probably not a bad thing or accident because no one wants something stuck to a burn. It's honestly a plus that it needs to be wrapped down so it doesn't end up healing or melting into a burned area. I'll update if I end up needing these, but I seriously hope I don't. Overall, they seem like a good product to have on hand. For a burn dressing and treatment, these are fair priced, too. $4 per is reasonable if it brings any amount of relief from the horror that is a burn.

Since I haven't burned myself lately, at least badly, it's kinda tough to review this product. I'm gonna take the manufacturer's word that it works. Having said that, I'll be keeping one dressing in the two first aid kits I keep in my vehicles. Note that the instructions say to "secure with a non-absorbent bandage." My way to do that will be to keep the dressing in it's original package and keep that inside a somewhat larger plastic bag (i.e. "non-absorbent") and keep a roll of cohesive bandage (coban) in the bag. That way if I need to use it I can place the dressing over the burn, cover it with the plastic and then hold the whole thing together with the coban. I don't think using an adhesive bandage near a burn would be a very good idea. Did note that these have an expiration date but the ones I received are good until at least May 2025. A great investment, for you or others, for $8.

I got the EverOne Burnshield to add to my first aid kit. I haven't had to use these yet and I hope that I never do, but it gives me peace of mind to know that if a burn accident were to occur, I am prepared. My husband cooks a lot and does occasionally burn himself, so I am definitely keeping one of these in the kitchen. I think it would be good to keep in a car's emergency kit as well. Since I have not used these before I feel I cannot write a proper review, however I can say that I can feel the gel through the package and it feels like it would calm a burn. I like that it does not have an adhesive as if I were to get burned I would not want a bandage sticking to the surrounding skin. If I do need to use these I will update my review.

These are great solid packs that'll keep the gel sanitary until I need it. They have a nice tear line so I don't need to run around looking for scissors. I can strip it and use it right when it's required. I'm a hobbyist welder, and the occasional burn from slag jumping somewhere unprotected is inevitable. Most of the time it's small and uncomfortable, but doable. I have seen a person wearing the wrong shoes while welding. A piece burned through the top of the shoe and sat on their feet while they desperately tried to untie them. I didn't have one at the time for him, but now I always keep some version of burn relief around. Overall I'm very happy to have this product in my kit. Recommended.

I have used this before and it works great on burns and hence got this to keep at home for emergency needs. It is meant for all kinds of burns and gives immediate relief. Can easily recommend it. My 2 cents below: Pros: - Works great on burns - Gives immediate relief - Easy to use - Very reasonably priced for a set of 2 Cons: - None that I see for this price and functionality

This is one of those products I hope I never need, but I feel it is necessary to have on hand. Burns can occur in the kitchen, workshop, while camping, or anywhere there is a heat source. I like the idea of applying a gel specifically developed to treat burns. I know I am using something helpful, or at least better than an old wives' tale. This will go in my emergency kit.

This is a perfect size for the first aid kit. It has a long shelf life and is thick and protective. I had an accident a couple of years ago with a large patch of road rash and this sort of bandage was recommended then. The gel really helps pull the heat out of the injury. This is one of those things you need to have on hand when the injury occurs.

Obviously I am not going to destroy one to open it without a need :-) but good to have in your first aid kit. I have a bit first aid box on the wall these are now part of that kit and I hope they degrade and fall apart of old age and I never have to use them. but if i do need them I am glad I have them.

This is a two pack of 4x4 burn dressings that are great to keep on hand in any first aid kit. They can be applied for any type of burn to provide some instant relief to the pain of a burn until you can seek medical attention.
