Works better than expected.

Liked it so much I bought a second one for a family member. Cut The Cord and wish I had done it sooner. Found a website for tv towers in our area, pointed at them and WOW I got three of the four networks with super signal strength. Tries several of the cheaper plastic window antennas, don't waste your time or money, this one works great. The remote did not work on the first one but the button on the on/off box did the job.

Once I had everything connected, I used the compass app on my phone and set it to 16 degrees. After running a scan on my TV, I immediately picked up 44 digital channels! Reception was crystal clear on all channels with the exception of ABC being slightly pixilated. I made a few adjustments and with some trial and error found the sweet spot to be 18 degrees NE. All 44 channels come in crystal clear. I never bothered putting batteries in the remote as I found it unnecessary. I plan to use a good 2.4 GHz splitter to send signal to my other two TV’s. I’ll update once this is done, but so far I am extremely impressed with this antenna and highly recommend to those who already cut the cord on cable, and miss having the basic channels.

Perfect picture quality and tons of stations

We tried rabbit ears for years and never got more than a handful of stations. We live about 50 miles away from the nearest towers and simply thought we'd be out of luck to ever get broadcast TV again. After buying and installing this antenna we suddenly get all the stations we've ever wanted with perfect picture quality. We had to hack this slightly to get it to mount to an existing dish sled that was on our roof but after getting that set up, it works perfectly. I'd also recommend using some better coax than what they provide you with. The cheap stuff that comes with the antenna can easily snap or break.

It's fairly sturdy.

Tried a number of antenna types and this unit has consistently brought in more stations with better quality than any other. It LOOKS like there are several companies marketing units that appear to be very similar and I suspect they are - so I think if you choose the best price, using this idea, you have a pretty good product. I would recommend you mount it where you can see it and your TV at the same time, to get the best reception. It is fairly sturdy. The weather is going to beat it up and you will probably have to get a new one every few years, but at the price, it still pays for itself many times over.

The construction of this antenna is solid

The construction of this antenna is solid. The elements were simple to unfold and snapped in place as expected. All other connections were seamless as well. The directions could use some typographical revisions, however, the pictures made up for that as a reference point throughout the process. This antenna achieved my goal without hesitation. It is also able to bring in my locals from the opposite direction with surprising clarity. This added plus means I don't need a rotor or separate short range antenna. It has held up very well so far, including a couple of severe thunderstorms and heavy wind. I believe this will be durable throughout seasons and last for a long time. Taking into consideration its current price point, durable construction, and solid features, this antenna should be on your radar. There are plenty of manufacturers, designs, and advertising claims out there. After sifting through all the information, I decided to give this one a go and am very pleased with the decision!

Fantastic little antenna

Fantastic little antenna. Surprisingly compact, but great reception. No trouble at all reaching stations 50-60 miles away from inside the house, through several walls and brick. Reception was actually so good from my test position on top of the entertainment center that I just set it up there permanently, rather than run it outside or in the attic. I may still move it to the attic eventually, but it's too hot now and I don't feel like crawling around up there. The body of the antenna is plastic. I was initially a little concerned about this, as it seemed a little flimsy, but it's plenty strong enough for what it needs to do. Also be aware that the directional adjustment is a little 'loose' as it tends to wobble a bit, which looses some of the positioning precision. Probably not an issue depending on distance from the transmitters, but a little creativity with a rubber band or spring and your good to go.

Wow- 66 channels just like that. I received an indoor antenna from a friend who was moving and thought it would work at their home and it didn't. The antenna was one that was like a flat piece of plastic you place on a window pane or the wall. It almost resembled a place mat. I received NO channels with it but could see some that were not there before but the were so snowy you couldn't watch anything. When they did come in, they froze and skipped so much I tossed it. So, I ordered this antenna. After a short assembly and installation I turned my TV on hoping to receive just a few channels. To my surprise, the TV started adding channels. It took so long I ended up going to eat and when I came home, boy was I surprised. 66 channels where I had none a couple of hours before. The channels come in just like they do on the TVs I have cable. Now there are a lot of stations I wont watch but it got me all the major networks and many locals that I didn't expect. There were even some cable channels that I didn't realize broadcast a signal to the public. I plan on purchasing more of these in the near future so all my TVs have them just in case the cable goes out in the future.

Unbelievable reception

Unbelievable reception and product quality! I took it out of the box and saw this antenna is made with exceptional engineering design and quality of construction. My house is in the country. According to the broadcast antenna site, the nearest digital broadcast station is 45 miles away with others being as far as 80 miles away. But still get all the local stations, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and a few more stations, great pictures. It was so easy to installed just connect to Direct TV cables, it works great. Cable companies have gotten out of control. Direct TV had canceled our local stations and did not want to give us anything free so I cancelled them.

Great Value

Has allowed us to unplug from cable! We get NBC, CBS, ABC and many others clear as a bell. Maybe 30+ channels in all. For free! Clear signal, no issues at all. A great value and product. You will need a standard electric outlet to where you mount it, but that is easy enough. I first mounted the antenna outside, but then tried it in the attic. I still received almost all the channels I was getting when I had it outside and it is protected now from the weather. We love the reception and huge savings we are experiencing by cutting the cable TV cord!!
