Works well
Funny story...I bought this for my soon to be brother-in-law. Before purchasing i sent a picture to my sister who assured me he would love the wood.....well he didn't. The wood is a definite fashion statement on the mountain, that is an acquired taste. However, because he was the only newbie skier in the group, it was nice that he stood out because we could easily find him on the mountain!

6 year old claimed it’s a winner!
My husband was teaching our daughter to ski this winter and we knew she needed a helmet for sure. After some research, we decided this was the perfect one for her. She loved being able to pick out her own color (she’s 6 - that’s a big one), the fact that it helped keep her head warm (as well as safe), and made her look like a professional. Haha. I loved that it also kept her head safe, was easy to use right out of the box, and can fit her for a long time due to it being adjustable. For size reference she was able to use it with her 6 year old head and my husband joking put it on and it also fit him when adjusted! Win-win. It does say you can use as a bike helmet, which I appreciate. That said, I personally think it looks huge (compared to other bike helmets) and slightly goofy as a bike helmet. I think we will just stick to using it for skiing for now. ;)

Good for my giant head.
I wanted to wait until I took a few hits with the helmet on before I reviewed. It worked great and not only protected my head but kept it warm, but not overly warm skiing. The price is great, well worth it. I have a giant head though (7 5/8), so I got the biggest helmet and ended up removing the adjustable cinch to get it to fit right. This was easy as it just snaps out, so you don't have to break it for it to fit.

Great Fit
I bought this helmet for our recent ski trip. It was very comfortable, easy to use with my goggles or without and didn't cause too much pressure on my head when wearing like other helmets I tried. I could easily tighten or loosen the helmet with the dial in the back and it came with some additional liner pieces that would have made it tighter, but I did not use those. I was worried that my ears would be cold, but that wasn't a problem at all - the ear pads provided great coverage against wind and snow. Additionally, on bluebird days that were over 40-degrees, I found that my head did not get too hot. The helmet traveled well (4 flights), was sturdy and comfortable. Highly recommended.

great product for the most part; still needed a beanie; don't expect a low-profile shell
Great price. Great looking helmet, too. I get quite a few compliments on it every time I go boarding, mostly cause the bamboo. The ear pockets are on point. Add some speakers and rock out. Only real downside was that the earmuffs don't fit quite as snug as other helmets. I've worn helmets that are snug enough that I don't need a beanie. But this one I still needed one. So it's not perfect. But all good because last time I was at Mammoth it was a snowstorm that shut down half the mountain and most people went home. Weaklings. I was warm and bumping jams all through the epic pow. It's not a low-profile shell by any stretch. So if you have kind of a big head (literally), you might want to reconsider. I wear the large and it definitely shows. I also wear giant hats. Here's the thing, though: I don't really give an eff and no one around me even commented on the size. See the two pictures I included. In the group shot, you can see the shell size is kinda big. But in the other one, it looks perfect. Plus, i look dope af. It's all optics, bro. If you're obsessed with a small shell, you should definitely buy a Bern. But then you'd be paying close to double and you'd look just like everyone else on the hill.

Good value
I'm happy with this helmet overall. It's a well built, quality unit for sure. I use it for winter cycling and it keeps my head a lot warmer than my summer cycling helmet did. It has room for a full face balaclava under the helmet and is very comfortable. It is a bit heavy and it's big and bulky. I notice others with more compact helmets that look more natural. To me, this looks like a football helmet without a facemask. I don't care, though, because I trust it to protect me if I klonk my noggin on something. I give it five stars because it's an excellent value and quality built item. Recommended.

Awesome coconut container!
I love this helmet! My kids have been rightly giving my a hard time about not having and thus wearing a ski helmet since they've been little. Since last ski season, when I hit my head on a branch (nothing terrible...), the bell finally went off that it was time to join the helmet team. After much research, I determined this to be my best bet, and have been totally satisfied with the purchase. It's well made, warm, comfortable, light and has the unique skin I really most enjoy. Best ski purchase I've made in a long time. You have no excuse to not be wearing a helmet when skiing/snow riding--they are all that I said and also, stylish! Plus, compatible with skateboard / bike riding and skateboarding. Ride on-but with increased safety!

PERFECT FIT! LOOK GREAT! WARM!
These helmets were great! They kept the kids warm all day... and with the dial, it was super easy to tighten them up. One of my daughters needed it a bit tighter then the dial would go, so I just pulled the liner out and stuck in the included pad and popped the liner back in, and she was off. Was so easy... I didn't even try them on before we go to the mountain and we were able to do it all in less than 5 min. Super happy with these... kids did not complain once after a full day on mountain! WIN!!!

This is a helmet that does what it was designed to do.
First things first...this is a good helmet. ABS shell and thick padding inside. It's comfortable and easily adjusted. Second thing...as someone stated, this is a bigger helmet. It looks large. If you want low profile...this is not that. It is however meant to protect your brain. I work with individuals who live with TBI and I can tell you...FUNCTION OUTWAYS FORM AND STYLE. Please, if you are wearing a helmet for protection, be smart, use your brain and buy a helmet for protection.

Good quality, cool design, great price, adjustable dial.
My son loved this helmet (wood grain). I looks just as pictured. I wanted to buy the whole family one to match, but he liked the uniqueness, so I purchased different helmets for each of us. I also purchased the teal green which I like, but the wood grain is my favorite. They have an adjustable dial which is a must for a proper fit. I also purchased one that was quite a bit more which was more, cheaper looking, and didn't have the dial, but I didn't have time to return before our trip, so we are stuck with it. I would definitely buy this brand again (I also purchased the H.S.C. Snow Helmet Winter Sports Ski Snowboard which is even better quality...the inside is SUPER soft, it has an adjustable dial, a soft shin covering, and an adjustable vents on the top so you can close them in super cold temps...I had to return and the seller was quick to respond and sent out a larger size the next day so that it arrived in time for our trip!...I don't think you can go wrong with either helmet).
